When it was time for dinner, the whole family was already seated around the dining table, including Rong who came in a few minutes back. 

Lijuan was glad Yun had really left instead of accepting to stay for dinner. She couldn't bear the awkwardness of him being around while everyone's attention was on them.

"Oh.. I can't believe I haven't mentioned this. Honey, do you know that I met Jiaying's friend today?" Mother Mei said to her husband who looked up at her curiously. 

"Mum!" Jiaying said through gritted teeth. She was tired of hearing about him every single time. 

"A friend?" Chairman Mei asked his wife while Rong and Lijuan listened with interest. 

"Yes. The young man who left your office just immediately I arrived. His name is Guan Yong. Did you know he was Jiaying's friend? And they seemed really close." She said excitedly. 

"We aren't close!" Jiaying countered impatiently.
