32 32. Apparition

I slowly opened my eyes and looked at the fading multi colored cocoon that had enveloped me during the ritual.

"Harry! son are you okay? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere? " Mom asked, concerned. but instead of answering her, I first chose to accept the system's reward.

"System, distribute the rewards. "

[Ding! Distributing the 1000 times positive results.]

With the system's voice, I felt massive changes taking place both inside and outside my body. I also got enlightened on what powers I gained and how to completely control them.

I was so excited that I felt like doing a victory dance but the ongoing changes and mom's startled cry stopped me from doing those embarrassing acts.

"Harry! what is happening to you? answer me." I could hear mom's strained voice calling to me and I knew this is all because of the new changes happening to me.

The moment I felt that there were no more changes happening, I immediately controlled my new powers which was very easy for me.

"Harry!" mom's shout startled me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah mom. Sorry. It seems there are much more positive changes that happened to me." I placated her and then we took stock of all the abilities I gained.

First, my looks- Even without using any aura, my looks are that of a young prince. I looked cuter, sweeter... Well just know that I look better than any other 11 year old boy out there and according to mom, I'll surely be a lady killer with my looks in the future.

Next my voice- Even I myself felt that I should continue to speak let alone mom. My voice now has some sort of magnetic pull that makes people crave to listen to it. That just gave me a new idea to earn loads of money.

then my passive aura- All I can say is, it's effects have increased a lot. Now I can actively control the intensity of my aura and at the highest intensity every body would want to just cling to me.

Except for these, I also gained a deeper understanding of rituals, as well as a new ability. Me and mom decided to name it 'Emotions inducement' but it was basically emotional manipulation.

It makes me aware of the emotions and feelings someone has and induce any kind of new emotions or feelings in anyone. Or I can just simply suppress any and all emotions in people present around me. There are obviously some limits, I can not suppress or manipulate someone's strong feelings. like: I can't make Voldemort love muggles, Snape like father, Ron hate food, Dora like her name, mom hate me etc.

These changes not only surprised mom but also me.

"Harry. These are some terrifying powers. I want you to use them reasonably and responsibly. I want you to think at least 10 times before using these powers on anyone." This was the first time I had seen mom being so serious and stern. And I could understand where she was coming from. These are dangerous powers, and power corrupts.

"I promise you mom. I will never use my powers to harm someone innocent. I will try to make sure that while benefiting from these powers I do not harm anyone."

"This is what I expect from my son. One more thing, destroy the books that contain the knowledge related to this ritual."

"Okay mom. I will destroy them." only after this promise mom calmed down. Quickly getting myself dressed properly, I put mom's portrait back in the trunk and exited the ritual chamber.

Reaching Bogrod's office, I found it empty. Enquiring about it, I learned that Bogrod has gone to some other gringotts branches and will not be back till evening. With the mindset of not wasting any time, I went to the place where I used to train.

"Alfred, let's start the training."

I practiced and observed space magic for the next 4 hours continuously while claiming system's reward in between. It didn't help me much as it would take at least one year of training on my part to gain minimal proficiency in it.

But it doesn't mean that I did not gain anything. I learned to apparate using my rudimentary understanding of space and by doing so instead of just using it like a spell, I was able to correct the flaws that wizards face during apparition.

Which means a very comfortable, noiseless and wandless apparition which can ignore most anti-apparition measures. I was jubilant after understanding its benefits as now I won't have to rely on Alfred every time. The only downside of my modified apparition is that, one must know and have seen the location they want to apparate.

After all this there was still some time left so I decided to do one more experiment.

"Alfred, go to my room and look for a trunk. It is a normal brown colored school trunk with my initials on it. Empty the trunk and bring it here."

I did not have to wait for long before he brought my trunk. It was a simple trunk without anything special about it. I started practicing undetectable extension charm with my understanding of space magic. After 2 more hours of hard work and practice, I was finally able to make it have a space of a football field with a height where I can even practice Quidditch.. I could have further expanded it but I deemed that unnecessary instead, I further strengthened the space to be able to stay intact even if impacted by strong magical and physical attacks.

I did think about making a villa but then realised that I have never studied architecture or designing, so left it like that as a future project. I don't want my place to look like the burrow or gringotts where it seems like the structure will fall apart any moment.
