123 Enjoying some time off
Another weak has passed, and here I am for another chapter.
This one is more of a light chapter, not really anything serious going on, but it does set some groundwork.
This week, I'll also probably post a side chapter, it was one I've been wanting to release for a long time but didn't manage to due to me waiting for the story to reach this point.

'It was currently nightfall, most people were either going back from work or the Dungeon, spending the early night in the many inns and bars around the city.'
'Some were going to the entertainment district, the only place in Orario where you could gamble...'
'As for Silver, he finally arrived at the Guild.'
'He was currently wearing some casual clothes, a pair of stylish brown pants, a black shirt with a high collar, and shoes.'
'Without wasting any more time, he got inside the Guild.'

'He saw a few lights still on, and a few people walking around the place, some were guards, others were normal workers, some going home, others, just arriving.'
'Most likely, the night shift was starting and the morning shift workers had already mostly left.'
'There were those that worked when the sun was up and there were those that worked when the sun was down.'
'And there were also those who worked during both times... True workaholics.'
'The Guild never stopped, it couldn't. If it were to do so, by morning, the amount of work would be simply enormous.'
'Silver ignored most of them as he didn't know them, and went to the balcony, looking at the tables beyond it.'
'And there he saw his target, a tired Elf with dark circles signing some documents at a fast pace, sitting on a desk with a small magical lamp to illuminate it.'
'He smiled slyly and raised his right hand, pointing his index finger at Loiju…'

'A cold wave of air was blown towards him…'
"HII?!" Loiju said in surprise, startling the people around him
'He looked at them in embarrassment, but without wasting a single more second he looked at the balcony and as he expected, the perpetrator of this event was there, looking at him with an innocent expression.'
"That son of a…"
Can't I even work in peace?
'Loiju calmed down and got up, going to Silver…'

/6 minutes later…/
"Are you ready?" Silver asked
"Yes yes, my work was done long ago, I was just working overtime for the extra pay and to make sure tomorrow's work is done."
"You always work overtime…" Silver said as he rolled his eyes
"And even so, I'm always filled with work." Loiju replied with a shrug
"Theoretically, I'm 2 weeks ahead of my schedule…"
'He then turned to Silver and said with a half-smile:'
"And I'm also being paid for this extra work."
"So you have no need to go to work tomorrow, Is that correct?" He asked as he rolled his eyes
"Technically, I could remain home for the next 2 weeks but I would lose my extra pay…"
'But Loiju then understood his meaning.'
"What are you planning to do?"
"Heh, all food and drinks are on me today." Silver said with a smile

'Loiju suddenly felt his back go cold… So he hastily replied:'
"Now I remember… Tomorrow I…"
'But Silver ignored him and said:'
"Too late for that now buddy. And you can't say no, I'm a Level 2 adventurer and you're just a domestic Elf."
"Help! Someone Help! He's kidnapping me!... Wait, what did you say?" Loiju said out loud with a frown
'But the other Guild workers simply ignored him, even Rose who was nearby simply gave the two of them a side glance before resuming her work.'
"Shall we go?"
"Look, what made you think I'm a Domestic Elf? What is even a Domestic Elf?"
"I'm a proud…"
'And as such, the two made their way outside…'

"This place again? So you only wanted to share some drinks? Why didn't you say so?" Loiju asked as he looked at the Pub in front of them

To be honest, I didn't have any other high-quality pub in mind, I really need to explore Orario a bit and learn about a few more places.

"Welcome, Nya! OH!" Said Anya as she saw Silver and Loiju
"It's been a while since Anya saw the two of you together!" She said with a smile
"You don't say? This dude has been super busy." Loiju remarked ironically
"Say's who?" Silver asked with a smile as he rolled his eyes
'He turned his head to Anya and asked:'
"Do you still have some chairs near the counter?"
"Yes, Nya!"
'Anya then led Silver and Loiju towards a pair of chairs near the balcony.'
'The first one to greet them was Mama Mia, who was cleaning a cup with a smile on her face.'
"It's been a while since I saw you coming here at this time kid." She said
"Things have been very busy recently… A bit tough even." Silver said as he scratched his head
"What about you? Has business been going well?" He asked
'Mia smiled and said as she continued to wipe the cups:'
"About the same as any other day, albeit..."
"Nah, it's nothing really important." She said as she shook her head
"So? What can I get for you two?"
"I don't know, today, this guy pays for everything." Loiju said as he pointed at Silver
"That's rare, did you hit your head too hard in the Dungeon?" Mama mia said surprised
"Not you too…" Silver said with a tired smile
'He grabbed the menu for the day and said:'
"Alright… Then, give us today's special, and 2 orange juices."
"Isn't that… Quite boring?" Loiju asked, disappointed
"Tsk, you better watch your tone, I'm not done yet." Silver said with a devilish smile
'Following that, Silver pointed with his finger towards every single alcoholic drink Mama Mia had… And a large bowl of beans.'
"I want a small cup of everything, one for me, and one for him."
"Today is the day I'll figure out what is the best."
'Loiju's expression suddenly became ashen…'
"I see it now… You brought me here to die!" He exclaimed loudly
"Heh, enjoy the rest of your petty life while you still can then." Silver said with a smile
"If you don't make it, I'll order a pretty coffin for you out of my own pockets, don't worry, it'll be of the highest elven wood quality..."
'Loiju's eyes twitched...'
"You… Urg… Just do what you wish to do…"
I won't be able to work tomorrow at this pace…
Perhaps not even the day after...
'Mama Mia smiled widely and even let out a laugh.'
"Are you sure you brought enough coins for your daring act?" She asked in a serious tone
"I'm pretty sure I did, but in case I don't I'll pay the rest tomorrow."

'While Loiju started complaining to him, Silver relaxed, turning his face to the side.'
'He saw Syr, giving him a gentle greeting, so he smiled and greeted her back…'

'Loiju suddenly pulled his head, twisting his head so he would face him…'
"You brought me here to die, and now you ignore me and flirt with a pretty girl in front of me?!"
"Do you want to die so much eh?! Don't forget who's the person behind making your reports!"
'Silver rolled his eyes again for the millionth time and said:'
"I wasn't flirting with her, even if I wanted to, that would be impossible as the girls in this place have a wall around them that's thicker than the Dungeon's walls…"
"Besides... I would be shooting myself in the foot if I were to try anything considering who their boss is..."
"Is that so? I think the only thick thing here is your head." Said a voice behind him

"Oops, looks like that was all the time I had, bye bye!"
'She then left with a small wave.'
'But soon enough, a playful cat teased Silver by tickling him with her tail when he wasn't paying attention… Almost making him turn around and grab it but he knew better.'
'He wasn't ready to die yet.'
'And after a little while, a beautiful Elf came to him with their food.'
'Her expression was as cold as always, but when Silver greeted her with a smile, she smiled at him as well.'
'And then he turned to face the food with an innocent expression as if this was extremely normal…'
'This made Loiju super pissed!'

'As they ate their food and talked, Silver thought of his reasons for coming here.'
'He didn't come here just to play around, although he was indeed having some...'
'Silver had a reason far beyond just repaying his friend with some expensive drinks.'
'He wanted to test some of the drinks Orario had to offer, and see how effective they really were… In making someone drunk.'

'Mia let out a small sigh with a smile as she said:'
"Alright, that's enough for today, you drank too much."
"I know, I didn't plan on drinking anything els..."

'Silver was suddenly startled by her as she slammed her hand on the counter, leaving behind a small note.'
'Silver grabbed it and read its contents.'
"By the Heavens" He said after he read through it
'He grabbed the pouch on his waist and put it on the table.'
"My head hurts, count it for me…"
"Buwahahaha!" Mama Mia said with a rare laugh
"Hai hai! Allow me to count!" Syr said as she approached the counter
'She looked at Silver with a smile.'
"Don't… Don't even think about it." Silver warned Syr
"Hm? But I haven't done anything yet."
"I know, and I hope it remains as such…"

'Syr counted the coins and took out the exact amount before giving Silver the rest.'
'He didn't even count it, instead, he got up, went to the bathroom to wash his face, and went back to the counter to grab his friend.'
'He put his on his back like a sack of potatoes and looked around.'
'With a small smile, he said goodbye to everyone and went back while dragging the knocked-out Loiju.'

'On the streets, Silver slowly recovered as he used his Plasmids on himself, thinking…'
Today was quite a trip… It was fun, I needed something like this.
Albeit next time, I'll aim for a lighter activity...
Still, I now have a clearer understanding of how strong these drinks are.
Some were strong enough to send Loiju to another Dimension in a single sip, while others were just tasty.
But none were strong enough for what I wanted.
Now I understand why Soma is so expensive and dangerous, it's supposedly stronger and more addictive them anything I drank today.
"Looks like I'll have to seek one out myself…"
The drink that is made by Dyonisus himself…
Once I have that, only one thing…
I'll have to test how effective a Goddess of beauty Charm is… How it feels when it's used against me...
Just in case things go South.
I already have a way for that, I'm just wondering to myself if I should try it out or not.
'Silver raised his right hand as he took out a clock from his pocket.'
"Looks like I won't be able to visit her…"
I'll do it tomorrow morning once I fully recover…
'Silver continued to drag his friend around the place, and it was then that he realized:'
"Where the fuck do you live?" He asked Loiju
"ZZZZzzzz…"
"I thought as much… Fine, you'll stay at my place for today, be honored…"
"This will probably be the closest you'll ever sleep to a girl within the next 10 years."
'And like that, they went home…'
'The tired Human and the drunk Elf…'
