54 54. Sinister Plot

As Harry went down to the common room, he found that everybody was supporting a determined expression on their faces. Looking at Harry, everyone greeted him with a smile making him even more confused.

Finding Hermione and others, Harry asked, " Hey guys. Goodmorning. What happened here?"

"You happened, Harry. It's the effect of your words last night." Terry said clapping Harry's back.

Harry smiled at the answer. " Looks like I can make a career as a motivational speaker, if nothing else works for me." He joked, making them roll their eyes at him.

Together with some of the upper years, they went to have their breakfast.

"We have History of magic with puffs and double Charms with snakes today. I'm very much looking forward to Charms, I heard Professor Flitwick teaches it." Morag said excitedly.

" I couldn't sleep much last night because I was feeling too motivated. You guys are really lucky to have History first. You will be able to complete your sleep." Cho Chang, future girlfriend of Sparkle-man, said enviously.

"Is history really that bad? I heard it from others too that professor Bins is a ghost who only drones about goblin rebellions." Michael asked looking at other second years only to get a consolation pat on his back.

"I was very excited for Hogwarts, everybody said that it's the best school in the world. But after coming here, I'm really disappointed with the quality of education here." lisa said shaking her head.

Listening to everyone, Daphne looked towards Harry gratefully. She felt herself fortunate to be able to be trusted by Harry, otherwise she too would have been like others, or even worse.

They all went towards their class together with Susan and others. Reaching the class they sat at the back of the class. Harry sat in the middle and Daphne and Hermione sat on both sides. Susan sat in the middle of Hermione and Hannah.

"Here, take it and don't spread it too much." Harry gave Daphne and Hermione the notes that Vorn wrote.

"Harry, can I share it with Susan?" Hermione asked in a low voice after reading a few pages.

"Only if she promises to keep it a secret from everyone. Even from Hannah." Harry said. He was not worried that it would spread as it was written by Vorn so if anyone else tried to read it they would not find anything useful. And if Susan herself shares it, then the words will vanish automatically.

'It will also let me judge her character.' Harry thought.

History was really boring and even the information that binns was teaching was wrong. Harry understood that wizards have written the history in a way that will make them look good.

Harry had written both, the true history and the fake history, in his notes, which somehow made it an even more interesting read.

After HOM they had double Charms with Slytherin. They again sat at the very last. Harry could see Draco planning something with his boyfriends, his smirk and demeanor was screaming a plot.

'ah so that's what he is planning.' Harry used skill : observe and legilimency to know his plan. They had planned to cast a curse that would make someone empty their bladder immediately and they had planned to cast it on Hermione and Daphne together with Harry.

'So even Theodore Nott is involved, this guy is much more cunning than he shows outside. He is someone who uses others hands to murder someone.' Apparently it was Nott jr. who gave this idea to Draco and it was also him who taught them the spell.

Harry immediately used his skill: observe on Nott jr. and found that he was much more dangerous than he thought. He already had a rudimentary Occlumency shield as well as an Occlumency ring. 'He knows that Malfoy has gryffindorish tendencies so he searched for ways to harm both me and Draco.' Nott jr. was jealous of Draco because his father didn't spoil him like Lucius does to Draco.

Harry found that Nott jr. had additional plans that when Harry will piss in his pants in front of everyone, he will use a spare wand to cast a spell on three of them that will make them want to sniff the smell of piss.

" What a sinister plot. His family is also much more darker than Malfoys. Nott jr. at least knows that his father is involved in kidnapping of muggle girls and selling them to others like Malfoys.

Too bad for you both, I'm not someone who gives second chances to those who try to harm me or mine. I will make you regret the moment you decided you mess with me.'

Professor Flitwick took a roll call before teaching students the basics of Charms. Harry had already taught Hermione and Daphne these things, so he started teaching them various household charms.

"Many neglect the usefulness of these nifty spells. By using these spells not only you can make your life very comfortable and systematic, you can also save a lot of time. Make sure to incorporate these spells in your daily lives." Harry whispered.

After their class ended Harry dragged Hermione and Daphne towards Professor Flitwick.

"Professor Flitwick, We have some doubts about a spell, could you give us some time right now." Harry said respectfully while secretly pointing towards the Slytherin gang who were waiting outside. Professor Flitwick immediately understood and nodded his head.

" Of course Mr. Potter. let's go to my office, we will discuss there." The three of them followed Flitwick to his office, making Draco scowl and leave with his boyfriends.

Seeing that he had one free hour, Harry decided to be productive.

" Professor, do our marks from earlier years matter or only OWLs and NEWTs results are truly important? " Harry asked while both the girls perked up and listened to the conversation silently.

" Harry, don't tell this to other students but actually only your OWLs and NEWTs results matter in the long run. But there is a catch here, your school can expel you if you fail or they can make you repeat your year." Flitwick explained.

" Sir, As much as I know, Ministry officials from the Department of Education conduct OWLs and NEWTs exams in Hogwarts. Can we go to the Ministry and take in the exams earlier like say I want to give my OWLs in second year, then is it possible?"

" Theoretically, it is possible but without sufficient background and political clout, it is impossible. The ministry does not want students to know too much or be too capable." Flitwick said in a sad tone.

Seeing Flitwick's bitter expression and Harry's frowning expression, Hermione and Daphne deeply felt the maliciousness of the world.
