"Wow!" Shan finally gasped when Lijuan repeated it with her own mouth. 

"That wasn't the reaction I was expecting from you seeing as you seemed to be rooting for us to be together all this while." Lijuan said dryly.

"Well, pardon me if I don't sound too excited. Today's episode was completely unexpected. Did he say he loved you? Or did he by chance ask you to be his girlfriend for real and you forgot to mention it to me?" Shan asked thoughtfully.

"You know I wouldn't have kept something like that from you. We didn't talk about love yet, and even when I asked him through his online avatar, it seemed he wasn't really sure about what he felt." 

"So what did you tell him? Did he ask you over the phone or at his house?" Shan asked again. She wished she had met Lijuan face to face for this kind of conversation. 

"I was at his office earlier..."

"His office? Like.. Wang Motors?" Shan asked, sounding very surprised.
