Chapter 14
Jessica walked up to me, holding my shoulder, and sat me on the bed while Alice handed me some bread and milk. "At your service, my dear sister," she said. It was clear that they were trying to act smart and get me to talk.
"So, we were thinking that we should bring your breakfast to your room," Jessica said, smiling, and Alice winked at her. "Well, thanks for that," I replied and left for the washroom to take a shower. I came back and saw the two of them going through my phone.
"What are you doing with my phone?" I asked them, and Alice quickly dropped it on the bed. "Nothing," they answered, revealing their mischievous grins. I left the towel on the bed and opened my wardrobe to pick out a dress. After some contemplation, I decided on a blue long dress, packed the rest back into the wardrobe, and sat down to eat my breakfast.
