35 Ancient Saiyan explained

Goku reached Namek. He had teleported in front of Nail. As soon as he arrived, he was attacked by a shadow. He dodged it easily only to see a chini piccolo attacking him. He laughed looking at piccolo. Piccolo snorted and tried to attack again, but Nail hit his head. Piccolo calmed down rubbing his head. Then Nail welcomed Goku. Goku too greeted Nail & Piccolo "Yo guys, I'll be staying on Namek for a while to train. Piccolo, no grudges between us. Keep it cool. Don't get satisfied by just trying to conquer a small weak planet. Aim high. The universe has a lot to offer."

Then Goku turned around and saw many Namekians meditating. Nail spoke "I'm training all of them". Goku nodded in understanding. He then started to meditate along with them trying to achieve one body one mind state that Goku had achieved in the original so that he could achieve Super Saiyan. One month passed by like that. Goku also started staying in Kaioken as long as he can so that his body gets adjusted to it. He also took out the new and improved gravity chambers and entered them with Nail. They both started training with increased pressure.

And finally on one day Goku started powering up in the sky. Clouds blew away. Lightning started dancing in the planet. And Goku's hair stood up and finally turned golden. His pupils turned green. He shouted "Ahhhhh" and an orange glow covered his body. Finally he achieved super Saiyan. All the Namekians were watching this surprised. They could feel the extraordinary power of the transformation. "Nail, what's the scouter showing?"Asked Goku. Nail clicked on the scouter and shouted "wow, 650 million Goku." Goku smiled. Piccolo gritted his teeth. He was like an ant compared to Goku's power. He couldn't accept that.

Goku trained the next few months to control the super Saiyan transformation and he stayed in the transformed state as long as he can. He wanted to achieve true super Saiyan in which, he didn't need to expend a lot of energy to power up and use super Saiyan. And also would have a 100x multiplier instead of 50. His base stopped increasing after it reached 13 million. Might be because his body reached its limit until his growth spurt happened. Guru's potential unlock ability helped his small body to contain such power. So he went to guru to ask if he could get any answers.

"Elder Guru, my power seems to be stagnated and I'm not able to increase it more. After you unlocked my potential, my groth was exponential, but it suddenly stopped do you know why?" Guru thought for a moment "Goku, it must be because my ability is to stimulate a small amount of potential that is dormant inside a person. The potential I have stimulated must have been used up. As I said before, you need to figure it out on how to unlock that great strength hidden in you. You can ask Porunga. He might have answers" Then he handed Goku the one star Dragonball.

Goku thanked him and along with Nail, collected all the Dragonballs and went to a secluded place and called Porunga. Piccolo also flew over to watch. After porunga appeared, Goku first asked about Namekians. "Porunga, what are super Namekians?" Porunga answered "Super namekians are born through fusion of two strong Namekians or some Namekians unlock their abilities and achieve seemingly insurmountable powers. For example that One before he separated" porunga said pointing to Piccolo. Goku nodded and Nail too seemed to understand. Now he had a new goal.

(A/N: I'm not typing the cliche language of porunga and making him speak normally. Ex he says "Thou speak" and "thou hast summoned" something like that.)

Goku asked Porunga "Porunga, why am I not able to increase my base power? Is it because my potential is locked or something?" Porunga answered "You have forcefully awoken and used up your potential that your small body can handle. Your body needs to mature in order to access its full potential. Once your body is matured, it will be easy to increase your power and handle the stress. And your growth speed will also be exponentially faster compared to now even with force unlocking your potential."

Goku then asked "Can I get ancient Saiyan or legendary Saiyan bloodline? As my wish?" Porunga answered "Your wish is not within my power. But you already have ancient Saiyan bloodline. You need to unlock it yourself or find higher dimension Dragon balls." Goku surprised asked "Can you explain porunga?" Porunga snorted and spoke "Humph! Ancient saiyans were great apes. They were very big and some even as big as 100metres. They didn't have rationality and were just like animals who kill and destroy. They fight each other for fun on instinct. After many generations, the apes started to become rational and developed their thinking abilities.

Then after thousands of years, some of the apes started to condense the power in their huge ape bodies and shrunk their size to form a humanoid like being with hairs covering them as armour. This was triggered due to great sorrow or longing. After seeing one of them achieve that form, many others achieved it as well. Thus humanoid saiyans were born. There also started two groups. Rational Humanoid saiyans and the irrational great apes. Then after many generations, a Saiyan great ape which couldn't become humanoid, tried many ways and became a mutated Saiyan ape due to a curse and couldn't control its powers.

The two groups the apes and humanoids worked together to stop that mutated Saiyan but eventually the mutated Saiyan over exerted his powers and exploded along with the planet killing everyone and even destroying the whole solar system. But some humanoid saiyans who didn't want a part of it had left the planet with the help of some aliens. As generations passed by and due to inter mating with other species, the saiyans became more humanoid like and that ancient powers got sealed in their spine. And due to the curse, a mutated Saiyan will be born every thousand years threatening to destroy the entire race."

Goku nodded in understanding and thanked porunga. He had always thought that super Saiyan 4 is not the like the golden form of super Saiyan 1,2&3 and some bodily transformation. Now his doubts are cleared. If he gets strong enough to unlock the ancient bloodline that is dormant in him, he could unlock the super Saiyan 4 as they called in GT. If normal Saiyan can transform into super Saiyan 1,2&3, then ancient Saiyan body must also be able to transform into something like a golden super Saiyan and that must be the limit breaker form seen in the anime. This was just a theory, but Goku was hopeful of finding out weather his theory is right or wrong. 'There must be more to it than in the anime'. He thought.

Thus, he started training his super Saiyan form as his base power couldn't be increased until his body matured. He was planning to atleast be able to achieve true super saiyan before that.
