3 chapter 03 : To burn an empire

Recap : in the last chapter toji found out, That he was poisoned by zu. He used him as a gun for all his troubles. And when he wanted to leave he was killed. Seeing the betrayal. And a daughter. He needs to clean up. So his past won't ever reach him.

Story starts here:

After receiving memories. And the power toji. He has now become.

THE ONE WHO LEFT IT ALL BEHIND.

But he doesn't want to ignore the promise that his wife made.

Which means the wife of this body. He wants to compelete it. This is beacuse it was the last regret of this.

So he wants to complete it so. If the other guy is on the other side. He will be in Peace. Knowing that his daughter is begin taken care of.

But before he can complete it. He has an empire to burn. And to do that he has all the things he needs.

Toji weaponry. Even if there's no curse spirits, In this world they have their effects. Which is an over kill considering some of their effects.

With this arsenal he could take over an nation. And will have a chance of winning. But he doesn't need to take care of a nation.

Currently he needs to deals with zu. Make sure he doesn't pull anything, And to know the proper location of his new daughter.

The girl name is Sujin kim. She is her age..he doesn't know how old. The body way of living was working. And killing to coup with the loss.

But knowing she was alive. He needed to reach her. To apologize to her. To hold her like he used to.

And to achieve it. He will do anything. Starting with zu. Ask everything about her. Ask where she is. Clean all his past links. So it doesn't come to bite him Or his daughter.

Which in other words. To make sure he is dead. Now since the guy is on his way. He must give him a surprise.

But with what should he use. He has a rocket launcher. Assault rifles ,snipers, its like Toji was ready to start war.

Theirs even a Gatling gun in their. But the only missing thing is the worm which toji used to store all the weapons.

He knows everything about this gun. By pulling a single screw he can make the whole gun useless. This is his condition. Due to toji knowledge.

And don't get me started on his battle iq and battle Sense. Its something else. So by using it all.

' I will sever my past ties'. This was the thought of our mc.

While mc was planning. We what zu was doing. Zu is sitting in a huge pent house. With dg music and flashing lights.

Looking at the secene, It looks like an party. But in the party only a handful of people are there.

There are many girls dancing on the floor. With a muscular man without a shirt begin surrounded.

Looking at his bold head and a goote beard. With a bits of white showing in the beard.

While he was drinking a girl near him spoke "mr zu why are in such a bad mood".

Hearing it, Zu takes a swing of branded expensive drink. And speaks without a worry "I am not in a baad mood. It's just that i am a bit sad. I lost an really useful tool today, One which replacement is really hard to find".

Hearing the girls speaks once again. "Well i am sure you didn't lose it. As your soo Smart. Its only a matter of time you will find the tool. As you must have given or placed ot somewhere else".

Just when he was about to respond at her words. His phone rings. Looking at the caller name jang.

Jang was sent to make sure the tool was placed somewhere. With full supervision, Picking it up.

He hears the other side say. In an serious tone "Boss trouble, I am currently seeing a laptop with countdown. I don't know of its a bomb or something else. Also files of each of your deal and killings is also here".

Jang continues "There are even voice recordings of your deals. Boss what should we do. I can burn the files and bring laptop to you. There are 4 hours remaining".

Hearing theong rant of jang. Zu made the desicion fast. And spoke in the phone."Burn the files gas the house, And bring the laptop back to me. Make sure nothing is left at the secene, To make sure it doesn't trace back to us. And jang makr sure to burn all files. If somehow i found out a single digit of that file or word exist. I will personally make you disappear, Got that".

Receiving a yes boss. Zu cuts the phone looking at the surrounded beauty's. Zu spoke "Girls party's over, I got personal things to take care of, making sure they are done correctly".

The girl's doesn't show displeasure or spoke against zu. They all heard. Zu's voice which was filled with displeasure and hatered.

They just prayed whoever ot was directed to will meet a peace ful end. Without any words spoken all start to leave. Everyone leaves leaving only zu and couple of guards.

Zu is sitting comfortably on the couch. And thinks ' Toji even in your final moments you continue to be a hassle for me. Was that bitch and little shit of a daughter was this important to you, But sadly you won't be seeing, you're daughter again toji. Deal with shaman and drugs traffickers of Korea was far too important, I am sorry for it'.

While zu was in his thoughts, We see what is going on jang side. Jang was on his knees surrounded by bodies filled with holes and Slash mark's.

While he was on his knees he is thinking what went wrong, This should have been a simple job.

He and the guys needed to confirm je was dead, make the secene look like gas explosion.

So when they entered the 2 story house. On the ground floor they didn't found the body and all lights seems to be off with a couple begin on.

Which meant he died in his sleep or on the second floor. One of them was sent up to check.

Jang lackey : "No am not going up alone. Do you see this house, its like a ghost house".

Lackey 2 : Don't be a wuss, Jut go upstairs and see if you find a tall muscular black haired dude. Not moving or breathing. Yes then call us we will start the gassing process here.

When he was about refuse,. Jang on the side told him. "Go now". Jang lackey sigh at this. And so he goes up.

After a while. Jang and others didn't get his voice. Calling him and receiving no response.

Jang speaks loudly this time "Hey if your playing with us. I assure you. We will be leaving you in this house to burn as well".

Still no response. 10 people 1 out. How many left 9. Those 9 took out guns with silencers.

Going up the stairs with proper from to cover angles, To make sure they don't get ambushed. Going up, The stairs.

They find jang lackey standing still Infront of a door way. Calling him he doesn't respond. This sets of lackey 2.

Who steps out of formation. And puts a hand over his shoulder. Jang lackey falls on the ground.

Getting a look at him. His skull is caved in. Like he was hit on the head with an sledgehammer. But they didn't heard a single voice.

Such a huge thing Begin swinged at head some sort of noise will be released. They all had their attention on the jang lackey.

Which means. They are not looking around. Toji looked all of this. He was hiding on the roof of the corridor. Like spiderman.

Seeing their attention away he drops. A combat knife in his arm appears. Stabbing it in the skull of the nearby thug.

Killing him instantly. This sudden appearance and loss of one guy brings them back to reality. Aiming with gun to shoot.

But toji moved faster. Going near another thug. Kicking in the back of rhe the knee to put him on the ground and to use him as a human shield.

But he understimated his own power. The kick did way to much damage then expected. The whole knee cap, bones tendons shot out. Like a squeezing a tomato.

Blood goes every where. Such a brutal secene shocks everyone. The thug to which it happened he started screaming. But before he could be successful.

His whole neck is twisted 180. Seeing the guy looking at them while his body is facing toward toji. Was like a horror secene.

They started to shoot without hesitation. Using the dead guy as cover form bullets. He throws him. With enough strength. Which sends the body flying at them at fast speeds.

The body hits jang and knocks him out. The rest followed the same fate. As Jang lackey, Leaving only jang alive.

Which woke up to such nightmare. And was asked to call zu and get his location. Doing everything correctly as he was told.

He looks at the guy who is sitting on the couch. Watching TV, And not caring about the bodies on his second floor.

Jang gathering courage speaks in a fearful tone. "I did as you asked and told me to do, Zu's is at xxxx location penthouse. The penthouse is one of the safe location for zu. Most of the time it's used for partying and orgys for zu. This is all i know can i go now".

Turning off the tv. Toji looks at the guy who was kneeling. Jang is shaking under his gaze. The action of turning off the tv.

Is like a countdown for jang. Seeing toji looking at him. He speaks in an hastily fearful tone. As sweat pours from his forehead.

"Toji i did everything you asked me to do and you promised me, You know i have a family, I will leave everything behind. I will never do any crime related work ever again. Pls toji pls".

Hearing jangs rant. Toji puts a finger over the lips in a shussh motion. This sign prompts jang to shut his mouth.

And seeing the silence toji speaks calmly. "You know what i said, I promise. But what did i promise. Was it to kill you painfully. Or was it to rip your arms and legs off. Leaving you to die like a worm, But since you gave me zu location and information for penthouse. I will let you leave, This world with less pain".

Hearing the leave word made jang really happy. But his last words made jang fearful. Just when he was about to run. He saw toji vanish.

Appearing behind him. He didn't saw what happened how did he moved this fast did he teleported.

Looking at toji emotion less eyes. Only one word comes out of his mouth "MONSTER".
