I HATE YOU (Megha's POV)

It has been three months since I gave birth to a handsome angel.

I got discharged from the hospital after 24 days after his birth. We named him Aaradh Malhotra. Everyone celebrated him. He was the center of attention of the whole family. At times we were sad remembering my daughter but his one smile kisses away the sadness. Mathew was stuck to him 24/7. He loved him more than anything.

Sahana was excited and equally loved playing the role of an elder sister. She spends most of the time with him. She enjoyed every single movement of Aaradh. Every time he yawned, she giggled, and every time he cried, her eyes formed tears.

Catherine was more sensitive about Aaradh than me. She took care of him like a protective hen. She carried him like he was something made of glass. He was a son to him rather than a nephew.

Akash might be way younger than all of us, but when it came to taking care of Aaradh he was more than equal to us. He also threw away most of the sharp objects from the house and also taped the corners of all the furniture. He called the doctor every week to learn more about how to take care of an infant. To be honest the doctors were fed up with his calls.

Then, coming to Krish. He spent all his time with his son. He always stayed beside Aaradh like he would wither off the second his father was not with him.

But since the day I delivered Aaradh, Krish has not spoken a word to anyone except for his son. He had food with us in silence, stopped being cheesy with me, and stopped being clingy with me. He no more tried correcting me when I said or did something stupid. It felt like he was somewhere very far away from me though we stayed under the same roof. He didn't touch me since that day even during his sleep he made sure that he only wraps his hand around Aaradh, who sleeps between us, and did not make the skin to skin contact with me. The worst was that he didn't cry or mourn after that day for the death of our unborn daughter.

One fine day while he was above to leave for work without telling me a word to me. I lost my patience.

"Krish", I called out his name, and he ignored me.

"KRISH", I shouted.

"What?", he asked nonchalantly still not looking at me.

"Eyes on me", I said and he finally looked at me after whole three freaking months, "What is wrong with you?" I added.

"What is wrong with me? Nothing"

"Krish Malhotra, don't test my patience. I am not stupid to not observe the changes in you. You haven't spoken to me for three months."

"We will talk later", he said his voice barely heard.

"No, we will clear this matter, right now, right here. Why have you stopped speaking to me?"

"BECAUSE YOU ARE A MURDER..."

"THE HELL YOU ARE SPEAKING", Mathew cut him off. I hold Mathew's hand and signed Krish to continue talking. Though I know whatever he is going to tell me now will shatter me, I wanted him to spill out everything he is feeling. I want him to stop suppressing his emotions.

"You killed my daughter", Krish cried. After months tears, at last, made their way out of his eyes

"Krish I didn't do anything", I said calmly

"If you had listened to me. If you hadn't come in between. My daughter would've been alive. She would have been with us. You killed her Megha. You killed my daughter. That day, after I saw Aaradh in the incubator I ran to the doctors and requested them to show me, my daughter. I saw her Megah, I saw my dead daughter. She didn't look like a baby, she was like a grey slime and irregularly shaped slime. That rod that hit you hit her directly, it killed her. I can still see that grey slime-like dead daughter of mine in front of my eyes now also. HATE YOU TO THE CORE. YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A MURDERED OF MY DAUGHTER"

"She was daughter also, Krish. I'm her mother"

"You are a killer. You are a mother who killed her own unborn daughter", he said firmly

Mathew lost his temper with Krish's words. He was beside me one moment and the next moment pinning Krish to the wall, choking him. Mathew's long, slender fingers were squeezing Krish's neck. Veins popped out of his arm. I have never seen him this angry.

"Math..ew", Krish choked out hitting Mathew's hand.

"DARE YOU CALL MY SISTER A MURDERER? YOU FREAKING BASTARD IS NOT WORTHY OF HAVING A WIFE LIKE HER.", Mathew growled.

"Mathew", I called out. He did not respond.

"Leave him, Jones", Catherine requested, her words went unheard by him.

Sahana started crying seeing all chaos. Aaradh also started wailing with all the noises around him. Catherine immediately ran to him, took him, and started to rock him back and forth. She took him inside the room. Mathew did not move, his grip remained as it is around my husband's neck. Krish was out of breath and his face was turning red.

"JONES MATHEW, LEAVE HIM", I ordered

"No, I'm going to kill this bastard today. How dare he call you that? How dare he hurt you so many times?", Mathew argued back

"He is my husband, the one I love the most in this world. THE MOMENT YOU HURT HIM, I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL END MY LIFE", I made my statement. He turned and look at me.

"I am dead serious, Mathew", I told staring into his eyes.

He took a step back and let go of Krish. Krish fell to his knees, coughing and his neck had the marks of Mathew's fingers. I sat beside him and rubbed his back but he pushed my hand away. He moved away from me. He was disgusted by my touch.

I can put up with anything but the pain of his hatred toward me is not at all something that I can endure. Tears start welling up in the rim of my eyes.

"Krish she is the one you love. She is your wife. She has all the bloody rights to touch you. Stop acting like this", Mathew said to Krish in a warning tone.

"I don't love her anymore. She is just the mother of my kid", Krish replied in a serious voice.

His words ripped me apart. It shattered my heart into pieces. Tears flowed down my eyes. I couldn't handle it anymore, he is the one I loved the most but these bitter words from him weren't something I could not take it.

"CATHERINE", Mathew shouted and she came out of the room, holding a peacefully sleeping Aaradh.

"Pack the bags, we are leaving this house with Megha and Aaradh", he ordered Catherine and looked at me for approval. I just nodded.

"Aaradh needs his father, also", Krish commented

"He will spend the weekends here", Mathew said his face raging with anger.

Krish didn't reply a word. I want him to oppose it. I want him to ask Mathew to let me stay with him. I wanted him to ask me not to go. A word from his mouth and I will stay here. But, no he just let us go.

All the bags were packed and we were set to go while Akash entered the home. He was shocked seeing us standing with packed luggage.

"What is happening here?", he questioned with confused expressions

Catherine calmly explained everything.

"No, you can't go. You guys can't leave me", he complained

"Take care of Krish", I said on the verge of a breakdown.

"Let's leave", Mathew said. He walked near Krish and punched him a couple of times. Krish's lips busted and started bleeding, his cheeks also got slightly swollen due to the blows.

We all walked out of the house. I felt lifeless the moment I stepped out of that house. This is the place where I met Krish for the first time. I fell in love with him in this house. We got married when I was in this house. My first crush, first love, first clubbing, first night drive, first kiss, most of my firsts took place at this house. I was mentally and emotionally broken now. The only reason now I am breathing is for this innocent kid sleeping in my arms, Aaradh.
