Reaper Of The Ancient Legacies
PLEASE READ BEFORE CHAPTER ONE
At a small and tender age, Atlas had been exposed to all sort of unkind treatment from people, peers, nobles and even as far as his distant relatives, all because of their poverty and the infamous reputation of his father, a General in the army, who was said to had betrayed the authorities and soldiers during an important battle, resulting in a huge loss. He was therefore executed and his family was deprived of certain rights and forced to live in poverty.
Atlas mother on the other hand strongly believed in the innocence of her late husband but people thought otherwise. This lifestyle forced atlas to lack basic things that his friends had... Education!
Instead, he had to help his mother to make ends meet, and did several kinds of job like basic hunting, cleaning, carrying loads for strangers, and so on. You can say that he was quite hardworking.
This has been his usual lifestyle routine until fate caught up with him! He was at the woods hunting small animals as usual, when he noticed a shiny glow from under his feet. Alarmed, he inspected it before picking up the small crystal ring covered in dirt. It's light suddenly glowed brighter as if it had just found it's source.
Suddenly, something strange happened. The ring automatically was worn on his index finger, and it's light engulfed him and his body absorbed it all. He could feel his body changing, and his height increasing. This process left him in excruciating pains.
After a minute or so, he felt his excited soul transmigrating to another world. Yh... Another world not body. The world of MAGIC! Simultaneously, he heard a voice.
"Congratulations new user! You have been chosen as the Reaper Of The Ancient Legacies! You are about to transmigrate into a world where you can be strong as you like, fulfil your dreams, and most importantly, avenge your past life, through magic!"
And just as the statement ended, without giving Atlas a chance to react, his soul left him. In other words, his physical body DIED!
Atlas lifeless body was seen by other hunters, who reported the case to the nearby police station, and his body was admitted to the hospital, without knowing what happened to him, and hence, the doctor's just assumed he was in coma and abandoned his body in a small room in the police station confined with some hospital equipments, when they found out whose son he was.
His mother on the other hand was so heartbroken and hoped that her son comes back to her soon.
