Jonah had a suspicion that Eden only slept too deeply to be woken because she was exhausted from trying too hard to remain cheerful and friendly while stressed about whatever what going on with her family today.

He knew her mother had been pestering her lately about not coming down for Thanksgiving. She only had one day off so it wasn't exactly possible without paying an exorbitant amount of money to fly.
