59 The power to stop time

After Piccolo flew away, Goku commanded Guldo to follow them and went to Guru's house. As Goku and the others went there, Guru thanked them. Goku just said "Don't mention it Elder Guru. You have given us a lot of help by unlocking our potentials and also letting us use the Dragonballs many times. So protecting Namek is our duty. Guru smiled hearing this. He was really happy that his people didn't have to suffer. He sensed how strong Frieza was. If Goku as a child wouldn't have arrived on that day, Nail would never have been this strong and also their race would have perished this day.

Goku then took out one of the fruits of the tree of might and handed it to Guru saying "This is the fruit of the tree of might. It's full of vitality. Please eat it." Guru was hesitant at first, but as Goku said he had lots of them, he accepted the gesture and ate the fruit. He was filled with energy and vitality and his power also increased. He once again thanked Goku. This person has helped the Nameks again and again. Naturally Guru would be thankful.

Goku then headed out to his Mint and others and gave everyone a fruit. Their power also increased. Goku checked everyone's power level with his scouter. Nail after training everyday and eating the fruit, reached 25 million. Mint also ate the fruit and her power level reached 33 million. Luna also reached 30 million. Trunks reached 20 million and Gohan reached 25 million. Finally Goku also ate the fruit and his power was now 43 million. He had to do more training now. His kids almost caught up to him in base power at their young age. But he was nonetheless happy seeing everyone power up.

Goku then went to Guldo and opened a time gate and entered the Hyperbolic time chamber with him to train his ability. Guldo had many abilities, but Goku was interested only in some namely,

Telekinesis – A technique that allows the user to manipulate objects and other people with the power of one's mind.

Time Freeze – the special ability to temporarily stop time, which allows the user to escape an opponent and move out of the way when they find themselves in trouble.

These abilities were the must for him. Cell also used telekinesis in the anime. So he wanted to learn both these abilities at any cost. Thus he spared Guldo and took him inside the time chamber. After entering the time chamber, Goku spoke to Guldo "I know you have many abilities, but I want you to teach me two of them. Time freeze and Telekinesis. What do you say? I'll let you go after you teach me and I promise you that I won't kill you if you don't cross my path again."

Guldo hearing this spoke "Sir, Actually, I didn't learn these abilities. I was born with them. I noticed I had these powers when I was a kid". He said. Goku replied "It doesn't matter. Just use the abilities you have again and again and I'll learn from seeing you use it." Guldo couldn't refuse. He would be killed if he doesn't comply. His only choice was to trust the saiyan in front of him to let him go after he learns the two techniques. So Guldo started using telekinesis and Goku was watching the flow of Ki to learn how it works.

After 2 months, Goku learnt the telekinesis ability perfectly. He became more proficient in it then Guldo. After that Guldo started to show him the time stop techniques. Goku was amazed witnessing the technique. Now he knew that Hit's time skip was a basic and an inferior version of Guldo's time stop. The time stop was more advanced than the time-skip. Like that 6months passed inside the time chamber. It was almost night outside on earth. Goku and Guldo existed the time chamber and picked up Mint and the kids and all of them returned to earth to his mansion.

Goku and his family had their dinner and Goku went to sleep with his girls and showed Guldo a guest room warning him not to try anything funny, or he will kill him even if he hides at the end of the universe. As Goku has learnt his Ki signature, he could basically teleport to him anywhere and kill him with ease. Then the next morning, Goku and Guldo started training again, but in the outside world. Like this every day passed with Goku training to achieve time stop. But it was too difficult.

Guldo change ki nature to manipulate Time due to his physique and he held his breath to stop time because his ki would be concentrated inside his body when he held his breath. So Goku also need to change his ki nature to time based one. Like this his training continued. Months passed. Even though Goku spent a lot of time training, he didn't neglect his family like the original Goku. He always spent time with them.

In the depths of space, inside a spaceship, King Cold was sitting drinking his wine. He had just received the news of Frieza's death and arrived near Namek in search of his remaining thinking that the physique of his race could have survived some way, but he didn't know that frieza who had a power of 120 million was blasted into nothing with an attack with t he power of 900 million. That was when he noticed that Cooler had also been here at that time. So he contacted cooler and was shocked to hear that cooler had found out the power to be 900 million.

King cold for the first time felt that he got threatened by someone. He always thought that his race was the strongest. Even he didn't believe that a super saiyan existed or could match the power of the beings of his race. But he knew that frieza was going to Namek for the Dragonballs and that it was protected by a super saiyan. If he somehow knew that super saiyan could be this powerful, he would have destroyed them ages ago. He regretted it now and then thought of working with cooler as that was his only option. So both of them decided to set their differences aside for the time being and formed an alliance.
