Goku trained in Yardrat with full motivation. After he learnt basis of a technique, he enters the time chamber to train and perfect the technique. After one year, training spirit control, he felt something different in him. This might have been also due to the time travel he had done. He felt that he could feel different timelines vaguely if he concentrated. He then tried to use the technique he learnt from Guldo and it seemed easy to understand. He couldn't grasp the essence of time before, but now he was somewhat clear on what to do.

Goku immediately started practicing the time stop techniques. It was easier to understand the techniques now compared to before. He practiced the techniques for 6months and found out that hit's timeskip is an inferior version of time stop. Hit stops time for a fraction of a second and moves using his speed to achieve timeskip. If Goku could stop time, his enemies will be sitting ducks in front of his power. Now after training for 6 months, Goku can stop time for 0.5seconds. Using his instant transmission, he can one shot his enemies.

Back on earth, Raditz finally achieved super saiyan. His base power was over 10 million so he concentrated his energy on his spine like Goku told him. He was doing it every day while training and finally he achieved the transformation. Now he needs to control it. So he resumed his training again. Nappa was also training with Raditz and seeing Raditz achieve super saiyan, Nappa was more motivated and trained harder.

Trunks had trained with Vegeta in the time chamber for 2 years and trunks achieved buffed saiyan, but was not able to reach super saiyan 2. Sadly Vegeta couldn't achieve super saiyan. Trunks had tried his best to help Vegeta, but he was too prideful and left the planet to train alone. Trunks returned to Goku's mansion and requested Mint to help him achieve super saiyan 2. Mint told him to master his super saiyan state first by staying in super saiyan everyday. Trunks also started practicing that.

Meanwhile Dr. Gero was flying on space with his mechanical androids as he could control them better than 17&18. He wanted revenge so badly. He had travelled to different planets left by frieza force and collected a lot of technology and DNA of various alien species. He was now headed to Namek as he found frieza died there from one of his planets he raided. He wanted to collect Namekian DNA and on his way to Namek, he found a metallic looking planet which was moving towards Namek as well. Suddenly that planet started to pull Dr.Gero's spaceship towards it and it finally crashed into the metallic planet.

On earth, Cell who came from the past recovered early and wanted to absorb humans to power up, but at that time, he sensed Raditz who had just transformed into a super saiyan and was scared of his power output because it was Raditz first time transforming and he couldn't mask his power. Raditz power level with super saiyan was over 500million and cell in his base form had just 250million. So without a choice, he went in search of Dr. Gero's lab. He was planning on killing Dr. Gero and taking over the androids to become complete.

Back to Goku, he learnt Spirit control and Forced spirit fission. After learning these two techniques, Goku could feel the two energies within his body. His normal Ki and the Ki unlocked by the Old Kai. The Ki of his mystic form. As Goku grasped the two Ki better after learning spirit techniques and he started merging them. It was taking a lot of time to merge the ki little by little. Finally after a year, Goku merged his Mystic form to his base form and his base power skyrocketed. His base power was added to his Mystic form. Finally his base power shot to 140 billion.

His ki was also regenerating by absorbing energy from nature as mystic ki was different from regular ki and Goku fused both of them using forced spirit fission. His super saiyan transformation also felt easy and less draining. Goku knew it is his chance and entered the time chamber and started training to achieve super saiyan 3. First he couldn't achieve super saiyan 3 as his living body couldn't maintain anything more than perfect super saiyan 2 as it was too draining, but after fusing mystic ki, there was practically negligible drain to maintain super saiyan 2. So he could now train for super saiyan 3 and maintain it for long after achieving it.

Goku trained in the time chamber for 2 years while only 2 days passed outside and he achieved super saiyan 3 with a whopping multiplier of 400x to his base of 140 billion which added up to 56 trillion. This was using all of Goku's potential that was unlocked by Old Kai. Goku was the strongest mortal in universe 7 as of now. Finally three years had passed from when Trunks had came to earth. It was age 767 May 1st. Goku returned back to earth after his long and arduous training. He wanted to spend some time with his family and also had some other things to take care of on earth.

Goku returned back to his mansion and was happy to see everybody's progress. His girls and kids hugged him and he hugged them back. Then Goku took everyone to the beach to enjoy for a few days. He spent 6 years training. 3years outside and 3 years total in the time chamber. So he missed them all. Now nobody can threaten him in this universe as he was most probably the strongest, but he knew about other universes and also the warning to be strong from Zalama. He knew this was the only peace time he would probably get. So he enjoyed it with his family.
