Insane training? You mean, the basic?

This chapter, I tried to address a small issue someone said to me.

About me ending with too many: "..." Said this; "..." Said that.

I hope it became a bit better.

As I said many times, I hear your suggestions, if you can give me a better way to write, or even some methods, I'll take a look and I might even implement it!

This chapter is long, having 4K words.

After this chapter, we should get into the next minor arc that will have fights and some deaths!

'But instead of his muscles, she saw another shirt, a black vest filled to the brim with small rectangular metal objects… Arranged in a way so it wouldn't be as noticeable while under his shirt.'

"What is that?" Riviera asked interested

'Silver took out one of the rectangular metal objects and gave it to her.'

'It was around 3cm wide, 6cm long, 2cm deep… But when she held it, Riveria soon realized that it weighed over 2Kg.'

"This is what I wanted to show to you all… Is something wrong?"

"Weights?" Riveria mumbled to herself as she checked the metal object

"It's Vur Adamantite." Silver said

"Vur Adamantite?" Tiona asked confused

'Lefiya thought for a moment before replying:'

"It's the official name for the heavier form of Adamantite, mostly given to unprocessed ores collected from the Middle and Upper floors..."

"Its excessive weight normally comes from its mixture composition of impurities, but as you know, most people tend to process these to remove as many impurities as they can, increasing the price of the metal exponentially…"

"Until it becomes Dir Adamantite, albeit as I said, such process results in a massive rise in price, and the end result is normally a worse purity than what you'd get from the Deep floors."

"It's my first time seeing it actually being used this way…"

'Lefiya was rather confused about this… But she opted to wait for Silver's input.'

'But before he could say anything, Riveria's eyes sharpened as she took a side glance at Ais, Tiona, and Tione'

"It isn't that hard to distinguish it from other materials... Or so it would be if you paid attention to the classes."

"Looks like you all need some supplementary lessons."

'The three remained silent, looking at the side to avoid her gaze.'

"Care to explain boyo? I don't think they got it yet." Loki said with a cheeky smile

'Silver rolled his eyes, after giving some thought, he said:'

"I don't think it's that novel of an idea, it's simply weighted..."

That's a bit over the top for simple muscle training... It could even be harmful.

"I also have a plan to eventually make my clothes heavy as well, but so far I didn't have enough time to visit a seamstress to see if it was possible, even though I have some candidates."

There are many heavy textile materials out there, many are used in clothes confection, Ais combat dress is one such example, no way that's made with normal materials.

'Riveria did not reply, but... She actually liked the idea of heavy clothes for training.'

'Lefiya suddenly shuddered... She looked around trying to see if there was any window open blowing cold wind at her. But there wasn't...'

"I have another set of weights for the Dungeon made with the heaviest alloy I could afford, of course, the design is different to cope with the movements I perform in the Dungeon, so it isn't technically heavier than this."

"These ones were more of a test I did some time ago, but I kept them since as I've said before they were good enough for outdoor use, otherwise I would've switched each individual weight instead of using an impure metal such as Vur Adamantite."

"Or simply made another design, but my time and money are limited."

I like their expressions, but this is not enough to have them satisfied.

Well, my training methods aren't really a secret, many of my Familia members know what I normally do, but this isn't the case for them...

'Silver nodded as he brushed his messy hair.'

"Yes, I do this every day for many other things as well, it's part of my basic training."

It doesn't really help with increasing my Magic that much, however, since I'm always maintaining it, after several weeks, it accumulates.

It's mostly a form of exercise towards control, and for other mages, it would normally be akin to Concurrent Chant training.

/Silence/

'No one there was ignorant, they knew very well how difficult controlling your Magic power was, even for Tione and Tiona who didn't have any magical skills, they knew how hard it was...'

"Do you know what it is Loki-Sama?" Tione asked Loki with interest

'While Tione shook her head in disappointment, SIlver continued.'

"She isn't wrong, this is dangerous… For non adventurers and newbies... I wouldn't say it's the case for you all."

"And before you ask, I have no idea if it's illegal or not, I made it myself after all."

Technically, it is illegal, but then again...

'Lefiya's expression finally recovered as her eras shot up, so she opened her mouth to inquire:'

"You made a potion without the Mixing Development Ability?"

"Yes."

"Isn't it a waste?..."

'Silver looked at her, confused.'

"People can still hammer Iron without the Blacksmith development ability, people can still build homes without Falna, and people can still put materials together to make potions and such things just the same."

"I can understand that seeking the most out of every material is the norm, but this is a personal experiment, I like the freedom of doing things myself in my own time, there is no one to get disappointed at but at myself..."

"So between wasting a few materials and my time looking for someone eligible to do this for me, I prefer to waste a few thousand Valis worth of materials and do it myself."

"But…"

'Silver shrugged.'

"I know, but it's not like I'm competing with other people on the market, my things are for my own consumption after all."

I have only myself to blame if something goes wrong, not like it will anytime soon.

"So? Enough of keeping us in the dark!" Loki said with an excited expression

'Silver took the first vial, it was filled with a purple liquid.'

"This is the Dream Spider's Poison, I mixed it with some other things in order to make its effects milder, but to last over long periods of time."

"WHAT?!" Lefiya said as she jumped from her seat

'It wasn't just her that was surprised…'

'Riveria grabbed one of the vials, asking politely to open one of the Vials.'

'Upon confirming what it was, she asked with a frown:'

"What is the meaning of this?"

"Can't you tell?"

'Riveria closed her eyes, letting out a sigh as she asked:'

"Are you trying to kill yourself?"

Don't tell me he's using this too...

'But Silver remained composed.'

"Thank you for worrying about me, but I normally…"

'But Loki intervened:'

"Forget that! Are you telling me that you go every day to the Dungeon, wearing weights underneath your equipment, then you debilitate yourself with poison before hunting?"

'Riveria was just as frustrated as Loki, she had never seen someone so uncaring about their own lives.'

"Yes."

How else was I supposed to go to the Dungeon?...

'He took a quick glance at Hestia, but the latter simply looked at him with a dark expression before stepping on his toes lightly.'

'Riveria took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down, and she then asked:'

"Are you aware of how dangerous that is?"

"I am, but also, it's not like I started with this from the very start."

I have a methodology that I follow very closely, it was created after many tries and it was what allowed me to grow like this.

My Skill helped, but the way I do things is very important as well.

That is why I decided to share this and not the rest, because people can believe in something they can envision... Despite it not making that much sense.

"Every day, progressively, as I got stronger, as I leveled up, as my body grew resistant to it, I improved the recipe and my ways as well."

"I scout every floor, I buy an extensive amount of potions and exploration tools..."

"I don't simply take these on the spot, instead I try to think of my environment first, my escape route, the monsters' routes..."

People tend to believe in this explanation, but that is actually hearsay.

There is proper research into this, after all, Abnormal resistance is one of the tops picked DAs.

"Abnormal resistance does increase with this method at the same pace as you'd get in the Dungeon, if you read those books again, you'll notice that."

"The reason it takes so long despite that is due to the fact Abnormal resistance involves a lot more than just poisoning."

"But my objective isn't to increase that in the first place."

'Silver then took the bottle and chugged it down in one fell motion.'

"Silver?!" Hestia exclaimed worriedly

'He patted her head calmly.'

"Why do you look surprised? You know very well that nothing will happen."

'He then looked at the others and said:'

"A Dream spider is indeed a monster feared by many beginners, but that's that, its poison is nothing more than a bitter drink for me."

At this point in time, after drinking such a concentrated dose, I would've at least felt drowsy.

As the poison seeps through the pores of my stomach… Yet after my Constitution increased so much, its effects have decreased considerably.

Although to enhance its effects, the best way is to inject it with a syringe, in a similar way to how the Spider would've done with its fangs.

But I won't do that here... I'll make it clear, this has no psychedelic effects, it's not a drug and I don't use it for pleasure!

"Why do you wish to make the Dungeon harder?" Tione asked

"Pardon my rudeness but... What a redundant question..."

'Tione's expression soured...'

"For self-growth of course."

"I do not wish to throw my life away, I have carefully engineered a training method fit for myself after a lot of trial and error."

"..."

'Riveria face palmed, she lived a long life, and she had met many people, it wasn't her first time seeing someone like him, albeit it sure was her first time seeing someone so...'

'Insane?'

'Yet... She started to consider if it was indeed possible to use very very mild poisons or sufficiently heavy weights during mock training more often… Some of the beginners had yet to receive Abnormal Resistant after all.'

'She was always seeking ways in helping everyone grow stronger, so this might be a new thing to try out...'

'Lefiya and the others shuddered slightly.'

"Wew… I thought you were hardcore since you leveled up so fast, but it seems you're a complete madman." Loki said as she shook her head

It's safe to say he has the Abnormal resistance Development Ability… And he may have it at quite the high level if we assume they grow just as fast as his Level.

"Thank you for the compliment."

"It wasn't one though!"

'While they snickered at each other, Lefiya took a look at the Vials and asked:'

"What about the other vials?"

"Those?... They are the successors I made, each has different effects, as for the rest, it's the antidotes."

"Can't go around with Poison and not have an antidote, right?"

"I guess so..." She said with an awkward smile

'He grabbed one and quickly commented:'

"This one I made of the power of the Purple Moth, but it's super weak, it barely itches, well, you know very well the effects of their poison, everyone knows that."

"I guess it's useful as a pepper spray?"

"Pepper Spray?" Tiona asked with interest

"A form of a defensive spray that you use on... Monsters, yeah..."

'Silver grabbed another Vial while they thought about what he just said.'

"This one was made from the poison of the Dark Fungus from the Forest section of the Middle floors. It's rather strong, and I can't take it like that, it makes me a bit dizzy."

My next target is the Poison Vermis, its poison is so freaking strong and deadly that only one person in Orario can detoxify it, that being Armid, the strongest healer.

Another reason why I am so adamant about training Cassandra as her healing Magic has a certain room to compete with her.

Of course, that is only for people without Abnormal Resistance, as long as you have at least an H in it, the poison will at most make your body very hot like in a cold.

The combination of the DA, a basic antidote, and your constitution value would be more than enough to detoxify it.

Following it would be the Peluda from the Lower floors, it is one of the most poisonous monsters known... It has no antidote for its poison, so if you get poisoned, you have to make do with what you have.

And since it's a Deep floor monster, good luck getting back to the surface to be treated by Armid in time.

'As she heard his explanation, Loki playfully shook the poison vials...'

"Just dizzy huh?..."

This seems pretty strong to me though…

'She then smiled.'

"So so? What's next? Do you go to the Dungeon blindfolded? Or do you perhaps have something better to…"

"No… Well, I mean, I did blindfold myself once but…" Silver said as he thought deeply

"I knew it!"

'Silver started to sweat slightly as he replied.'

"But I can't really say that was part of my training…"

"Sensory deprivation is something I tried before, but because I normally have so many things going on, doing so just makes it way too dangerous." Silver said as he waved

Although I should indeed try it out again.

'Riveria looked at him and said with a small, rare smile.'

"That's big after all you said."

"Hahaha..."

"As I said before, I normally scout the floor thoroughly and learn its environment, growing used to how monsters move and behave, where are the exits and entrances before doing any training…"

"Each dive to the Dungeon is backed by many hours reading books, understanding the environment of the Dungeon and the monsters inhabiting each floor, so don't think I just go in blind."

"Oh? I didn't think you were the scholar type, no offense of course." Riveria said

'Silver scratched his head, understanding why she said that.'

"It's okay, I know very well how I look and sound."

"..."

They aren't bad adventurers, and despite all of the hardships they went through to be here, I think their way of thinking is still too...

Conservative.

'He started to remember the words of a certain Elf, and the very fact that before them, the Zeus and Hera Familias used to rule Orario.'

'Knowing their existence, he can't really take them... Seriously at all.'

'Silver remained silent for a few moments until he said:'

"For me... You know... An adventurer... Is meant to break his own chains, surpass his limits, to get closer and closer to God, this is what I believe and the path I have chosen to follow."

"Whatever you all have decided for yourself, that is your correct path, there is no need to belittle yourself with others, this is what I think."

"Focus on your desires, listen to your heart, and break the shell around you."

'He raised his head, taking a deep look at Loki and Ais...'

"Besides this, are you all now satisfied?"

Notes

Now that the chapter has ended, I hoped that those readers that were wary of the Mc being a pushover or were simply going to say his secrets have gotten some inner piece.

I don't expect all to disappear, and I even have some inner fear that they have increased...

I wanted you to understand that, between telling something of little worth to him, getting favor in the process, and simply telling them to... (Insert reader's words) Fuck off!... He would gain more doing this.

His Skill was kept a secret, but his way of training was shared.

This isn't really that much, why? Remember the fact that Loiju tried to make a Level up summary, but he was rejected by the Guild?

This is it, the information that would've been released within it, in fact, it's only a small part of it.

He didn't even go into how he always goes alone, and how he fights large waves of monsters.

How he uses luring powder and such.

There is a lot of information he has yet to share.
