128 Confrontation: The Mutant and the Werewolf
We're back every one with another week!
In the end, Webnovel went back on their actions and opened the web browser for people to see... Rather ironic.
Of course, I'll continue to post on other sources, just in case.
Also, this action was the main thing that made me take a step back in regards to making a contract with Webnovel, regardless of how big it is.
Aside from that, I'll only be posting this chapter this week, I need to catch up with my other Novel chapters, there is quite a lot to do.
In the situation I managed to do it earlier than expected, than I may post another chap.

I came here to investigate, but so far, it seems she truly knows nothing it all, it could due to the fact that she is just a dunce, but that pretty much clears my suspicions of her…

"It's nice to see you all okay… But shouldn't you all be resting after a tiring Expedition?"
"Silver… Didn't you tell me you were only going to be back? later? As usual?" Hestia asked confused
'Silver nodded.'
"Indeed I was, however, I decided to come back to take a look at a certain friend of mine before going to the Dungeon after finishing my usual business on the surface…"
"I'm glad I did that now though, else I would've missed you all..."

"YOU!" Bete exclaimed as he came back running ferociously with his brows furrowed
"Hello." Silver replied with a thin smile as he waved at the angry werewolf

'Loki and the others suddenly opened their eyes wide!'
'It wasn't enough that Bete miraculously decided to stop, but he was now being taunted?!'
"This son of a bitch…" Bete said with a small smile as he turned around
"Oi oi, insulting my mother? Is that necessary? Sit down and have a snack, that'll calm you down..." Silver asked as he raised his right eyebrow
The furniture in this room is quite expensive and even though I doubt he would lose it and lash out at me, the chance of something breaking is high…
Better not risk it any more than what I already have.
"..."
'Before Bete could process things, Silver raised his right hand and said:'
"How about we forget what happened last time and start over?"
"Ha!"
'Bete's confused expression turned into a twisted smile as he looked at Silver, because it was clear to him what he meant...'
"Don't waste my time!" Bete said as he turned around, ignoring his handshake
'Silver rolled his eyes.'
"After coming all the way here, are you going to leave with that? I expected more." Silver taunted
Level 5... They must think I'm insane... And in a certain way, even I think it's rash.
But... If he comes at me without a plan, I can guarantee that even if I lose, he won't find it fulfilling in the least.
For a prideful person like him, what's the point of winning a fight against a Level 2 after struggling?
It would do little to enforce his point, the contrary would happen, and he would feel deeply humiliated once more… Me on the other hand, would gain a lot, be it as an experience, or for my reputation.
Yet... On the other hand, I simply want him to shake my hand.
Because from the beginning, I have nothing against him, I find no solace in fighting with a guy that is honestly, extremely pitiful.

Notes
This chapter used to be extremely different, but I changed the way he interacted with Bete since this was around the time I started to read the Manga.
And seeing Bete's true personality, I found out I had done him dirty.
I'll post the original version on Volume 0 if you're interested.
I'll do this for each of the next 3 chapters since all of them have been altered.
