11. Fleecing (ii)

Hey guys!

Guess what, I got my first negative review in the last chapter. At first I thought about asking him what he/she found idiotic there but then decided to just leave it like that. It shows that my work is garnering attention. Not everyone is gonna like this story and not everyone is gonna be nice about it. If someone genuinely makes suggestions or points out where I went wrong, I will seriously consider those. Haters are gonna hate and I just can't take them seriously.

"Lord Potter, is it true that you can just go inside any of our vaults, whenever you want, without being detected." Rognuk asked with a sense of urgency in his voice.

"oh Rognuk. Hi, we meet again. Hmm, why are you panting. come sit. Bogrod, what are you doing! help your manager with a glass of water, look how flustered he seems to be."

"Lord Potter.. My lord, oh great sir, please.. I beg you. Don't play with me. Tell me, it is really true." He was just short of going on his knees by now. I finally felt satisfied. I did not forget how rude they were to me at first and how they had tried to ignore my complaints. I am a very vindictive person, I hold grudges for the pettiest matters.

"Yeah, I can indeed do it." I replied nonchalantly.

"What will it take for you to not do it at Gringotts." I asked directly, by now understanding my nature somewhat.

"Oh, that is a very heavy demand Rognuk. Are you talking about just your branch or all the branches of Gringotts? " I asked with a grin.

Rognuk just started spitting curses and vulgarities in the goblin tongue, understanding the implications behind my word.

After taking a deep breath to calm himself, Rognuk said"Please state your condition for you to not do it, and maybe sometimes help us with vaults that are long abandoned because of their owner's death but can't be opened because of security measures."

"Goblins will owe me 1 favour every month even if it goes against your laws,

and in case I help you, I want 50% of the vault content with priority selection."

Seeing my look that clearly said I'm not ready to negotiate, he reluctantly agreed. And so we signed one more contract, After which he finally left.

"Bogrod, schedule a meeting with a reporter named Rita Skeeter. Tell her that a rich VIP client wants to do business with her. Arrange an open room with anti-animagus wards for the meeting."

"Okay Lord Potter, but to prepare the room necessary, it will take about 2 hours.

I first wandered along the alley looking at all the different shops, looking at shops and establishments I would want to visit someday.

After some time, I went to Flourish and Blotts. Entering inside, I made a way towards the shop attendant who was a beautiful young girl of about 16-17 years.

"Hello miss,"

"Oh hello little sir, how can I help you" She asked smiling.

"I'm searching for a book but I don't know its name or its author. I can only recognize it after reading the first page of its content. Am I allowed to do that? I asked making a cute nervous expression.

" It's okay. Help yourself cutie." She chuckled Good-naturedly.

I read book after book with system's help and was so focused that I lost all track of time until somebody bumped hard into me. I was able to keep myself from falling only because of today's morning exercise.

"Ouch.. " cried a young female voice.

"Are you alright? " I asked as I hurriedly helped the girl. Taking a careful look at her face I was stunned. In front of me stood a young girl in casual jeans and top, brown hairs curly towards the end, and somewhat large two front teeth.

I already have an idea who she might be but she just did not look like emma Watson. She is much more cute and beautiful. And no, I'm not just lusting after her and it really has nothing to do with my harem fantasy.

In my honest opinion Hermione Granger is a flawed character. She is also somewhat similar to the original harry in that she craves for friendship and love. So much so that, she let herself be used by Harry and Ron for their studies and other work.

I will only be her friend if she corrects some of her character flaws otherwise it will be more of a hassle.

"I am sorry, I was not paying attention to my surroundings." She says nervously.

"It's okay, but are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere? " I asked genuinely concerned while using my Skill- observe to confirm my guess.
