95 New Attitude

"I won't have to work overtime as an assistant creative director, will I?" Penelope asked a bit hesitantly. "I need to be able to focus on my family outside of work."

This may completely ruin her chances but she had to be honest. There was a time she would have done anything for this promotion but her priorities had changed. 

To her surprise, Darren smiled. "No, you won't. And that new attitude of yours is exactly why I want to promote you. You've been a lot more open to other people's input lately and it's really boosted morale in the creative department. You've matured a lot since you first started working here."

Penelope couldn't believe what she was hearing. She got a chance at this promotion because of something her other self did, not her own hard work?
