"And what the hell do you think you're doing?" Eliza asked the familiar face that held Bella's hand. Bella turned around to see who had the gut to hold her hand. However she was surprised, perhaps a little perplexed seeing him. It was Daniel, the most handsome and most loved male student in Mattson High School, who also happens to be Eliza's big brother.

"Why do you have to cause a ruckus in the school's cafeteria this time?" Daniel asked, glaring at Bella. "Can't you see the guys from the junior grade have their eyes on you?". Bella looked around, but she wasn't that concerned as she cursed in a low voice.

" Fuck! What are you doing here, Daniel? Please, let go of me, it's hurting me." Bella said to Daniel, ignoring his question.

"Oh sorry, never meant to hurt you but I had to cause it's not lady like to fight and cause a scene every single place you go but that as usual here you are again in the cafeteria where the juniors are watching you. You two are better than this, common." Daniel said has he let go of her hand. He looked pretty disappointed in them.

Bella simply said nothing, as she kept staring at his face, stupefied. Just then, Eliza asked her big brother, " Don't you have any where important to go? You should stop bugging your face in my matters, huh."

"Not really, I don't think I have anything to do, I'm kinda free" Daniel said, smiling. "Well, I just thought you had an appointment with Mr. Victor, your literature teacher" Eliza reminded.

"Fuckkk! that's true, I completely forgot!" Daniel said scratching his head, putting his hair out of place, then fixing it back with his fingers.

"Okay girls, I'm gonna head there now. No fighting" he said with a very serious expression on his face. "Hey Carly, how're you doing, hope you're good? Don't worry this two won't bother you again." Daniel told Carly as he smiled at her. He looked really handsome at that moment, even Carly had to admit it. She gave a slight nod with a smile. Satisfied, Daniel continued, "I'll be heading out now, as I said, no fighting." Stressing the 'no fighting' as he looked at his sister and her friend with a serious expression. It's really was amazing how quick he could change his expression in the blink of an eye.

"By the way, I have something for you Elizabeth, you can come to my class and get it." He gave his sister a quick peck on her forehead.

Eliza didn't see that coming and that got her quite frustrated. " Heeeeey, grooooss!!!" she exclaimed, squeezing her face.

"What? Do you know how many girls are praying and hoping to get a peck like this from me?" He asked with a devilish smirk on his face, as he left the cafeteria. At the entrance, he ran into Alicia. She had finished attending to Mrs Green and was heading back to the cafeteria.

"Hey, you better hurry, my sister and her friend are causing trouble for Carly again." He said as he smiled at Alica.

An angry expression swept over Alicia's face as she rushed into the cafeteria. Bella rolls her eyes on seeing Alicia. "Oh... The sidekick is here to save her master yet again."

"Exactly, and that's cause she doesn't have your time, but I do." Alicia answered with a smile on her face. "Wait, don't you girls get tired of taunting this girl? I know you do this cause she's better than you ruthless, jobless, and stupid human beings and you're too pained and too dumb to accept that she's better than you.

At least, she's won lots of competitions for her school. She's a public figure known to be the best of the best.she has respect from seniors and friends and juniors and even teachers. The whole school respect her cause she earned it but what have you done so far, huh? What exactly have you achieved? The two of you together couldn't even come close to her stats. Remember how you she flawlessly and singlehandedly win against you two last year?"

Bella couldn't bear the insults in the presence of her juniors, and was about to react physically when Alicia let out a small laugh.

"Oh now you want a fight? Cause I sure would love beating you to a pulp before these juniors" Alicia said, arms akimbo.

Eliza held Bella's hand in place. She shakes her head at her, telling Bella not to do anything stupid, cause they both knew the strong Alicia too well, and wouldn't want to get home with bruises on their faces.

Alicia turned to Carly, "But Carly, can't you for once, just once say something to defend yourself?"

Carly simply smiled as she got up from her sit. "Well, I have nothing to say to them cause they ain't even worthy of my silence, not to mention my words." Eliza and Bella were instantly dumbstruck as Carly continued "Besides, I don't really think it's their fault cause if wisdom and manners were a crime, then these two would be very innocent." This she said intentionally loud, so everyone could hear.

The whole Cafeteria who had been suppressing their urge to react to the drama they were watching all suddenly burst into Laughter, making jest of Eliza and Bella. The whole place was buzzing. Voices were heard saying words like, "what the ..., Now, that hit those bullies real hard..., Hehe, serves them right...", And so on. Even juniors laughed. The So called queens of Mattson High getting silenced by the best of the best. What a scene!

Carly made them leave the cafe, leaving Eliza and Bella stupefied on their spot. On their way out, Alicia's eyes met Karl's. She tried pulling away, but she couldn't till she got outside.

"Woooow... what just happened? Never thought you could talk back at them, at least not in that way. What gave you the boldness? How did you do it? Like, what exactly came over you?" Alicia bombarded Carly with questions obviously thrilled at Carly's so unexpected comeback.

Carly gave a small laugh and said, " Well, as Eliza and Bella were talking, I looked towards the new guy, Karl and he wore an expression I couldn't really decipher. But he seemed interested like he wanted to know what would happen next. I wanted to convince him that I ain't a weakling and I could at least say something too, and stand up for myself."

"Huh! Wait a minute, don't tell me you like this Karl guy, Carly." Alicia said.

"No I don't, I just..." Carly tried defending herself.

"Yesss you do... Your actions says it all. You spoke for the first time cause a guy looked at you."

She laughed and kept teasing Carly too. Carly also ended up laughing both enjoying their little victory.

The bell went off again and they headed straight to class
