Chapter Twenty Five
Calvin kept on wondering who murdered Mildred as he drove out of Laura's place.
'Who could it be?' He thought to himself, trying to think of something, but he could not.
He heaved a sigh. "What a pain, I guess I have to go and check it out myself."
He decided to go to Mildred's apartment, maybe he would be able to find a clue there. He parked his car somewhere hidden and wore a hoodie so that nobody would know who he was.
He did not know why he cared so much about her murder but he just wanted to know who dared to murder her because of him.
He walked down her street, he was a few houses away from her apartment when he saw someone coming towards him and he recognised who it was immediately, it was no other person than his brother.
'Can my day get worse?' He muttered to himself as he got closer to his brother.
His brother stopped walking and there was a smirk on his face, "Long time no see, brother." Chad uttered.
Calvin bowed saying, "It's my pleasure to see you, brother."
"Quit the formalities, Calvin, c'mon it's not fun being so formal." Chad chuckled, tapping his shoulder lightly.
Calvin's lips curved into an impish grin, "I see, who is this mysterious girl that can make Prince Chad come to see her in disguise." Chad became alarmed and he grabbed his brother by the collar, his eyes breathing anger.
"What are you talking about, Calvin?" He said through his teeth and Calvin laughed.
"What am I saying?" Calvin Chuckled and Chad tightened his grip on him. "So there is a girl?"
"My fists are running out of patience, so you better start talking." Chad growled.
"Mom, just told me that you had an eye on a girl and you said she's different from any girl you've ever met that's all." Calvin said raising his hands in the air and Chad glared at him.
"Is that all?" Chad asked, he wanted to be sure that was only what his brother knew.
"Yes." Calvin replied plainly, and Chad let go of his shirt.
"All girls are the same there are no differences in any of them." Chad said and Calvin rolled his eyes.
"Okay." Calvin said in a plain voice.
"Sorry for my lack of manners, brother," Chad said cracking his knuckles. "But you should always mind what you say, Calvin."
Calvin started wondering why Chad would act this way just because he mentioned her. Calvin became curious and wanted to know who this girl was.
"Who is this girl? I thought you are not interested in..."
"It is better that you don't know who she is." Chad said sighing.
"I don't think this is where Princess Tiana lives and I am not sure that this girl you talk about is Tiana." Calvin smirked, he knew exactly what was going on.
Chad stared at his brother, he was not that surprised that his brother knew what was going on between him and Tiana.
"Neither do I think this is the way to the castle or your penthouse," Chad retorted with his grin wider than his brother's. "Tell me, brother, what are you doing here by this time of the day? Isn't it because you can't control your desires and you are here looking for something to lie with so that your fiery desires will quench?" Chad said with his voice dripping with mockery.
Calvin's fists folded slowly, his brother was openly insulting him.
"Don't even dare to do something rash...or have you forgotten who I am? If you haven't, don't do something you will later regret." Chad said bluntly when he noticed Calvin was getting pissed. Calvin became calm and Chad chuckled. "Good," Chad muttered, "I'd be taking my leave brother." He gave his brother's shoulder a gentle tap before he left.

"Chad is taking me out today and I am so clueless about what to wear," Tiana mumbled and Kirsten smiled.
"Don't keep your face like a worm, don't worry I will choose the perfect dress for you." Kirsten flashed a smile and tapped her on her cheeks lightly.
"I can't believe that your boyfriend is a freaking handsome prince," Rita, Tiana's friend shouted and Kirsten swat her shoulders playfully.
"Your so loud," Kirsten told her.
"Prince Chad is her boyfriend why won't I be happy and loud? He even bought her an ice cream company just because she wanted ice cream." Rita said. "How rich is he?"
"I don't know," Tiana replied shyly.
"Is he a millionaire?" Rita gasped. "Or even a billionaire? Wait, let me check it out." Rita brought her phone out and googled 'how rich prince Chad is', when she saw the results her jaw dropped to the floor. She took in a deep breath. "He is handsome, we all know that he is a prince and that's very nice, he is a billionaire...omg, I feel like crying." Tiana and Kirsten laughed at the way Rita was behaving.
"And he is the sweetest person on earth." Tiana's cheeks turned red as she thought of the way Chad holds her, she could never forget the minty taste of his tongue when she kissed him...
"Someone is in love, I can feel the love in the air, this is just like a fairytale, a prince falling in love with a princess from far away and then they live happily ever after." Rita was so excited that her friend was dating someone like Prince Chad, it meant a lot to her, and she had never seen Tiana this happy before. "Soon you will be the queen of this kingdom when you marry him and he becomes the king."
Kirsten used a brush to hit Rita, "You're going too far, they started dating just a week ago and you are talking about marriage."
"Anything is possible." Rita pouted and Kirsten chuckled. Tiana was shy, all this while she imagined what Chad would look like, and she was curious about where Chad was going to take her. "What about his brother, Prince Calvin?"
"I don't know, he doesn't talk about him much," Tiana muttered and Rita winked at her.
"Maybe you could..."
Kirsten slapped her playfully before she could say anything.
"Just keep quiet for a minute, Rita." Kirsten said and rolled her eyes.
"I just wanted to know if his brother is single so that..." Rita chewed he cheeks and Kitsten placed her hands on her hips.
"So that what?" Kirsten questioned.
"I get to know him more," Rita said grinning.
"I don't know what to wear," Tiana cried out standing in front of her wardrobe, staring at the dresses in it.
"Wear something hot and sexy so that when he sees you he would know that he got a beautiful girl," Rita suggested licking her lips and Kirsten slapped her.
"No, instead wear something beautiful and modest," Kirsten brought out a long sleeveless red gown, "something like this."
Tiana took the dress from her and tried it on immediately.
She spun around, "I love it."
"Me too, it makes you look exquisitely beautiful." Kirsten complimented smiling.
"Nope," Rita brought out a black short gown, "I think you should rather wear this, you are going on a date with a prince, and he should know how hot you are."
"What if he doesn't like her to so too much skin?" Kirsten asked Rita with her eyebrow up.
"All men like it and Prince Chad will love it, am I not right, Tiana?" Rita threw her question to Tiana who was daydreaming about Chad.
"Uhmm," Tiana mumbled.
"So you're telling me that you don't know what Prince Chad likes?" Rita asked surprised and Tiana nodded her head.
"I can't believe you, Tiana, that's the first thing you're supposed to know." Rita face palmed herself.
"No I know what he likes...he likes singing, he likes smiling..." Tiana mumbled.
"And?" Rita asked.
"Uhm, he...I..." Tiana was too shy to say something, she had never been so shy and happy in her life.
"If you continue acting this way, he would think you're a grown baby, you have to be more confident in yourself, most boys don't like shy girls," Rita said sarcastically and Kirsten swat her shoulder.
She came to Tiana and cupped her cheeks with her hands. "I don't think so, I know Chad likes you for who you are whether you're shy or not. All I can say is just be yourself, Tiana"
"Thank you..." Tiana muttered.
The doorbell rang and Tiana arranged herself, her makeup was light, her dress was beautiful, and her hair was packed into a perfect pony...she was more than ready to meet Chad.
"Is it him?" Rita whispered.
"Nope, I think it's his driver, I don't think he'll come to pick me up by himself," Tiana said with her voice slightly above a whisper.
She opened the door and Chad came inside, when he saw Tiana he paused and then he held her by the waist.
"I'm sorry that I took so long," he whispered.
