5 Chapter 5-Training

It's been a tiring few days since I joined he Familia, I had been teaching Bell what I knew of the Dungeon and also a few other basics that he seemed to not know, along with that Iv been using him as a Practice Dummy of sorts.

I'd asked Bell if he was Ready to know my secrets, secrets that I'd kill to keep quiet, he said yes.

So I had been using Damnations four forms on Bell to train him, along with all my powers.

I've used Swam and Living Rope to train his Agility and Spacial awareness.

I've also been learning how to properly use my Spear in close combat, and I had beaten Bell black, blue and red countless times.

I've also had him learn to keep a clear mind while fighting, I did this by using my Heart Reading to read his thoughts and instincts, this served the purpose of keeping his mind on the battle, and to not get distracted, although it might obstruct his use of [Argonaut] early on, I was willing to do this if it meant that he was more focused.

I've had Bell stay out of the Dungeon for a few days in order to get a Handle on his fighting style.

He's quick, precise and has a lot of strength of mind for someone who has yet to level up.

But he has no magic which also meant that I knew where in the story I was, Freya had yet to select the [Fire Bolt] magic for him, but that also meant that she might have seen me.

I couldn't have her target me, it wasn't something I was willing to go through no matter how many people got hurt, I guess it was selfish of me, but then again I was also a selfish person my self.

I had indulged myself my entire life and not let anyone close to me change who I was even if it was for the better.

Putting these thoughts out of my mind, me and Bell went to the Entrance do the dungeon.

Lilly was there waiting for us and I was instantly aware of her dislike of me.

She looked at me through a mask of innocents.

I had been intending to call her out on this, and because bell was aware of my Ability to read the hearts and minds of others, he would trust me and that would make lilli stay away.

Lilly wasn't at the point where she truly liked Bell in any way, she didn't even trust him yet.

So I knew that if I could drive her away, I could get out of the Hestia Familia sooner.

Its not like I hated Hestia or Bell, I just thought that if I had been seen by Freya, being in a strong Familia would be better than being in a weak one.

But after seeing how well she acted around bell and sensing her emotions as she we went into the Dungeon, I knew it wasn't her fault.

So I scrapped my plan to drive her away and I planned to straight up confront her later and tell her that I was going to help her.

But for now I had monsters to Kill.

The dungeon had a lot of monsters in it, as we went further and Further into the dungeon, I met stronger and Stronger monsters.

I kept my distance at first, but when it came to the bigger mush faster and stronger monsters, I got close and personal with them.

'Damnation: Third configuration: Swarm' I swung my arm sending a barrage of little blades at a group of War Shadows.

They gave off a steek of pain and dispersed into clouds of dust, then as I turned my attention towards a Few Frog Shooters that we're giving Lilli and Bell trouble I decided to test if Lilli could be trusted with the secret of Damnation.

She had seen it originally as a simple spear, not worth much.

But now that she had seen it transform I could practically feel the greed and destination coming off her.

i activated Damnations Living Rooe form and grabbed Lilli ad Bell From behind an pulled them back, I rushed forwards and kicked the frog shooters straight in the faces and bursting their eyes, killing them.

"Ok, let's move down to the next level" I said taking a deep breath and releasing Lilli and Bell from my Living Ropes grasp.

"Wait, Mister Harlepuin, Please, what is that Weapon, it's so strong, how did you get it?"

She said through her mask.

But before I could tell lilli, Bell Talkd first.

"Lilli, That spear is somthignyou can't ask about, it's Harlequins secret, I don't even k ow about ot fully, he only trusts Goddess Hestia with his spears secret"

I was simultaneously proud and annoyed at Bell.

Proud Becuase he had learned his lesson about saying things to people that hye didn't need to know, and annoyed because he had interrupted me.

"Its Ok Bell" I said, putting my hand on his shoulder "I think hat I can trust lilli, her mind and emotions are clean, even after rI dived so deep, I couldn't find anything" I did looking Lilli straight into the eyes.

She realised what this meant, and looked both afraid and confused.

"you see Lilli, what I mean is I can see into the minds and read the emotions of others, even there dark est thoughts aren't safe from me and the Spear is Magic, it can transform me move on it's own, you could say it's a living weapon"

Lilli looked at the spear in my hands and watched as it transformed into a giant two tailed Lynx and curled up around my feet.

Bell hadnt seen this form yet so he was shocked, but Lilli only had greed behind he mask, which it self was about to fall off.
