Bye, my friend

Evening... 

*turns pages* 

[Dear esteemed people. The library doors will close in ten minutes. Please prepare your belongings and prepare to leave soon] 

"Hmm? "Alexa raised her head from her book. She closed it, then got up from the chair she was sitting on, and then went to the librarian's office after taking the pile of books that she had been reading a while ago

" here! I want to borrow these books "

"Membership card please~" The librarian said cheerfully to the familiar little girl in front of her

Alexandra took a card out of her pocket and handed it to the librarian. She checked the card and gestured to return it to Alexa. She said to her with a smile"Now let's see the books you borrowed and... wtf?!" 

"Woaah did you just curse?! " 

"I'm sorry! That was accidental!" The librarian covered her mouth with a horrified look on her face as if she had just broken a sacred law 

Alexa waved her hand in understanding as if to say "Nah it's okay" 

"But..." the librarian murmured. She picked up one of the books in front of her and said "These Programming books are too difficult even for college students, my dear. Are you sure you want to borrow this?" 

"Yes yes, I'm fine. Can you please register for the books before the library doors close?" 

"Oh right! I'll do that in a moment! Make sure you return the books in one piece, okay?" 

"fine!" 

... 

After Alexa left the library, she did not return home. Her destination was somewhere else

And after a lot of walking she sighed.looked around cautiously as she arrived near a dark alley that was familiar to her. She quickly passed through it and continued walking until she finally reached her destination 

She cheered happily "I'm back!" Then she put the bag containing the books aside and sat next to the old wall that she had visited several times for nearly two months

She took out a large piece of cloth from her bag and then spread it on the ground to lie on it. She took a book and placed it in front of her to begin reading it and turning the pages with one hand while her other hand was inside that small hole

And she soon felt a large palm gently holding her hand, That made her hum happily . she said "You really like doing that heeh~~? hahaha" 

*Click* 

"Hmm yes, kind of... oh yeah! I have an idea! Can I go around at this building to look for a door I can enter through?? Maybe I'll be able to see you then!" 

Alexa was so excited about the idea that she almost got up right away and started searching. But the hand that was holding hers stopped her 

This caused a small layer of skin on Alexa's arm to peel off as it came into contact with the edges of the small hole in the wall "Ouch" She hissed in pain. She soon felt the tension on her arm loosen 

She quickly took her hand out to see the extent of the damage, only to find that it was a superficial wound and not that deep, but it was still very painful nonetheless. She sighed and then said"I see you don't support that idea, right? Well, that's okay" 

*silence* 

"gone" Alexa thought slightly sadly.She didn't know how she knew that, even though she couldn't see the other side behind the wall. She just felt it in some way 

After some time of reading, she closed her book"I should have brought a flashlight" she thought "The lighting here is so bad" 

She was about to get up but suddenly, she felt a slight poke. She looked towards where she felt the poke to see a small piece of paper rolled up next to her 

She picked up the paper and then opened it to see. It was just one word, written in large, clear letters "Sorry" 

Alexandra's eyes widened for a moment. She looked towards the wall, a smile appearing on her face. She said, "So that's why you left? I thought you'd finally had enough of bothering me, hehe~~... But... I accept your apology. The fact that my hand was damaged wasn't entirely your fault anyway!" 

What Alexa didn't know was that whoever was on the other end of that old wall was genuinely smiling just because he heard her cheerful voice again

... 

The days go by quickly... 

"Neh neh look at this! I just found a rare copy of a book lying in a random place and no one took it! I'm lucky today, Tahehehe~~!" 

. 

"I'm back, Woohoo! Today, without any reason, I will tell you a story that will never end called One Piece! Let's begin!!" 

. 

"You won't believe this! I have achieved the highest average in school, which exceeds the standards, and maybe I will be given the opportunity to skip classes and get a direct scholarship to university! I will be the youngest university student woohoo!!!" 

. 

"Ugh my eyes have become black from studying too much.Applying to university is no joke hmph" 

. 

"Naah I swear, university is boring. I was expecting more stuff like that. Anyway, do you know what Harry Potter is?" 

. 

"Do you know? My boring family that has been ignoring me for a long time is noisy now! They fight all the time ahaha..haha... ha.." 

. 

"Shih ..an annoying family..they could give a little love to their little dughter but..they don't..." 

. 

"Sigh...I'm tired but.. I really can't believe how your hand can give me this comfort and strange warmth... always"  

... 

A whole month has passed. A month in which Alexa was busy as hell. Her skin became pale from fatigue, and the dark circles under her eyes became more prominent than before 

Alexa held her sore temple. She put the flashlight and the university book in her hand aside, then lay down on her mattress 

She thought with a deep sigh "Come on, Alexa.. Another hour of studying and we'll be done.. I have to get the highest grade for this year in order to get the full free scholarship... I have to do that" 

*clatter* 

*clatter* 

*Crash!* 

"What's going on over there?" She asked in surprise after she got up "Is it possible that this is another quarrel again?" 

*footsteps sound* 

*squeak~* 

The girl in the closet hissed at the bright light that suddenly covered her vision as soon as the door was opened 

She inquired with a frown "What's going on?" 

In front of her, her older brother Anthony stood. He bit his lower lip hard and said angrily, "Everything that happened... all of this... was because of you!" 

"W.. what?? " 

"Come here!" He violently pulled it out of her hand 

... 

"Run "

"Dammit where did you go?!" 

"Run"

"Just wait until I get my hands on you!" 

"Run, girl..."  Alexa ran as fast as she could, trying to escape from the villain chasing her 

She has suffered a lot of beating these days from her older brother. Why? He was severely reprimanded because his 'useless sister' was making better progress than him, which made him explode with anger 

But today was particularly intense, forcing Alexa to quickly escape... he... he could really kill her if he continued like this... 

She ran more and more.. She didn't even have time to catch her breath. She knew that she was out of that Anthony's sight, but she still ran wherever her feet went 

She didn't know how long she had been running. She was incredibly tired. She quickly tripped on a rock, causing it to hit the ground hard.this caused her to get more injuries 

"Aghhhh!!" she screamed in pain. She quickly covered her mouth 

And she thought "There is no one walking in the streets this late at night so I have to rely on someone competent.is better find a polic before that bastard catches me. I have to get up first " 

Suddenly, when she tried to get up, she felt a strange, warm liquid flowing from her head to her face. It was blood coming out of the wound caused by the fall

She bit her lower lip hard and tried to hold back her tears. She got up slowly, enduring the pain, then continued walking because she couldn't really run now but... she was feeling very dizzy, so she couldn't see well around her 

"where am I?" She wondered, but she continued to walk wherever her feet led her nonetheless 

Unfortunately for her, the person she could barely escape found her again. He slowly crept up behind her when she was not paying attention, landing hard on her back, causing her to gasp and fall hard again. The worst thing was that her head hit a nearby wall hard, opening another bleeding wound 

She muttered "That damned son of a bitch is..." she was unable to complete her words because she became semi-conscious

"Bye bye you bitch!" Anthony spat on the ground, then gave the girl in front of him one last kick that caused her to faint 

He bit his tongue, then took a cigarette out of his pocket and lit it. he looked around then cursed and said "Where the hell am I? This place looks really ominous. I'm coming back" He left without even taking a last look at the collapsed girl behind him 

... 

"This painful..." 

. 

"This really hurts" 

. 

"I...I don't want to die again" 

. 

"What did I do to deserve this?" 

. 

"This warm liquid running down my cheeks...tears?" 

. 

"No... Alexandra, you are a grown girl... you shouldn't cry. You've been through worse, right? " 

. 

"I feel lonely...  "  

. 

"I wish for once... I want to find someone who understands me... " 

. 

"What? Who does this sudden warmth come from?... This hand that wipes my tears... Oh...this.. is just my silly friend. I can rest a little now... right?" 

. 

Once he wiped away her tears, the fainted girl smiled, only to rest her head more in his warm embrace that gave her comfort

He sat in a dark corner with no light reaching it...and while he gently patted the head of the girl in his arms , his white pupils  sparkled in the darkness... those white pupils were overflowing with immense anger, and there was only one action that could calm that anger... 

Soon a laugh echoed in the dark room, it was the sound of a child's laughter, but it was very scary nonetheless 

... 

*rain fall* 

"He's gone forever" Alexa thought as she looked from a close distance at the grave around which some flowers were placed 

She looked at the left to see that her father and her mother were silently watching the grave. Look looked at the black clothes she wore 

[A mutilated corpse was found in an old alley] This was last thing she had seen in the press, and that corpse happened to belong to her brother, Anthony

"My memories are blurry. The last thing I remember was pain, then warmth, and... I found myself in my closet, bandaged well. How?... no, wait... "

She covered her smile with her hand. thought "Why do I feel so happy now?"

... 

"Well... I'm not happy now..." Alexa said with empty eyes while sitting next to her suitcase on one of the stairs 

The years passed in the blink of an eye and now, Alexandra was a young woman of eighteen  years old 

Her mysterious friend disappeared many years ago, and her family moved to another area after Anthony's death, but the problem is... 

"Sigh... Great. I'm finally getting kicked out of the house" Alexa gave a blank smile to the world 

She rolled over to throw herself on the ground, ignoring the possibility of someone passing by and seeing this scene. She said "At least I was able to finish that damned university study somehow and still have my equipment and tools with me. Perfecto" 

She quickly laughed out loud. She got up excitedly, then took out a wad of money and shouted with her hands raised up  "You both don't need this money anyway, you two loser bitches, wahahaha!!!!!!!I will spend this money as I want so...! " 

Suddenly, a deadly cutting tool flew out from somewhere and cut the wad of money in Alexa's hand 

Alexa "..." 

"..." 

"..." 

"..." 

" *inhalation* You damned wooooorld!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " 

*silence* 

"Nah it's time to look for a job" Alexa shrugged
