103 Chapter 103: Reunion of two Uchiha

Hiruzen stared at the Hyuga, dead in the eye and asked rhetorically, despite knowing the answer. "Hiashi. You're really betraying the village."

Although, he had suspected a few clans of having the potential to become a threat to his position and the Leaf, the Hyuga clan had been relatively low on that list.

First of all, before the incident twelve years ago, they had been his right hand men that voluntarily helped him whenever he asked for it.

Secondly, they had a 'perfect' chance to rebel together with the Uchiha clan, but instead sold them out and offered to help with eliminating this 'threat' to the Leaf.

Many of the Konoha shinobi looked unsure, their momentum and morale had greatly lowered as the publicly acknowledged number one clan in Konoha had ended up betraying them.

Hiashi crossed his arms and hid his feelings behind his everlasting facade.

"You think rather highly of yourself judging the actions of others. I prefer to call it a revolution."

He paused.

"You could say... this is all for Konoha. Even if I had a hand in a few deaths, you'll forgive me right?"

Hiruzen felt rising rage, and asked with a false calm.

"You've went so far to kill your fellow shinobi?"

Hiashi flippantly replied as if it wasn't worth anything, "Unfortunately, yes. That list currently consists of Shinnosuke and Akako Sarutobi, as well as those two gatekeepers."

An explosion occurred in the mind of many present. The clan leaders began to link what they knew about that incident and gasped at the realisation.

They had practically gotten confirmation that the Cloud had been in contact with the Hyuga clan at a minimum of eight years ago, and that Kumogakure had played a major role in the stealing of the Scroll of Sealing.

What was unbelievable was the fact, that the murderer of the Hokage's family had been strolling around Konoha this whole time.

Hizashi's expressionless face cracked as he tried to hide the distress he was feeling, "Brother, are you serious?! What about the iron sand? Why was that there?"

Hachiro wondered why these trained killers had so much trouble using basic logic, leisurely replied for him. "We're ninja you know? I think the word deception, is quite heavily associated with ninja."

With his brain on supercharge after being feed some important information.

Hiruzen shouted in anger throwing a wild accusation. "You stole the Uchiha's sharingan?!"

After failing to find any ground on who had poached a good amount of sharingan during the massacre, he ultimately blamed Danzo.

He had gotten more information on the suspects and apparently, they seemed to be similar to Root in the way they dressed, and executed techniques belonging to Konoha.

Those techniques would require someone to be in a high position, like Danzo or the other clans.

If the clans had such a force, they would certainly be more active and leave clues about.

As such, he pinned the blame on Danzo.

It was a good excuse to take some of the leftover funds belonging to Root, and knock down his old friend who had been eyeing him with hostility as a reminder of his place.

He had placed the matter to the back of his mind, and forgot about the missing sharingan, asuming his old buddy had hid them somewhere and refused to hand them over.

It wasn't like he could brainwash him with the Will of Fire, so he left it at that.

As if synchronised with his thoughts the scattered men and women with eyepatches took them off to reveal a blood red eye.

One of them approached Hachiro and mockingly asked, "Big bro Hachiro, is this old man suffering from Alzheimer's disease? He seems to have forgotten about the attack."

Atsui flexed his scarlet eye, shining with three black tomoe as an aggravating grin dawned his face.

"Hey, ordinary eyes can't kill. Stop staring at me. I just picked up what Konoha left on the ground."

The Leaf shinobi looked at them deadpan.

Yakumo squealed and yelled with puffed up cheeks, "I know it! The evil, mysterious red eyed devil organisation is going to take over the world."

She let out a stupid giggle as a few nearby shinobi looked at her concerned.

While, the many people wearing eye covers raised a few questions, it wasn't going to kill anyone but now they had found out they were sharingan from Konoha's Uchiha clan.

And as the Last survivor of the Uchiha clan massacre, Sasuke was going through the most inner turmoil.

"How?! Those eyes belong to my clan!"

Even a dog would understand, the leaf was under attack with the commotion from all around the village, but that wasn't something he cared about.

Step!

His heart halted for a moment, he whipped around and grabbed a kunai from a holder on his waist, before stabbing at the woman behind him.

Unfortunately, he was neutralised with ease as a hand tightly gripped his wrist and caused him to grimace in pain.

The black haired woman then told him, "I'll explain everything, after this war is over."

Kurenai was close to him and notice a key detail.

"Did she just activate her sharingan manually?"

There was only two ways to explain such a phenomenon

She was delusional or the woman was a pure blooded Uchiha like Sasuke.

The double sharingan that no other shinobi besides Sasuke seemed to be an indicator towards the latter option.

Hiruzen was seething as his mental state collapsed on itself, "Impossible! Itachi killed... no, said he killed all of you!"

He was about to fly into a rage and be crushed under the mental burdens he found himself placed under today.

He discovered that a wild jinchuriki from the Sand had released his full wraith and was likely wreaking havoc upon the Leaf right at this moment.

The Kazekage was actually, Orochimaru, and the Cloud was promoting Hinata Raiden as the Fifth Hokage.

He also found out that the murderer of his son was in the village the entire time, the Uchiha were not completely exterminated and where the missing sharingan from the Uchiha corpses were.

Izumi exploded into a puff of smoke revealing her true appearance as her three tomoe eyes spun into the shape of a crossdart.

"I've dreamt of hanging you on a cross before stabbing you with swords for three weeks in my dreams."

Mangekyō Sharingan!

Hiruzen recognised what the unique pattern in her eyes symbolised and shook.

Silence pervaded through the air, until the youngest Uchiha recalled who she was.

"Big sis? Is that you sister Izumi?"

He looked at her confused and tried to keep his hopes and expectations low.

Izumi gave a beaming smile full of familial love and care, and talked to him like he was a child.

"Sasuke, wait a moment for me. I'll answer any questions you have once I've got everything sorted out here."

She gave him a pat on the head and requested for some help.

"Would you mind killing the Hokage's advisors for me? They may have been quite strong in their primes, but they're old and weak now. You can treat it as a high level mission, you need to complete, like that game we played as kids."

She gave a fond smile thinking of some fond memories.
