Chapter 11

As we stare at the Silverback Gorilla swinging from branch to branch "Were at a disadvantage we should lure it towards an area it no trees" I suggested since the gorilla has the high ground "Or you can just use your fire to burn the trees" Alise suggested I instantly declined "No if I do that the scent of the Hipokte grass will be overpowered of the smell of burning trees".

"Elijah~kun's right Alise" Kaguya backed me up "Jeez I was just suggesting," Alise said "I guess we'll go with my plan, starting by luring this overgrown ape outside the forest, first I'll aggro it you guys should go first," I said "Be careful Elijah~kun," Both Alise and Kaguya said to me before running on the opposite direction.

The silverback noticed the girl leaving it started to laugh and banged his palm to his chest, seeing this I smiled and put my spear back into my inventory, I copied the gorilla by banging my palm towards my chest challenging it, when the silverback saw this it accepted the challenge it suddenly jumped down causing a small earthquake.

The silverback was meters away from me it suddenly jumped towards me with its fist clenched attempting to punch me, I brought my spear and tried to sidestep it, noticing it was too late I jumped in a last attempt to dodge the punch, barely dodging the attack I stepped on it's faced and used the momentum to stab the ape with my spear with the tip that was set ablaze, it injured the apes back but there was little blood coming out of the wounds since the spear was on fire it sealed some part of the wound.

After that, I changed my attack from thrusting to swinging while sliding on its back, with my attempt the silverback squirmed left to right from the wounds and 2nd-degree burns, jumping off its back a dozen meters away, the silverback touched its wounds and it flinched a little I noticed this and quickly said "Don't worry I'm just getting started" Elijah quickly ran towards the overgrown ape with his spear strapped to his back while forming both of his hands into a palm and said "Fire dragon's wing attack" Fire speed out of his hands and swung it towards the ape, the ape was immobilized for a while from the attack.

Giving it no chance to recover he clenched his fist and used 'fire dragon's iron fist' and punched the ape on its chest, it flew a few feet away from Elijah feeling the heat of the battle he used 'fire dragon claw' it set his feet on fire and used it as jet propulsion and flew towards the ape and use 'fire dragon's flame elbow' stream of fire ignited on his elbow just like the fire dragon claw it propelled his arms increasing the strength of his punches.

The ape was punched on its cheek and flew a few feet, a few seconds later it stood up on its feet with its bloodshot eyes and despite being injured it ran towards the trees and grabbed a long and thick branch which look like a little smaller than a log, after that it ran towards Elijah swinging the branch, Elijah jumped and dodged the attacked and the ape used the momentum of the swing, it made a 360 and threw the branch towards Elijah.

Elijah ignites both his hands in flames and then brings them together, creating a fiery explosion he used 'fire dragon brilliant flames' the explosion destroyed the branch and created a smoke cloud suddenly a fist appeared and punched Elijah in the chest luckily Elijah's arms were close to each other giving enough time to somehow blocked the attack, he was sent flying towards the trees and he coughed up a small amount of blood "Ghah".

Elijah stood up a few moments later and looked at the ape he grabbed his spear on his back which was ignited on fire and took a stance, in the smoke, a large silhouette was seen it suddenly jumped and the silverback appeared out of the smoke with its fist clenched when the fist was closed enough Elijah side-stepped it and the punch hit the tree instead, using the momentum he rotated his ankle into a circular motion together with his body while using 'fire dragon claw' to strengthen the swing when Elijah's spear hit the nape of the silverback decapitating it in the process.

Elijah sat down and was silent for a moment whilst his heartbeat was beating fast, a few moments later he calmed down and looked at the head of the now-dead gorilla he suddenly remembered something and laughed "hahaha" while laughing heartedly suddenly a rustling sound was heard and 2 girls appeared with weapons on their hands it was Alise and Kaguya Alise looked at me and said, "I thought the plan was luring the Gorilla outside the forest not fight it?" I looked at her with a smile "I totally forgot about that" I said with a smile "Having the power to defeat or even kill these types of monsters you really aren't normal huh Elijah~kun" Kaguya said towards me she went near me and inspected my body for some injuries.

"Hah if I were normal I would've died there we can't have that since I'm still not an adventurer," I said jokingly towards Kaguya who was finished applying some bandages on my arms which were bruised as well as my back "But still you could have died so be careful next time," Kaguya said, In which I chuckled and reply "Heh why would you guys care if I die we only met just a day ago," I said curiously I want to know what both of them think about me, Kaguya and Alise looked at me with a serious gaze, I sweatdropped on their reaction.

"So what,? were friends right, it's normal to be worried if a friend of yours fought a huge gorilla and got injured in the process jeez, you may be smart but you are sometimes an idiot," Alise said while gazing at me seriously "Alise~chan is right Elijah~kun, we may only met a day ago but that's enough for us to start a friendship, besides not only your strong your also handsome and cute" Kaguya smiled whilst teasing me, I gave them both a toothy smile and said "Well I'm flattered that you found me cute and handsome hahaha, I feel little better now thank you," I said towards Kaguya she nodded and reminded us.

"Now let's find that grass" She got up and brought a grass out and gave it to me, I sniffed the grass when I familiarize the scent of the grass I stood up and walk towards deeper inside the forest, we encountered different types of creatures both Kaguya and Alise insisted me stay down and let them handle it I agreed and just observed, a few moments later we reached the place, we saw many hipokte grasses and started plucking them I told them to give it to me to hold on it, a few minutes of plucking later we gathered it created a mound of hipokte grass, having the urged to jump on It but resisted it and put all of the hipokte grass inside my inventory they looked at me with a shocked expression I chuckled and said "Just think of it as a spatial magic"

The both of them nodded with a shine that can be seen on their eyes Alise suddenly said "That's a very useful ability say If I have that skill I wouldn't have to carry a bag when shopping say what Elija~kun why not join me on my shopping" Alise said, I grimaced at the sight of me getting dragged across Orario "I don't know about that Alise since I may or may not be busy" I said towards the red-haired girl.

"Ah, what about coming with us Elijah~kun we were planning on going to the hostess of fertility after this? me and Alise were planning to invite you after this was over as a sign of thanks and after that, we will split the rewards on the quest" Kaguya said I was planning on declining the invite since 'Freya' 'worked' at the Hostess of fertility "I'm sor-" As I was about to decline I was stopped by Alise "You can't say no, it's the least we can do after splitting the money" I was silent a few moments and finally decided to agree on the invitation.

We went back to the dead Gorilla and I stored the corpse inside the Inventory since the skin of the gorilla was a tidbit stronger than normal leather it can be used in the future, we exited a forest and walked towards the lake and gave them a few of the corpses which Alise and Kaguya killed and continued our way towards Orario.

So what do you guys think of the action? the spear techniques that Elijah use is focused on momentum and efficiency each swing he strikes it can be followed with another swing or thrust it's a self-made technique since i want his fighting style to be unique and as you can see he can use his fire magic on a certain degree like using it as a propulsion, what do you guys say about the interaction now creating an action scene is a little easy than the interaction but I'll improve later on so you readers can enjoy it hehehe i have also i will be putting some fighting styles from different manga or anime Especially from The manga Kingdom and i have been planning on giving Elijah a bo staff hahaha well that's for the future and i also decided to speed up the time the mc will join a familia but that's for the next chapter the romance in this fanfic will be slow thee girls will grow their feelings overtime this is also not a gotta catch em all harem hahaha sorry to disappoint you well that's enough babbling bye bye
