Heir's Tournament!

2 days passed in the blink of an eye. he just roamed Crownlands with a hood over his head to cover his hairs. Today is the day the heir's tournament would be held. Knights from all over the world came here to show their might and probably earn a place among Royal Guards. Arthur was seeing all of it. Their practice, their way of talking which contained arrogance and over confidence.

' I guess what Rhaenys Targaryen said about the knights being as green as grass was true after all.'- Arthur mumbled to himself seeing the so called knights of minor and major houses.

Then he dressed himself with the armor William gave him. The inn keeper and his wife helped him in wearing the armor. The armor was not designed well but with one look anyone could tell that it had no shortcomings.

Wearing his armor, Arthur left with his horse to the Venue. When he arrived at the venue and took part in those knights who would joust , many people started to gossip at him. It was mainly because it was only him and another one who didn't wield his house banner in his shield. Even the participated knights mocked him especially Lord Boremund. He started mocking himand ser criston cole. He mocked both of them because they didn't use banners and he started saying that they are just some bastard sons blah blah blah.

Then the time came and King Viserys announce that his wife is in labor and trying to give birth to his son Baelon Targaryen.

'Looks like everything is going according to the series.'- Arthur thought to himself before the horn rang.

The first match was between Ser Criston and a knight from the House Tarly. After he defeats him he went towards the Royal Box and bowed slightly. With this, Rhaenyra began wondering if Criston was a mystery knight but Alicent told her that he was from a minor house in Stormlands. Then the 2nd match came up. It was between Boremund Baratheon and a knight from House Lannister. Lord Boremund easily unhorsed that Lannister. He went towards the Royal Box and wanted the blessing of Rhaenys Targaryen. He called her 'the Queen who never was'. Although this comment angered her yet she gave her blessing and Viserys didn't give a shit.

Then 3rd match came up. It was between Arthur and Lord Boremund. Every people including the smallfolk and the nobles got their eyes widen . It happened because of the so called 'House Valhalla'. People started gossiping about Arthur's Valyrian traits and being it's descendants. Meanwhile, in the Royal Box , Rhaenyra and Alicent was staring at Arthur intently. It was as if they would jump like vultures and grab his helmet off to see his face. The same thing happened between the Velaryon house and Rhaenys Targaryen. They all wanted to see him. They all knew that if Arthur does have House Valhalla's blood, they need to tie him up with them. The reason was simple because House Valhalla had access to magic as well as Dragons. So they wanted his Bloodline in their future children. On the other hand, King Viserys was staring at Arthur curiously as if he is studying him. Actually, King Viserys wanted Arthur to protect his daughter and future son if he is strong. In return, he had planned that he would give Arthur his daughter's hand in marriage. In the end, all wanted to keep his bloodline in their family. As a result, they were focused mainly on this joust to see if Arthur is worthy.

Arthur and Lord Boremund started moving their house in the joust place. Arthur got his wooden lance. He started making his way to kick the Baratheon's ass. The moment of truth came along. With just one push from the lance, Arthur threw Lord Boremund from his horse. That horse also fell to the ground making Arthur the winner.

Arthur removed his helmet and showed everyone his pure silver hair, deep purple eyes which could trap someone. His face as pale as Valyrians. But his hair and eyes proved to everyone that he is actually some one from Valyrian Freehold.

Targaryen House and Velaryon House also knew from his traits that all the rumours were true and the fact that he could throw someone skilled like Lord Boremund. Astonishingly, no one spoke of his age as if it was common for a Valyrian.

Arthur moved towards the Royal Box without his helmet, showing his enchanting face.

" I have come for the blessing of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. May her blessing make me win this whole tourney."- Arthur said loudly to all the people in the venue. Hearing him, other people became silent.

Prince Daemon Targaryen was eyeing Arthur closely with a smirk on his face.' Interesting. Let's see if you can bear the pride of your house.'

Rhaenyra, on the other hand, blushed a little bit. For the past three days, she wished that Arthur would ask her for blessings. It is truly a wise statement that curiosity kills the cat. Rhaenyra not knowing herself that she fell in love with Arthur Valhalla without even seeing his face. Now that Arthur was so close to her and wanted to earn her blessings. She couldn't stop herself from rushing towards him. She had a crushing smile on her face which the people felt cute.

" May you win this whole tourney. I will pray that my blessing is always with you"- With that Rhaenyra gave him a Laurel.

Arthur took the blessing and made his way to challenge to Criston. He wanted to finish this early so that he could rush to help the Queen.

Arthur challenged ser Criston which Criston accepted easily. Soon they started moving their horse and prepared their lance to one another. Again, the same thing happened. Before Criston could even point his Lance to Arthur's body, Arthur already pushed the Lance to his stomach. In that push Arthur used all of his energy. As a result, Criston fell from his horse and Arthur stated to the public," Looks like Princess Rhaenyra made me the luckiest man by her blessings."

All kinds of cheer were heard from the crowd. Even the Targaryens started clapping their hands. Meanwhile, Lord Corlys already hired some men to start chanting Arthur's name with stating Valyria together. The public started doing the chant after some people started chanting that. Soon, the whole venue started shaking due to the chants of the crowds. Lord Otto thought that King Viserys would be angry because his people became a fan of another valyrian who could potentially destroy his kingdom. Instead, King Viserys became happy that he found his kin after a long time. He already thought to summon Arthur and make him a knight while telling him to protect Rhaenyra who would become his wife when she comes of marriageable age. While all these was happening, Rhaenyra never once took back her eyes from the figure of Arthur. When her best friend Alicent was praising Arthur, she became jealous of it and told her to not disturb her when she is busy. Alicent hearing that started chuckling while hiding her own respect and blush. Unexpectedly, she too fell in love seeing Arthur. She was filled with respect and awe when she saw his courage. He was only 1 year older than her yet he fought so dilligently. She had a crush on him so hard that she even forgot to pick her fingers and nails which she usually does until it draws blood. Apparently, she has a skin picking disorder which starts when she is nervous and sees blood .But when seeing Arthur jousting so courageously. But she could hide her feelings unlike a certain gold-silver haired princess who was not even taking her eyes off him. Meanwhile, Laena Velaryon was staring at Arthur with an absent looking eyes. She didn't knew why she couldn't take her eyes off him. While her brother Laenor Velaryon was also looking intently at Arthur. He might be looking at Arthur because he wants to be taught by him in fighting. He wanted to ask him about how to be a knight.
