Dumbledore

this is the longest chapter so far. 1200+ words. normally it's around 700 to 800 words. I just speed-running with the "Sirius trial". and as you all either already read or watch the Harry Potter series. and many other Fan-fic. So I am avoiding the boring description of different places and people. and to tell the truth I am really bad at describing this kind of thing.

and for the description of MC's look. I am still kinda confused myself. he will be really handsome. with some similarities with Sirius. I would actually like to ask for some advice in this area. please comment here if you can suggest some idea.

Chapter: 7

After two days an owl came. Informing me about the arrangement of the meeting with the Head of DMLE. It was scheduled for the next day, in the afternoon.

So, the next day in the afternoon we went to the ministry for the meeting. She was really a strict witch with an upright and professional attitude. But every time there is a mention of death eaters in our talk her eyes become extra hard. Though it's understandable as her whole family was killed by them except for her and Susan.

But after promising to support. any punishment the trial deemed appropriate for Sirius Black. if he is proven guilty. She agreed to support the idea of a fair trial for him. So, the meeting ended on a good note.

So now is the time to wait for the meeting with Dumbledore. And I got another owl the day after the meeting with Amelia Bones. And it seems Dumbledore was really surprised by the news about Sirius having a child. And it seems he is really eager to meet me.

Probably to make sure I don't become another pawn for Voldy-egg. I am actually nervous about this meeting. Because I am not sure if Dumbledore here is a really good person or like some of the fan-fic. Like for the sake of the greater good villain. I have to be careful with him. But as he was a busy man. The meeting was scheduled for next Sunday, which is after four days.

In the meantime, I and Leo were busy. With understanding matters for the black family and business. We also made some investments in the muggle side. With the help of the goblin.

And with all the work the time flies by pretty quickly. And today is the day Dumbledore will come to meet us at lunch. Today I will find out. If this Dumbledore is really a good old grandfather who has a lot of regrets of the past. Or a manipulative old bastard Dum-bul-dork.

I made sure to make a heavy shield around my mind. And put the memory of the orphanage and some fake memories in the front. So, If Dumbledore tries to use passive legilimency he will see only those and won't be able to find about the shield. And with all the preparation done. I asked Kreacher to prepare some good food for lunch.

And at 12:30 Kreacher informs me that Dumbledore has arrived. And waiting in front of the house. So, I asked him to welcome him in the parlour room.

Leo and I are waiting in the parlour room standing to receive our guest. And after some time Kreacher entered the room with Dumbledore. And from his look, he seems to be quite curious about how Kreacher is dressed.

"It is an honor to finally meet you, Mr. Dumbledore. My name is Leo Henbark. I am the guardian of Alen Black here." Leo welcomed Dumbledore and introduced himself while shaking hands with Dumbledore.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too Mr. Henbark and Mr. Black" Dumbledore with a grandfatherly smile.

"Please sit Mr. Dumbledore." Leo offered to sit and we all sat down on the sofa we sat opposite facing Dumbledore. And Kreacher served us tea. And we each took a seep from our cop before starting to talk.

Third-person POV:

"Your house-elf looks quite good. It's nice to see them being treated nicely." Dumbledore said with a happy smile. While thinking. (From the treatment of their house elf. I can understand they are not like the other members of the black family or even other pureblood wizards. I was quite surprised to see a house-elf dressed so nicely. So, I started with this topic to grasp their characters. After all, I had no idea Sirius Black had a son. Or better yet, when did he get married. And if I am not mistaken then Alen is the same age as Harry. Maybe a few months older.)

"Yes, even though Alen learned about the magical culture and custom from me. But he grew up on the muggle side. So, he is still quite unfamiliar with the magic side. And his moral value heavily sympathizes with muggles. So, treating the house elf like other wizards doesn't suit him. And If you ask me I personally don't like the way they are treated. So, we are trying to change that in this house. It's not like we can change others' way of thinking. But I think it's a good start." Leo

"That is very good to hear. I personally think we wizards should adopt some of the muggle's values. It could make our society more peaceful." Dumbledore said and smiled happily. (This is a good start. I don't feel any lie there. Maybe with them the Black family will head in the right direction.)

"Ok then, from what I can guess. Sirius must have wanted to hide Alen from the wizarding world. at the time of the war. As we were unaware of his existence up until a few days ago. I will not lie I was curious about you. But I am more curious why you guys wanted to meet me." Dumbledore asked truthfully.

(So far so good. He doesn't seem like a bustard Dumbledore from some of the fan-fic. Just a curious and worried old man. But I can't be sure just by this. Better keep my guard up.) "Yes, it was as you have said. He wanted me to stay far away from the war. Now, for the reason I wanted to meet you Is that. at first, we thought my father had died in the war. But after looking at it just to be sure. We found him to be still alive and currently being locked up in Azkaban. For the crime of betrayal. But after trying to find any conclusive evidence. It's reviled that he never got a fair trial. I am not saying he is innocent. As I also have no proof of his guilt or innocence. But I do want to know why he didn't get any trial. As you are the chief warlock. As his son, I think I at least deserve to know the truth. And I like to request a fair trial. If he is proven guilty, I have nothing against the law punishing a criminal" Alen thought and asked.

"You are really wise for your age. Yes, what you said is true your father never got a trial. But it was out of my hand. As I also like for him to have a trial. I would like to know what really happen that night too. It was Barty Crouch Snr who sentence Sirius. After Aurors arrested Sirius at the scene of the crime.
