21 21. 5 days to go

"Hey Hermione!! "I directly appeared inside her home as Emma had told me to.

"Harry!! " and here is the famous Granger hug. Some habits can't be changed. My coming into her life has done wonders to her. She is no longer insecure about not having friends, or always trying to prove herself. Her hairs now are tamed and her front large teeth shrunk( Emma and Dan's expression was hilarious). Now, I did not tell her to hide her brilliance but she will not be bouncing at every question like usual.

"so where are Dan and Emma? " I said looking around as generally at least one of them stays behind to take care of her.

"Both of them had prior appointments with their patients today."

"Okay. Lets complete your Occlumency training first." I have to say, I'm impressed by the speed and efficiency she is building her mind's defense.

She is already a genius in mind arts , one can tell this by the way she had arranged her mindscape, but not having any knowledge of Occlumency, it made her even more vulnerable to legilimens.

Now with her talent, my more than 100 years of experience and excellent teaching ( long live the system) and me personally helping her by using legilimency, she is at least 10 times faster than anyone else at it.

"Now what do you want to learn today? " I asked her after finishing her Occlumency training.

"Harry, can you please tell me more about the wizarding world.." She asked looking at me expectantly.

"Hmm.. Okay tell me What you want to know about? " I asked her.

"Tell me about what I should pay attention to, what I should avoid, what I should ignore, who can be trusted and most importantly tell me about us from your future's vision."

"Well.. In our first year, you should try to avoid looking in the teacher's eyes and especially not be alone with Quirrell, Dumbledore and Snape.

As for other things, it is entirely up to you. That will be your judgement. Don't worry about making mistakes, I will be there for you."

"Okay.." She said happily. "Now tell me about us."

"About us-" "wait" She said interrupting me, before she came and sat cuddling into me. "Okay.. Now start. "

"You know some of the most important things about us from that memory I showed you.. . " I told her about some normal movements. Like the time in my second year, when the whole school was against me only she and ron were with me and when I received a broom from sirius but she told McGonagall and we she turned into a catgirl etc.

Like this we sat, we talked and we laughed... It also helped me somewhat. Yesterday with my mother and then today with Hermione, I finally felt a little less lonely.

We were interrupted by Dan and Emma's arrival after which I again experienced the famous Granger hug from Emma.

"Dan, Emma... can you cancel all your appointments for the next few days? Time is very precious for us right now and many things need to be done."

"Don't worry, Harry. We had already decided to clear all our time for these few days. Just tell us what we need to do."

"Okay. I'll be going now. Let's meet tomorrow."

Bidding them farewell, I went directly to my room and then inside the trunk.

"Hey mom, I'm back."

"Welcome home, dear.. How was your day?" said mom lovingly.

"It was fantastic mom. I have finally decided on a way to earn galleons."

"Oh tell me about it."

"The Goblins were finally able to come into an agreement with Randolph Spudmore. He is the man behind one of the best Quidditch brooms to be made in the near future. other than that I have also decided to start forging those items used for mind's defense."

"Harry, only goblins have the method to imbue metals with properties. Moreover it is not something you can learn in just a few days."

"Hehe, you are underestimating me mom. Didn't I tell you about my deal with goblins.

By the way did you find any ritual suitable for me and Hermione.? "

"No. All require a very high price to be paid." she said shaking her head.

"What price? "

"Not something I would ever allow you to pay." mom said with finality.

"Sigh.. mom, there are some things I can't tell you about. Just know that I am not a normal person. I have secrets that I can't tell anyone about, but you have to have trust in me.. I will not do anything that will be harmful to me or mine.

If you still keep things away from me and treat me as a normal child, things will become very awkward between us.

I'm not telling you to not care about me. I feel loved and blessed to have you with me. and I will always be your baby Harry.

But I want you to believe me when I say that I want something or can do something." I said carefully but firmly. I don't want to hurt her but it is not something I can compromise with..
