2 The Timeline

Waking up again, Leon was assaulted by the pain of voices once more. He quickly focused his mind and the voices faded.

Once he stood up he quickly felt the changes in his body or more specifically, his mind. It seems like he now had an eidetic memory. He could remember everything all the way back to his first day of kindergarten.

This was great because even if the Random Overpowered Being let Leon keep his memories, it didn't mean he would have remembered every single detail about this world as the one he was in was a very unique dc universe.

The Dc universe Leon had chosen to reside in was an amalgamation of multiple different versions of comics movies and tv, with the main storyline being that of the DC animated movie universe which began in 2014 with the Justice League: War movie.

'I should probably do some research on what the timeline is right now... after a shower' Leon thought as he looked down at his sweaty body. 'Bonding with the mind stone was very taxing on my body. I'll need to make myself stronger if I want to do that with the other stones as well, but I'll think about that later.'

(A/N. I have a few ideas about how to make his body stronger but it would be lovely if you gave me some suggestions as well)

After a quick shower, Leon got dressed and sat at his computer next to the window.

The first time he woke up in this world It was morning but after his unintended nap after absorbing the mind stone, it was now about 2 pm.

He turned on his laptop and started doing his research. After around 3 hours of nonstop googling, Leon had learned a lot about this universe.

The first was that the Justice League has not formed yet but a bunch of the heroes were active.

Superman has been in Metropolis for about a year but before that, there were spottings of a Red-Blue Blur for about 7 years. It also seems like he's already married to Lois lane in this timeline.

The Flash was first spotted in Central city 2 years ago after the particle accelerator explosion at star labs. Also already married to the reporter Iris West-Allen.

The Green Arrow has been in star city for 4 years but there has never been any sign of the 'Arrow'. Hopefully, it means that this version of Oliver Queen is a lot more light-hearted than his tv show counterpart.

A Green Lantern showed up in coast city a year ago and he's been doing... fine I guess.

There were a couple of tales told by fishermen about a man who had saved them from storms or how he would bring food to poor villages during the winter. So Aquaman was around just not the king of Atlantis yet.

Victor Stone is still a college football star so no Cyborg yet.

Shazam didn't exist so it meant that Billy Batson didn't get the wizard's power yet.

There were no records of Wonder Woman or Diana Prince during the great war so she probably still hadn't left the island.

Finally, there was Batman. He had been around for about 16 years but he had been so low profile that only criminals that had the unfortunate meeting with him, and some of the GCPD knew he was real. Most civilians thought he was just a legend to scare kids away from crime.

The only reason Leon had so much info on Batman was because both Nightwing and Red Robin have been active in Bludhaven and Paris respectively. Those two were a lot more colourful in their crime-stopping.

After doing a bit more research, Leon had found out that over the past 16 years Bruce Wayne has adopted 3 different children, the first being Dick Grayson. Leon found the Dick was Robin for about 7 years during that time he was also a member of the Teen Titans.

The second Robin, Jason Todd was only around for about 3 years before his untimely death at the hands of the Joker. Officially Jason Todd died of a terrorist attack on Wayne tower but Leon knew that was obviously a cover-up. Red hood hasn't shown up yet so Jason was either still planing his dramatic comeback or he's still dead.

The third Robin showed up around 6 months after the second died and he stayed with Batman for about 6 years. After he grew up he left Batman to go solo in a different city.

'Alright, I believe I know enough about this world. I think it's about time I go explore a bit. I am in Gotham after all, something interesting is bound to happen.

After getting dressed in a tight-fitting black t-shirt, a pair of black jeans and a beige leather jacket, Leon left his condo and went for a walk to the local diner. He decided to grab a bit to eat before going into a full exploration of the city.

As Leon was walking down the street, he happened to glance up at the rooftops just in time to see Green Lantern along with Batman chasing after a Parademon. 'Guess I'll just create a burger or something later...' Leon thought as he slipped into a nearby ally.

Once he was in the ally he made sure nobody was around before he used his magic to create a super suite around his body. Since he was in DC he might as well be a hero. Was he gonna kill villains? Yes, but he was planning on making an alternate identity for that. After all, it would be annoying if the soon-to-be Justice League tried to arrest him for doing the things they refuse to.

Back on topic. Leon designed his suit to look like the dark suit from the spider-man ps4 game. (Image here)

After having made his costume, Leon jumped up to the roof and started following the superhero duo.

"Take your glowstick and go home, Gotham's mine," Batman said as he shot his grappling hook at the escaping parademon, hooking onto its leg. As Green lantern flew after him he started bickering with the Bat. "No, see this entire space sector is my beat"

"Uh-huh," Batman replied uncaringly.

"I'm serious. I'm Green Lantern dammit!" He whined as he shot green lasers at the parademon.

As the two heroes chased the parademon into the sewer, Leon stopped atop a building and just stared at the open manhole.

'Yeah, I'm not going into the sewer of a major metropolitan city. It smells bad enough above ground as it is. Now if I remember correctly from the movie, the parademon will sacrifice itself in order to kill Batman and Green Lantern which won't work. After that Batman figures out the mother box, the parademon was carrying is alien tech, he and Lantern will go to Metropolis to meet And get their asses kicked by Superman.'

'This leaves me with only one option... Go to Washing D.C. and meet Wonder Waifu Diana'. Leon thought as he activated his rocket boots and web wings.

The original suit obviously didn't have these but Leon added a bunch of stuff while making it. Including but not limited to the aforementioned rocket boots and web wings, web regenerating web-shooters, ALOT of lethal and non-lethal gadgets, and of course, this wouldn't be a superhero fan-fic without the best-known superhero A.I. in all of fiction, Jarvis.

"Jarvis set me a flight path to Washington D.C.,"

[Of course sir.] Jarvis replied.
