Looking at the spear that Yuuya holds in his hand, overflowing with a crimson-colored aura as if fire flares on the spear, Yuuya utters in disbelief.

After choosing the menu with curse energy manipulation that was allowed to open, he was greeted by numerous video recordings of Tenjou Kuuya teaching him about curse energy and how to manipulate them, amongst which it was mentioned using weapons and imbuing them with curse energy to be one of the most efficient ways to master the manipulation.

Following the example of what Kuuya demonstrated in the video, Yuuya immediately summoned his [Absolute Spear] and channeled it with his curse energy, imagining to perform what Kuuya demonstrated in the recording... and it succeeded immediately?

Looking at the spear overflowing with his channeled energy, Yuuya thought, "Is manipulating curse energy that simple?" but immediately shook this thought off.

Controlling cursed energy requires both innate skill and rigorous training. It's also difficult for humans to learn, and only a few sorcerers can do it consistently.

Then how was Yuuya able to do it so easily?

Well, the answer is simple... because he is Tenjou Yuuya.

'This body is just a complete cheat.'

A grin couldn't help but form on Yuuya's face as he understood the reason why he was able to get this technique so easily.

The effects of the titles Yuuya got are one of the main reasons why he was able to get this technique so easily and one of Tenjou Yuuya's main abilities.

Tenjou Yuuya in IGCA was able to learn any technique he sees for once, perform any kinds of moves of different power systems effortlessly because of his titles which grant him a heck of a talent.

As long as Yuuya imagines a technique with the effect of his titles and leveled-up powers, he could pull them off effortlessly.

Realizing this, Yuuya couldn't help but be excited, as even though he knows that he can master things easily, he never expected it to be so easy to learn these things... but I guess this just shows how much of an overpowered character Tenjou Yuuya is.

Manipulating his spear, fiddling around with it, Yuuya watched how the curse energy of his leaves images behind. Spinning his spear, Yuuya took a throwing stance and threw the spear towards the tree in front of the entrance.

BOOM!

The spear flew out of Yuuya's hand with astonishing speed greater than before when he used it against the hell slime and immediately struck the tree, creating a small explosion.

After the attack, the spear automatically teleported to Yuuya's hand while Yuuya was silent, looking at the site of impact.

The destructive power Yuuya's attack had shown even surprised him for a moment, but what surprised Yuuya more was the aftereffect of the attack.

Even after the spear was summoned back by Yuuya, his red curse energy still lingered around the tree, slowly dissipating but as it did, the dark area that appeared after the impact began to expand.

Yuuya went near the tree and examined the black area which now had become... somewhat corroded?

'It's as if the tree is being corroded by my energy.'

Yuuya thought to himself as he conjured up his Curse energy in the hand, activating his Cursed Attire.

'Now that I think about it... isn't my curse energy a bit different?'

In the anime, it was shown that the curse energy is blue in color. Yuuya, who first saw his curse energy as crimson red in color, thought about it before but dismissed it, thinking that it may be different in this world.

But after seeing the recordings of Kuuya, who used blue-colored curse energy, Yuuya finally noticed the peculiarity of his curse energy.

'Special Trait?'

There are rare cases where cursed energy carries a special property unique to its user. When applied to their fighting techniques, it can grant them a special texture or effect that gives them an advantage in battle. These special traits cannot be defended by simple reinforcement techniques.

Hajime and Kinji were two of such characters who possess these special traits... amongst which Hajime is a sorcerer from 400 years introduced during culling games and also possesses a special trait which added an electrifying effect to his curse energy.

'...Does that mean I also possess a special trait? But what is it...'

Yuuya said to himself as he looked at the dead tree, and the word corrosion instantly appeared in Yuuya's mind.

'...Corrosion.'

Looking at the curse energy which slowly corroded the tree, destroying it slowly but stopping as the remains of energy disappeared, Yuuya finally realized the special trait of his.

'Is this also a gift from them?'

Yuuya thought as he frowned. This special trait... massive amounts of curse energy... Yuuya's title... this was all arranged by that clown and higher beings.

But why are they doing this? Granting him so many benefits... Giving him so many things...?

Do they only wish for some broken and overpowered character for their entertainment? Or...

...there is something more to this.

Yuuya's intuition warned him that something dangerous is going to happen in the future...

'What's this feeling...?'

An ominous feeling rose in Yuuya's heart as he thought about the latter.

'Is this just my imagination...?'

Yuuya clenched tightly on the spear he was holding as he looked at it...

'I don't know if I'm just overthinking or what my intuition is saying is right...'

'It doesn't change the fact that I need to get stronger.'

These were Yuuya's final thoughts as he looked at the dense forest in front of him.

'I need to get stronger.'
