An Empire Is Born

After Max read the message that had appeared, the system has activated which meant that it hadn't been activated until now.

He was now excited to see what the activated system would offer.

As the system activated, a screen popped up in front of Max and the system said "The host will start his journey in creating a new civilization and a new empire in this world but the first step to this will be creating a city and ruling as its leader. The host has also been informed that the system although inspired by the dominations game played by the host is not the same as the system, thus any action taken by the host-based on that assumption will be entirely up to the host.

But also recognizing that the host has never had a leadership role and thus has no experience for such type of role. An A.I assistant will be granted to the host that will act as the advisor.

The advisor has been picked after searching throughout history and their personalities have been created the same as their real-life counterpart through machine and data learning.

The options given to host are-

1) Olympias- One of the most unknown figures from the tales of Alexander the Great, she was the mother of Alexander and is largely credited with holding the empire together when her son was of conquering. She is also said to have assassinated her husband and her stepsons, thus she could prove to be an incredible ally or a dangerous snake.

2) Yelu Chucai- Amongst the closest advisors to Genghis Khan, Yelu was trusted immensely by both Genghis Khan and his successor even though they firmly opposed the ideas proposed by him, one of the main reason Yelu was trusted so much was because he created the immense tax system and governance models that allowed the Mongols to control so much territory, but the downside to him is the fact that is often too merciful and is unwilling to take harsh actions even when necessary.

3) Charles Maurice De Talleyrand-Perigord- Charles served as the Minister of Foreign Relations under Napoleon, he managed to cut deals with Austria and Russia not once but twice to keep Napoleon in power even when he had been exiled and this was even though Napoleon made diplomatic relations almost impossible by acting terribly towards other heads of state, Charles is thought to have been maybe the greatest diplomat ever in history, but this comes with a shortcoming that he is also a very selfish man who will always look for his benefit first, after all, he once said: "Regimes may fall and fail, but I do not."

4) Theodora- Theodora served as both the queen and the chief advisor to Justinian in the Byzantine empire, she is often cited as one of the main reasons that Justinian despite just being a poor farmer could successfully keep his power as king, Theodora was an actress and an escort before marrying Justinian, she kept the power of the nobles balanced and kept the government stable despite Justinian's lack of experience, however, she is also very traditional advisor who resisted change frequently and also is a religious extremist.

5) Chanakya- Chanakya was a teacher, philosopher, economist, jurist and royal advisor to the king Chandragupta, he is often regarded as being the founder of both economics and political science, he has also been largely credited for the Maurya Empire, he also considered a teacher at least equal if not superior to Aristotle, to the extent that the king Chandragupta was just a common boy who was picked up by Chanakya and he educated him to the extent that he created the empire that even the Alexander the Great did not dare invade, note-recommended for first-time host.

Note-Warning to the host, the advisors will be loyal to the host for 20 days after that they will have free will and act however they want according to their original characters and personalities, and the system will have no command or control over them or their actions (excluding special circumstances).

The sheer amount of information presented to Max was staggering, he took a while to get through all of it.

After understanding the options that were presented to him he realized that this was the most important decision he would make since this would lay the foundation of his entire civilizations.

At first, Max was thinking with his dick and strongly contemplating picking Olympias after he had read the tales of her beauty but after thinking with his brain he rejected that idea, it was not because he thought she would be useful serving only as an object to be fucked but rather because he was deeply sacred of her, after all, a woman who could assassinate the king, his wife, and his sons and proclaim the assassin as a hero in public to the extent of placing the sword he used in the temple of Apollo to be worshiped was a woman to be feared after he had no delusions about his capabilities he knew that she would chew him up and spit him out in hours.

He also rejected Charles since he did need diplomats but Charles was just too self-serving for him, he also rejected Theodora since she would be entirely useless to him now because there were no nobles to maintain or people to control.

At last Max had to choose between Yelu or Chanakya, ultimately he chooses Chanakya since he just had way more talents than Yelu and he was also recommended by the system.

Thus, Max selected Chanakya and pressed the confirm button.

A white light beamed across the sky a middle-aged man appeared out of it.

The man was middle-aged, with bald head except for a ponytail, his eyes looked very sharp like someone who had years of experience.

"Welcome Mr. Chanakya, I am your lord and king Max, it is very nice to meet you"

Chanakya looked Max from up to down and replied

"You are not a king yet but rather just a boy, you will become a king when your education on

Arthashastra* is complete until then you are not my king but rather my student and therefore you shall address me as Guru* from here on now, do you understand"

Listening to what Chanakya had said Max was stunned, he had expected him to be like an NPC obediently listening to the orders of Max, and doing whatever he told him. However it seemed like he possessed the character of his historical self.

He was also surprised by what Chanakya had said, after all, what he had said could be seen as an insult but Max was not a child but rather a mature man, he also realized that what Chanakya had said were not mere arrogance but rather he does possess the ability to back them up after all one of them was a royal advisor singularly responsible for creating one the greatest empire and the other a young boy who got run over by a truck and got a system by luck.

Thus Max decided to see what Chanakya had to teach him, so he replied

"Yes, Guru"

"Good" replied Chanakya

"Let's go in, we shall continue our discussion inside," said Max

As both of them walked in Max checked out the interior of the building, it seemed that the city center was very minimalistic, kit had two rooms and a hall, one looked like a chamber or a bedroom likely provided for Chanakya (it seemed like the system was not that cruel after all, after all, how would he explain his existence to his family if he had to bring him back to Winterfell) the other looked like an office likely for Max's use and the Hall had a table and two chairs to act as a meeting room.

As soon Max saw the bedroom he rushed with the quickness that even surprised Chanakya, he quickly opened the bedroom door and looked around the thing he was looking for alas it was there a bathroom, the joy Max felt was indescribable at that time finally he would get to enjoy the wonders of modern plumbing.

After some 20 minutes Max returned to the hall, where Chanakya was waiting patiently.

"OK, let's continue," said Max

And thus Max and Chanakya started laying the foundation of their empire
