'From the side, everyone started running even more fiercely, getting ready to evacuate behind the safety wall they built, leaving the ones who would fight behind.'

'And those people were... Tione, Tiona, Ais, Bete, and Lefiya.'

'They were all wearing a different sort of clothing mixed with their usual gear, it was similar to a swimsuit, but not the kind you would use on the beach, kind like a diver's suit.'

'It was a mixture of many sorts of Magic Items and enchanted equipment, gear that was made to maximize, or better put, decrease the impact fighting inside water could provoke on them.'

'Within this sort of environment, falling inside the lake was naught inevitable, so when that happened, those clothes would help them maneuver inside the water, potentially saving their lives, or what'll likely happening, preventing them from getting too injured.'

'Not to say, those clothes were extremely heat resistant… And albeit that may sound counterintuitive considering they were surrounded by water, Amphisbaena, like many other Dragons could also breathe fire…'

'One that would continually burn even when in contact with water.'

/Tremble.../

"Time to go." Silver said as he touched his bag, getting ready to teleport away from the lake

It's more chaotic than I expected, well... Goliath's birth is also rather 'bombastic'.

'Silver vanished from his spot, just a moment before a large wave engulfed it, reappearing a few dozen meters away next to the other members of the Loki Familia.'

'He didn't stay next to the Top Executives though, they had other priorities right now such as making sure everyone was fine.'

'So he simply stayed somewhere nearby, morphing the rocks near him into a seat and opening his backpack, grabbing a small snack to nibble on as they fought.'

"Show me what you can do."

The more I know about them the better.

Despite everything, the future is unpredictable, and you never know...

'With a small smile, he turned his attention from the chaotic lake to the group of 5 adventurers, raising his senses to hear what they were saying…'

"... WHATEVER! JUST GIVE ME THE BUFF ALREADY!" Bete exclaimed at the top of his lungs as he saw that things were taking too long

'Ais was suddenly shaken awake, her knees stopped trembling as she raised her sword, wind gathering around it as she slashed her sword at Bete's boots.'

/Cheng!/

'The wind dispersed upon contact with the boots' gems, but strong winds formed around Bete's feet as he jumped high into the air, flying in it like Ais!'

"Ais! You'll stay behind and protect Lefiya, we'll push it to the shore!" Tione exclaimed as she rushed after Bete

"You can do it!" Tiona said with a smile as she jumped forward

'She swung her double-edged great sword like the blades of a helicopter, it didn't help her fly at all but she had fun doing it, it worked like a quick warm-up.'

"Let's go Urga!"

"S-So… Excuse me Ais!"

"I…"

/Nods/

/Ching!/

'Ais didn't say anything to Lefiya, merely reading her sword and standing in front of the Elf girl as she raised her staff and closed her eyes to focus, forgetting about the chaos unfolding in front of her eyes…'

'It was not like she was unafraid, on the contrary, she feared the situation she was in, but she had trust in the golden-haired girl in front of her, enough trust to put her life on the line and chant without a care in the world.'

'Her lips parted, and a song echoed in the cavern...'

"~I wish upon the name of Wishe.~"

'It was the magic that made her the promising successor to the Elf sage and possibly the future greatest Magician…'

'Bete slammed his foot down, sending one of the heads onto the ground where Tione was...'

'She plunged with her Kukri knives, taking away the right eye of the left head... '

'Lefiya's eyes were still closed, and sometimes, she could feel the breath of the beast...'

'But she couldn't stay like this forever.'

'She was far from done, there were people waiting for her, she had to finish what she started, or else it would be all in vain.'

'Opening her eyes, now focused, a blue and complex string of intertwined magical circles with her foot as the center formed on the ground.'

'They were full of complex runes and symbols, enough to make the eyes of a common man roll.'

'She saw the massive two-headed Dragon locked in a fight against Tione, Tiona, and Bete, they seemed more focused on waiting around rather than jumping in the water.'

'The same could be said for the Dragon, it was clearly holding itself back as it had yet to release its mighty breath…'

"~Blow with the wind before the twilight.~"

"~Closing light, the freezing land. Blizzard, the three severe winters~"

"~My name is Alf!~"

'The magic circles flared as the wind started to grow cold and the water around them froze…'

'This was her mentor's magic, the first level of Riveria's attack magic Vas Windheim.'

"!! Get ready!" Tione exclaimed as she moved away from the shores of the lake

"ROAR!"

'The left Dragon head smacked Bete away, but he planned for this since now, he had repositioned himself further from the lake.'

/Crack…/

'He fell on the ground, sliding with incredible agility as his feet dug onto the rock.'

"Eh?"

'Seeing her two companions flying away with ease, Tiona was left dumbfounded…'

"ROAR!"

'The right head tried to bite her, but she merely punched upward, forcing it to close its mouth.'

'Shaking her hand in pain due to how hard the Dragon's scales were, Tiona ran away with tears in her eyes, her fist bleeding considerably as the Dragon recoiled into the lake due to Tiona's full strength punch.'

'A strong gale of wing burst forth in front of her, turning the ground white, and instantly freezing all water it touched.'

'Snowflakes started to form in the air due to the high water density and up above, the mist started to condense due to the cold…'

/Clack clack…/

'And hail started to fall.'

'Back in the spectator seat, Silver grabbed a small snowflake.'

'He didn't say much, letting go of it before it melted.'

"ROAR!"

'Back at the lake, the cold wave hit Amphisbaena out of nowhere, surprising it, as the water on its skin and around it froze, trapping it in place in a very awkward position.'

'It roared fiercely in defiance, but the cold was too much and even its face was entrapped in ice…'

'Even the waterfalls froze solid into huge pillars of ice.'

/Silence…/

'The world was overtaken with ice, sharp pillars of ice were scattered all around as the waves of water were turned into solid terrain...'

'This was the power of this tiny Level 3 Elf.'

/Thud/

'After casting her spell, Lefiya tumbled forward, only to be grabbed by Ais.'

"Haaa…"

"You did well Lefiya." Ais praised the tired Elf, touching her head

"T-Thank you…"

"Get your ass up quickly and start chanting, this isn't over yet." Bete said in a deep tone as he looked at the frozen monster

Far from done.

'Lefiya didn't bicker at all, instead, she grabbed one of the few blue vials from her waist, a Mind potion, chugging it down before cleaning her lips.'

/CRACK!/

'When it seemed everything was over, the ice around the monster cracked and steam rose into the air…'

/SHAA!/

'Like a kettle with boiling water, steam continued to pour out of the many cracks that started to form around its shell…'

"Get ready Ais!" Tione exclaimed

"Uhum!"

"Ariel."

/Fwoosh!/

'As the wind ravaged around her, the Sword princess drew her sword with renewed focus, now that there was no more fear of falling into the water, her confidence was skyrocketing.'

/BAM!/

'All of the ice surrounding the monster Rex burst in an instant together with a blue pillar of flames.'

"ROAR!"

'The true fight starts now!'

/A few minutes later.../

"HAAA... That was fun." Tione said as she plunged her Urga onto the ground, using it as a cane

"A Boss monster is a Boss monster, even if we are on the same level." Her sister replied as she wiped her forehead

'She turned back, looking at Lefiya who was now collapsed on the ground unconscious.'

"It was all thanks to Lefiya though, I don't think we would've been able to deal with it had she not frozen the upper section of the lake."

"At least not without some injuries." She said in deep ponder

/Nod/

'Ais nodded to the side, sheathing her sword as she looked back, not finding her target.'

Where is he?

'Nevertheless, she shook her head, there was no need to worry about him.'

"Excuse me!!..."

'As they recovered, a group of people ran to their location, they were the supporters of the Loki Familia, ready to help them heal up, and also to pack the loot in the area.'

"..."

You did well.

'Taking pity on the unconscious girl, Ais kneeled on the ground, helping Lefiya rest by using her legs as a pillow for her...'

'Not long after she did that, someone approached her.'

"Are you hurt anywhere?" A bunny girl asked as she held a box full of red potions

"I'm fine." She replied as she shook her head

'The bunny girl sized her up before smiling, turning to look at Lefiya.'

"Here, she doesn't have any injuries but a headache due to Mind down is rather painful nonetheless, this should help."

"Thank you..."

"Why are you thanking me when you're going to feed it to her?"

"Well then, take care Ais!"

'She turned around and ran, making her way to Tione and Tiona...'

"Hm..."

But how do I feed this potion to her?

'Ais was confused...'

'After taking up the potions and recovering, Tione and Tiona made their way to Ais and Lefiya.'

"Good work Ais... And Lefiya." Tiona said with a smile

Huhu! Wasn't I cool?!

Although this was our first time fighting it alone, it was easier than I thought.

'Tione stretched, asking:'

"Anyway... Shall we go?"

/Slap!/

'She pulled her swimsuit in a very suggestive way without realizing it, making it slap her skin.'

"These clothes are too tight and uncomfortable, so let's change before it's too late."

'The girls nodded, so very carefully, Ais bent down to grab Lefiya.'

'Bete on the other hand was overlooking the area from atop a large rock, making sure all of the supporters managed to drag the massive Magic Stone away together with the other drops.'

'Amphisbaena usually drops its Liver, an alchemical item, but it also has a chance to drop its skin and scales, teeth, claws, bones, and other body parts.'

'Losing even a single drop could cause Millions of Valis in damage.'

'Eventually, the girls went back and changed clothes, but Ais and Tiona were the first ones to realize something...'

'Where was their strange guest?'

'So they did what was most sensible and went to talk with their Captain...'

"He did what?!"

"As I said... He talked with us not so long after you guys defeated it, saying he was honored to have seen us fight..."

"Not long after that he simply vanished, I barely had the time to stop him." Riveria replied with a shrug

For a moment, I felt a function of Magic Power near the top of the Great Fall, so I think that's where he went.

For us, it takes hours to reach there, unless we move individually, I may not be as Agile as Finn, but climbing the waterfall isn't hard in the least.

Albeit I wouldn't do it, as my cloak would get all wet...

But for him, it's a step away at all times.

Now I understand why he felt so bored, for him, our pace should've been too slow.

But there is nothing I can do about that.

"Huh?... What a bummer..." Tiona said with a small complaint

"But he did leave behind a message."

"Hm?"

'Ais was interested in this.'

'Not only her, but the others too, even Bete seemed somewhat curious.'

'Finn smiled helplessly, but there seemed to be some amusement and determination in his tone as he spoke:'

"He said that next time, he would take it down... Alone."

"What?!" Tiona exclaimed with her eyes shinning

'Tiona, Tione, Bete, and Ais were in disbelief.'

'But for some reason, they felt that his words...'

'Had a certain degree of truth.'

'At the same time, Silver raised his head and squinted his eyes as he looked at the sun.'

"I missed this."

'An adventure had ended, now it was time to Level up!'

And there we go.

Initially, this was the place where I wanted to end the Volume, but after thinking about it for a bit, I realized that would go against my initial idea for this Volume.

So we'll start the Arc of the end now.

There were a lot of things going on in this chapter, not for the Mc, but for those around him.

I struggled a bit regarding how to make Ais and the others fight Amphisbaena.

I know from the Novel that Bells team and Aisha together Cassandra and Daphne struggled greatly to fight it, but that was because their team was composed of a few Level 3s boosted into 4 and the booster Level 5 Aisha, so it was kind of a suicide attack, but they survived by a miracle...

Anyway, I thought this was enough.
