ELISA SMITH

I woke up early and walked into the bathroom and took my bath. I wore a dark blue blouse with black pants and black sandals and tied my hair into a ponytail. I looked into the broken mirror and saw my face in every part. Damn I looked ugly actually I am ugly. My eyes were bloodshot red and puffy. How do grey eyes and red go? I really am ugly aren't I. I need to call a moving company to get me a truck so they can bring most of my stuff here. This basement is big enough to fit my whole house in here and even has space for the front yard. It's a mansion what do you think. I called the moving company which was able to get me a truck in an hour. I need to call in and tell them I won't be coming to work today.

I looked around the room and a white door. Hmm I haven't seen that door before. Oh right I'm not cause I've been here for only two days. I walked towards it and opened it to view the green field in Nikolai's mansion. Oh wow this is actually better I can bring my stuff through here and not go through the front door. Thankfully it was a double door which made my life even easier. Since I'm not going to work today I need to look around this huge basement and see the places everything will fit. Oh yeah and the bathroom also needs a makeover. I'm definitely going to finish all the money on my credit card today cause I need to install a new bathtub,shower, cabinet well everything in the bathroom needs to be new.

Okay I really need to build some plastic walls to split the place up so it would look more like an apartment that a dirty basement.

I walked out through the door and went straight to my house. About half an hour later I arrived and the moving truck wasn't yet here which gave me some time to pack some stuff in needed.

I walked into my room and not even a picture of me was on the table or wall actually I don't even have a picture the only picture of myself I had given to Nikolai when we were in high school since I actually thought he liked me and wasn't playing with my feelings. I remember I was smiling widely and that was my last smile I never smiled after that and now I believe he even burnt my picture since I was only a dare and he doesn't even remember me.

I walked to my nightstand and a small box stood there. I opened it and my name inscribed necklace sat inside. it has Elisandra Sean written in a curvy style but I don't understand one thing my last name is Davis but why does is say Sean instead of Davis maybe my parents bought it that's why it says Sean but I don't really get why it's made of gold if we didn't have money to pay for my education and why my Mom tried taking it away from a couple of times but that's not what I should be thinking about now I need to get my stuff ready.

I finished my unpacked stuff and called in sick which they told me to get well soon. A few minutes later the truck arrived and they took everything from bedroom to kitchen to bathroom to library what I might not come here for some time and who actually knows what's going to happen today or tomorrow.

We arrived at the mansion and they took everything in through the back door now all I have to do is change into some normal clothes and start cleaning up this place. I called one of my neighbor's who is a plumber to come and work on the bathroom.

About five hours later the basement looked much better and the bathroom was so much better with no roaches and mice running around. I had a new bed,new,dresser, wardrobe everything was new well not exactly since they came from my old house and I only had like $2000 left in my bank account and I luckily for me tomorrow is the end of the month.

I made myself some food since I won't be eating in the evening and ate.

'ring ring'

"Hello"I said picking up the phone. No one actually calls me so who is.

"Hey Elisa heard you called in sick"Ken said.

"Hey guys yeah something happened to me last night and I had to run some errands real quick"I said.

"oh well we wanted to see how you were doing and I'm sorry for what happened to you last night my brother told me"he said.

"Wait how does your brother know what happened to me and how do you know?"I asked.

"He was the guy who saved you. I'm really sorry for what happened and he Cleo told him about you when she showed him your picture he said he helped you out"He explained. So I was right he is Kendrick's brother.

"Thank your brother for me again I don't know what would have happened to me if it wasn't for him"I said.

"There's no need I hope you feel better"Cleo said.

"I am I'll see you guys tomorrow"I said.

"Kk bye"They both said disconnecting the call.

I finished my food and decided to watch some movies but another phone call stopped me.

"Hi is this Elisa Davis?"The person asked.

"Yes that's me why?"I asked.

"We called to tell you that your house has been set on fire"the person said.

"What?!"I almost yelled.

"I'll be there right away"I said disconnecting the call. How is it possible the I ever left the stove on actually the stove us here so how is it possible.

My house was burning down to ashes and there was nothing they could do. They tried quenching the fire but nothing. Why do bad things only happen to me.

"Miss Davis were sorry"One of the men from the fire department said.

"We found this here when we came and it has your name on it"He said giving me a box and I opened it to find a piece of paper in it.

Elisa I hope you liked my present the next one will hurt more than this.
