Nothing Worth Bragging About

"Bummer," Dylan said with a shrug. "If you're a violinist, have you heard that violin cover someone did of Echoes recently? I've never seen Troy so excited."

Megan's heart thudded in her chest. She hadn't thought Dylan was her mystery songwriter because he mentioned he was second guitar and it didn't seem likely that a second guitarist had been the one to start things off.

The original recording for "Echoes" included a singer and a lone guitar, which made it highly likely that whoever he was talking about right now was the one that actually wrote the song that meant so much to her. She couldn't be positive based on her own speculations though. She needed to ask as calmly as she could.

"Troy?"

"He runs all our social media pages," Dylan explained. "He found the cover first and showed it to the rest of us."
