'Silver finally arrived at the bottom of the mountain path, he was now very close to the walls.'

"Pheww… That took longer than expected."

'Silver snapped his fingers and a blue wave started to "wash" his body. Throwing all of the fatigue away.'

"Much better."

Of course, I would never use magic around others, since I eventually kept it a secret even from his family. With the exception of Misty, my grandmother.

But she didn't have a clue about what it was, saying it was probably a Unique Skill/Magic.

She also told me to keep it a secret from everyone except those I fully trust.

The Gods were never brought into the conversation since it's common knowledge that they can access their Familia's information easily.

At least I managed to test its power against normal magic, and considering it had decent results against a relatvely powerful mage, I think this unique power of mine is truly good.

She also designed a training schedule for me, one of the reasons I progressed so fast.

And thanks to that, I had only needed to train for about two years until I was satisfied.

(It wasn't exactly two years, the protag is currently 17 if you are curious. More on that later.)

'Now before Silver was Orario's massive gates… And massive entry lines…'

'Everyone wanted to get access to the city, and there were also many leaving the city on a daily basis.'

'But entry is not as easy as you imagine, the city has many enemies, including the Ares Familia who constantly attack the city, failing every time.'

'So they need to check the identity of everyone who enters the city. And for Silver, that was easy since his parents became members of an agricultural Familia that was allied with the city.'

'One made for winter since it was getting a little chilly.'

'What is the guild? That's a long story, but let's make it short!'

'The Guild is an organization that manages Familias within Orario and provides services to adventurers. They are the government in a sense. They "rule" Orario.'

'The entire economy of the city is based around them, and all of the Gods respect and approve of it.'

'To find the reason we would have to go back nearly a thousand years, but it's unimportant for now.'

'The main goal of the Guild is to manage the monster threat created in the dungeon.'

'Aside from this, the Guild buys magic stones, dropped loot, adventurer-created maps of the dungeon, and some other things.'

'It also provides weapons and armor to new adventurers who are just starting out.'

'The Guild is in fact, an organization created by the first God to descend, Ouranos.'

"Excuse-me. Are you a merchant, a new citizen, a registered adventurer, or none of the above?" She said tiredly.

"I should be classified as a new citizen I imagine." Replied Silver

"Then please go towards that line over there." She said as she pointed towards Silver's left

"Thank you miss." Said Silver as he did a small bow and left

'She didn't even look at him and went towards the next one in the line.'

'Silver could help her with her fatigue, but that would reveal his magic, so he did a human's specialty:'

'Not care.'

"..."

'Silver arrived in his now much smaller line and waited.'

'It didn't take long for another girl to approach him, this time it was a very short girl with brown hair, by the looks of it, she was a Pallum.'

'She was wearing the same guild clothing, showing she was a member of the guild.'

"Hello miss." Silver said to her

"Oh? That's quite rare. Normally someone would comment on my height first before anything else." She said with a small smile

(Pallum's have an average height of about 110 cm. Perfect for Lolicons...)

"Miss, you are pretty tall for a Pallum though."

(She was around 125 cm)

"And who told you I was a Pallum!" She said with anger in her eyes.

"You aren't? Then accept my apologies."

'Better not create trouble just when I got here...'

'She opened her mouth to say something but seeing his sincere face she stopped and said awkwardly:'

"HA!... You are among the few who did not get embarrassed when I did this little show." She said with an awkward smile

"So it will be pretty simple. Identity and name."

'Silver complied and gave her some papers from his backpack he took out from the storage space prior to reaching the gates.'

"You are from… Jium Village? In the North?" She asked

"No, I am from Guyrt Village, slightly Northeast, close to the Seolo forest."

Pretty terrible way to test me, lady...

"Alright. Everything seems fine, the bulb didn't light up. Just some questions before I can let you go."

"Sure"

"Your age?"

"17, turning 18 at the new year. First of January."

"You look older than I expected." She said as she analyzed Silver's face again

'He was indeed very handsome, with his dark hair and Silver eyes.'

'The girl was stunned for a second before she coughed and coutinued.'

"Parent's names?"

"Marcus Esca and Rubia Esca"

"Are you from a Familia?"

"No."

"Then please go to the closest Guild branch if you are considering becoming an adventurer."

"Do you have combat experience?"

"Yes I do."

"What kind of?" She asked

"I used to hunt monsters near my village with my family, from Goblins to Orcs."

'She nodded as she checked the truth device, it didn't react at all.'

"I once hunted a Silverback near my village.

'Silence'

'The truth device did not trigger.'

"I ..."

'The girl was about to continue with her questions when...'

"HAHAHA! You kid? Hunted a Silverback? A monster rivaling a decent level two adventurer?" Said a more robust man behind Silver

"Yeah?" Said Silver

Thankfully I didn't say I hunted a wyvern… These people are so petty...

"You asked and I answered."

"HAHAHA! Look at him trying to impress the girl!"

"Hey… There is no need for this you know…" She whispered to me

Even though he defeated a Silverback, it should've been with his family's help, this rude bastard over here is a Level 1 adventurer though... I wouldn't feel good by causing trouble to this boy.

"Sigh… Just write whatever you wish on that damn paper."

"HAHAHA! He doesn't even have the balls to admit it! Look, everyone!"

'He and his friends started laughing at Silver.'

'Silver ignored them.'

'Silver just kept walking towards him.'

'He just shrugged his shoulders at his friends and walked to me.'

"Let's keep this short, consider it a welcome to Orario!" He said as he cracked his knuckles

"Yeah. Thank you for welcoming me, trash."

"! What did you say?! I was planning to leave you with only minor bruises but I think a broken nose will fit perfectly in that delicate face!"

'He rushed towards Silver at a surprising speed!'

Wow... He went from zero to 40 KmH just like that. Falna is truly incredible.

'The moment he went close to Silver, he kicked a rock in front of his feet hitting the adventurer's balls.'

'All of the men around him closed their legs at the sight.'

"AHHHH!" He screamed

'As he bent his back, Silver picked him by his hair and gave him a good knee to the face.'

'The man fell on the floor, his face bleeding.'

"I think a broken nose looks much more fitting on you though."

'He went back to the Pallum girl and asked:'

"Next question?"

'As if nothing had happened.'

"YOU BASTARD! YOU THINK YOU CAN…"

'His friends went ballistic.'

"WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE?!" Said a guard as he approached

'He looked at the guild girl and at the people on the ground, then finally at me. He created an image in his head about this man trying to show off to the girl by punching some low-level adventures.'

'Even though he looked cool right now, as a guard, he had to punish him.'

"Those guys were causing trouble, but it has already been resolved." Said the small girl in embarrassment.

I don't really care if she believes me or not, but it would be bad for his reputation if I was branded a liar the moment I got here.

'She analyzed it with a small glass bubble before giving the stone back to me.'

"They're real."

The adventures were open-mouthed. Although some had already come to this conclusion the moment they realized the truth device didn't sound.

"Are your parent's adventures?"

"Yes."

"I see…"

'She started to imagine the situation, two strong parents giving their son a little help in exterminating a strong monster...'

"Level 1 farmer, from the Demeter Familia."

They joined not too long ago.

(This is another agricultural Familia)

"Say that from the beginning!"

'She seemed slightly pissed, it was quite cute considering she didn't even reach his chest.'

'The Northern entrance was bustling with activity, many stores were filled with traveling supplies. They all had the emblem of the Loki Familia on their doors.'

'Orario has Four major entrances in the four cardinal directions, and 2 minor entrances reserved for adventurers and merchants to import and export products.'

'Of course, those entrances are only for those already registered in Orario. New people and organizations need to pass through the major gates.'

'This doesn't mean they have a free pass in and out of the city.'

'Such luxury is reserved for the big and trustworthy Familia, like the Loki Familia.'

'These entrances are only there to decrease the Lines in the four major gates.'

'There are 4 roads that directly connect the 4 main gates to the middle of Orario, Babel, and 4 more in order to improve locomotion around the city, dividing it into 8 identical sections.'

'Or districts if you wish.'

'Different Familias live in each of these sections, but they each have a "ruler". The city's current strongest Familias is both the Loki and Freya Familias.'

'For example, the Hephaestus Familia occupies a rather big area of a district with all of the workshops under their name. They even have shops from floors 4-8 in the Babel tower.'

'Although I don't know if they are exclusive just to their workshops.'

'And the Ishtar Familia occupies an entire district. The red-light district. You could say they have the biggest area owned in Orario.'

'The major roads are normally filled with stores and Inn's but the start of the northern road wasn't.'

'Very close to the Northern gate was Loki Familia's headquarters. So many of the establishments around it were made to support it.'

'Potion shops, herb shops, etc.'

'And this place is also considered its private grounds, so all inns are of high quality.'

'Meaning they are expensive. But merchants will pay nevertheless if it means keeping their prestige. And they will receive protection from the Familia, the second strongest in Orario! So it's a worthwhile deal.'

"I wonder when I will meet a member of their Familia." Said Silver as he went down the wide road

'His destination was obviously, the guild. He needed a map and a recommendation for an Inn. If possible, he would even buy a house.'

"I also need to get some currency..."

I acquired many, magic stones during my years outside, my grandparents were the same. They also had a lot of money from when they were adventures.

Even if it's only a fraction of what they once had, it's still more than enough to buy a decent house.

If I sell all of the Stones I should have around… 3.6 Million Vallis?

This is enough to buy a house and some good equipment. Even for Level 3 standards.

However, I doubt I would be able to get one from the get-go...

'During his walk, he saw Elves Humans, Dwarves, Cow people, Cat people, multiple types of Demi-humans.'

'He couldn't just pull it out from his storage space… For obvious reasons.'

'And he can't sell all of the stones at once since it would be slightly suspicious, but he can slowly sell the stones over time.'

'He went down the stairs to the first floor in order to eat breakfast. It was some strange meat with white bread, some vegetables, and what he imagined to be milk as a drink'.

"Yeah, it's milk." He said

'It was pretty decent, not gonna lie. But incomparable to what he could eat at home.'

'Perhaps if the cook pays more attention when cooking this would become pretty good. But, cooking for several clients at once isn't easy.'

'After getting up and brushing his teeth in the bathroom sink, Silver left the Inn.'

'This Inn has a good position, being in between the North road and the guild, it's also close to the Dungeon, around an hour of walking, if he were to pay for a long term stay he would be able to get a room for 150-190 Valis a day.'

"It must be a pain to be a member of the Loki Familia, having to walk all the way from the top of the Northern road until Babel every time they want to raid a Dungeon."

It's one to two hours of walking while carrying armor and supplies, and you can't use horses inside the city unless you have a special permit.

'He asked a nearby civilian the way to the guild and continued on his way.'

"YOU FUCKER!" Screamed someone on the other side of the road.

'Silver turned around to see what was happening.'

'It was a Human pointing at a handsome elf in undergarments, on his side was a beautiful cat girl, also in undergarments…'

"I don't like where this is going..."

"IS THIS HOW YOU REPAY ME FIYIN?! AFTER I SAVE YOUR LIFE 3 TIMES IN THE DUNGEON, BRING YOU TO MY HOUSE TO TREAT YOUR WOUNDS, AND GO TO THE DUNGEON TO MAKE MONEY TO PAY FOR THE TREATMENT, YOU REPAY ME BY SLEEPING WITH MY WIFE?!"

'The Elf didn't look that perturbed, in fact, he looked as if he expected this situation.'

"It's not our fault Robie, it was just the moment and some alcohol…"

"You stayed at Level 1 for almost 5 years now! I am already Level 3 on my way to Level 4 Loire is Level 2 almost 3 herself!"

"You can't do anything in the dungeons anymore, much less give what she deserves with that meager pay. You are holding her back with your meager talent."

"You didn't even hold a proper marriage because you didn't have the money. Now… GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE!"

'He seemed to be about to burst!'

'He had golden eyes and shoulder-length light brown hair. He was wearing a piece of medium armor covering the chest, shoulder, and some parts of his legs and arms. He had a spear on his back.'

'He also had to furry ears, he was a beastman.'

"What a bad way to start the day, being reminded that you can't even trust your friends for some stuff, no?" He said

"It was also the guy's fault for choosing such a terrible wife and friend." I replied

"That's right, but that isn't something we can control sometimes. People change over time, be it for the better or for the worse." He said

"So the safe option is to just not have a girlfriend?" I asked

"If only I could say yes. Unfortunately I already have someone I love, and I damn fucking pray that a situation like this never happens to me."

"Amen, brother."

"What is Amen?" He asked confused

"It's a word from my homeland for agreement..." Said Silver

"Oh! Then Amen it is!... I see you are a new adventurer right?" He asked

"Yes, I am just going to the guild."

'He looked up and down at me but noticed I didn't have any equipment.'

'But he didn't scoff at Silver at all.'

"Hum. If you have the money make sure to buy a piece of chest armor, it saved the lives of many newbies in the past. A spear is also good at the start. But the most important thing is to try and build a party."

"If you have money left, be sure to buy a potion. They can be quite pricey to newcomers but they can and will most likely save your life one day."

"If you can, then you can try to prepare yourself for the future by raising Stats related to your future profession. Like Dexterity and agility for a spearman." He said honestly

'He probably thinks I am a country bumpkin… I actually am one but…'

"Thank you for the tip!" Said Silver as he extended his hand to him

"It's nothing! Names Cruz Bussel. Hope I see you around often…"

"I am Silver, Mellios Silver."

"Is that because of your eyes? Well, Silver is indeed a rare eye color to have. Until next time, Silver."

'Silver gave him a nod and they parted ways, at the same time, the man named Frederic had just recovered his consciousness, he promised to improve himself and marched towards the dungeon.'

'Unfortunately, the Elf had everything planned and he was in for a bad time…'

'As for Silver, he continued on his way to the guild, finally reaching it after another hour of walking in multiple streets.'

"It's a pretty fancy place…" He said as he looked at the rustic yet stylish building

Just like humans but short, not dwarfs, they are considered demi"humans and are just like humans in the sense they are considered the weakest race. But they can see very well, being able to even see in the dark.

Yes Orario has a perfectly functional sewer system, although not everyone has access to warm water. It is rather expensive to set up plumbing.

You must've noticed that I dont use the standard writing style of "" for speech '' for thoughts and blank for narration, that's because by the time I started this I didn't know much about the traditional so i ended up keeping my style as to not mess with my pace by having to redo all of these chapters.

Its not really that hard to get used to but I also understand that as a reader, you are not forced to keep up with some author's strange writing style just because he says so.
