15 Unsullied Army
Arthur and Corlys finally arrived at Astapor. It took them 1 month and 1 week to reach Astapor from Braavos. All the time, Arthur was touching the dragon eggs and tried to feel the warmth coming from it. Arthur was now sure that these dragons would bond with him and then to his children. But he didn't want to hatch it now. He made up his mind to hatch them after the war of the stepstones. Lord Corlys had already send ravens to his people to bring the other 14 galleys. Arthur also sent ravens to the Saan family to move their fleet to Astapor.
Arthur didn't like the atmosphere around Astapor. People were chained and was being pulled by their masters. It was a gruesome sight. Now, Arthur hates slavery more than anything. Just when Arthur and Corlys would deal with a slave trader, they saw that what the punishments of slaves are. The unsullieds are castrated at a young age. But if the other working slaves disobey their masters orders, they are tortured in a cell or their wives are raped and they are forced to watch them getting raped while being in a cell. Some slaves had to fight among themselves just to survive. The unsullieds are trained from young age. They dare not show their emotions as they are raised in a cruel environment. Arthur could see how a master cut a unsullieds nipple just to prove that he won't budge.
Finally a slave took Arthur and Corlys to their trader. He was a fat bastard. He was grinning from ear to ear. He recognized Lord Corlys but he didn't recognize Arthur. As he saw Arthur's silver hair, he is from lys or was a bastard of Corlys.
"Greetings, Lord Corlys. I didn't expect someone of your caliber would visit Astapor and who might you be?"- the Fat slave trader talked to Lord Corlys and finally looked at Arthur.
From the time when Sealord of Braavos had known Arthur's objective, Arthur was being very cautious. As he saw that the Fat bastard didn't knew him, he didn't want to introduce himself as this might cause in price hike. After all, the news of Arthur being the lord of Dragonstone has already reached in the ears of the people in essos. He felt relieved that a powerful person like this fatso didn't know him. So, he eyed Lord Corlys sharply and Corlys also understood this. Being the master of ships, Lord Corlys had a high intelligence.
"I am Arth Waters. A bastard of Lord Corlys Velaryon."- Arthur told the fat slave trader who laughed at him in response. Even Lord Corlys had his eyes widen due to Arthur's proclamation . Although Arthur's hair was more silver colored than Corlys the Fat trader didn't doubt him.
The Fat trader then grinned at lord Corlys before speaking,"Tell me lord Corlys, why are you here? A person of your character visiting Astapor, is quite difficult to realize."
Lord Corlys didn't want to continue that much sweet talk with him. So he quickly said," I am here to make a deal, trader. I want to buy unsullieds. How much do I have to pay for 6000 unsullieds? State your price wisely."
Hearing him, that fatass started laughing menacingly,"Hmm, for that you would have to pay 500000 gold dragons. I will not take any less, Lord Corlys. I wonder, are you planning a war with the king? Why would you need that much slaves."
Hearing the price, Arthur and Corlys was surprised because they thought that the price of these unsullieds will be atleast 1 million. But they both knew that the price was lower due to Arthur hiding his identity. If Arthur revealed his identity himself, then the price would skyrocket. It was because many people from essos knew that Arthur was from a powerful Valyrian House. If Arthur revealed that he wanted to buy 6000 unsullieds, they would not let him buy them. It was because Dragonstone would gain a powerful army and it might possess a threat to them. The triarchy was already considering Arthur's attack when they heard Arthur was travelling with Lord Corlys.
"That's not your business, master. Get them ready. How much time to bring all of them together will take?"- Lord Corlys narrowed his eyes at first before speaking casually.
"5-7 days. It takes time to move 6000 slaves you know."- the fatass told lord Corlys before going away.
Meanwhile, Arthur and Corlys also went to their ships to stay and discuss about this matter. They knew that in 5-6 days their ships would arrive as they had already informed their own fleets to start their journey. The first one to arrive would be Saan Family fleet as they will come from Lys which is ultimately closer to Astapor than Driftmark.
Arthur didn't like Astapor at all. He wanted to go to Rhaenyra fast and let her and Dreamfyre see the eggs.
Soon, 6 days passed. In the 4th day, Saan fleet arrived and Arthur told them to wait much to their displeasure. But they knew they had to obey. In the 6th day, the 14 galleys had arrived at Astapor. Meanwhile, the fat slaver trader had already brought 6000 unsullieds in an open field and told a slave to inform Lord Corlys.
As Lord Corlys and Arthur had arrived to the location, they could see the army of 6000 unsullieds unfazed by anything as if they were robots. Behind Arthur, 10 Velaryon soldiers brought 4 chests containing 500000 gold dragons. Arthur was already laughing in his head. He didn't imagine that he would get this much army in such a low amount of money. He already knew that he would at least have 4 million gold dragons left after their expedition. It was enough for passing the war.
Lord Corlys gave the chests to the Fat bastard while he gave him a golden whip which would make him the master of these unsullieds. But lord Corlys handed the Golden whip towards Arthur. The unsullieds now knew that their master was the 15 year old man. Arthur looked at Corlys and waved his handle slightly which Lord Corlys understood. He told the fat master to leave this place to them for organizing these unsullieds a little bit. The fat slaver trader had gotten his money and so he had left the place pretty fast.
Arthur went towards the 6000 unsullied facing him. He knew that he had probably one of the most strongest forces now. After all, unsullieds were very disciplined and fought with strategys. There was a legend that 3000 unsullied army defended against a 50000 dothraki horde. Now, that he was their master, they would obey him even if that would cost them their lives.
But Arthur didn't want them as slaves. He has already made a plan that he would let 2500 unsullieds stay in Dragonstone. Although it would be quite hard to fit 2000 unsullieds in that small land but Arthur had already decided that he would create some houses as well as buy some galleys to accomodate them in the time of war. The other 3500 unsullied would stay in Stepstones after the war. He needed both their hardwork and feelings.
Arthur shouted at them," Dovaogēdy! emā issare slaves mirre aōha ābrar. Tubī iksā dāez. Mirre vala qilōni wishes naejot henujagon kostagon henujagon, se daorys kessa ōdrikagon zirȳla. Kesan tepagon ao ñuha udra. Kessa ao ivīlībagon nyke? Hae dāero valoti? kesā glaesagon freely gō ñuha tīkun (Unsullied! You have been slaves all your life. Today you are free. Any man who wishes to leave can leave, and no one he will harm him. I will give you my words. Will you fight for me? As free men? You will live freely under my wing")
Arthur stayed silent and was motionless. There was silence everywhere. Arthur started thinking that Daenerys's speech wasn't working. But soon he was proved wrong as the unsullied army started moving their spears up and down which created a beautiful sound that even reached the ears of the good masters that were very far from them. Seeing this, Arthur threw away the golden whip.

Soon, Arthur started moving them towards the ships and started their journey back to Dragonstone and Driftmark. He told Lord Corlys to let 3500 of his unsullied army stay in Driftmark and bring them in time of war. They both agreed that after they reach Dragonstone, they will wait for a month to start the bloody war. It was because they both knew that a largy army like theirs would need rest and food. In one month, they will manage food for the army and give their men the rest they deserve before shoving them to war.
Arthur was already missing Rhaenyra. Though he said that he would send letters to her he only sent 2 . Arthur knew that it would make his future wife disappointed and depressed. But still he was busy. But he knew that soon he would see her again.
