I observed the screen which unsurprisingly was more useful then any sentient system could be. It clearly stated why I hadn't leveled up which saved me much of headache! The only thing that did irk me was that much like requirements for acquiring skills the requirements to level up weren't anywhere to be found. 

I guess right now it doesn't really matter as I have to focus on my skills right now but if by then I haven't leveled up I'll try different things and see what works. Hopefully, I won't have to go through all that trouble! 

Now my skills, how should I train these? I don't have to worry about Hand-to-Hand combat because that will be leveled as naturally as breathing I don't plan on giving that a break. Cleave will definitely be one to train as its a lifesaver plus a good secret technique! Reverse Curse Technique will also be a good one. Yeah, these should be good starter skills to train and if I master them quicker I can move on to the bigger skills! 

Spiderweb and Hollow Wicker Basket are just variations of cleave and simple domains. The former being kind of like an AOE and the latter being an anti-domain technique! Wait...there aren't any domains here except mine. I should try Fire instead then if I master it quicker I'll move onto simple domain training! 

'Finally.' 

I turned my gaze to the front of the cave opening where light was making its appearance. The morning had finally arrived which signified both a new day and the time to start the grind!

[2 hours later] 

[Requirements met! Skill: C.E manipulation has been successfully acquired!] 

I opened my system to see this prompt after killing an army of ants. Their bodies were ruby red and they looked valuable but more importantly they looked kind of good. I-I can't believe I just considered that! I know I sacrificed my sense of taste but it doesn't mean I don't feel the texture. E-Eu!?

'Why did acquiring C.E manipulation take so long to obtain? Is it because I finally used to cover my whole body instead of just applying to a single part? Strange...but whatever I got the skill naturally instead of buying it. You think my advanced knowledge would help in acquiring these skills but theory is different then practical use!' 

Moving on, I gathered some sticks, leaves and other dead weeds to lit a fire. I grab a few of the ant corpses beginning to roast them over the fire. As for any spices or anything else? Why would I waste my time on that when I couldn't taste anything!

[Three months later] 

Bang~! Bang~! 

Currently, I am fighting a tiger and a pretty strong one at that. Our fist collided and with each punch a sound similar to snapping trees resonated throughout the surroundings! I wasn't using any C.E or any reinforcement so the tiger and I could be on equal playing grounds, it was my current training partner after all. 

[Hand-to-Hand Combat(4-->5/10), Footwork(2-->3/10), Cleave(7/10), Dismantle(6/10), Fire(4/10)] 

In these last three months, I made outstanding progress especially in Cleave and Dismantle since I could use these skills outside fighting to. Slicing meat, Stone, even water or the ground. There wasn't a moment when either Cleave or Dismantle weren't being utilized in some way! Even then, I still hadn't master them which made me realize that using them more in combat should help. More accurately, in situations that can be considered life and death battles but as far as I know this forest is lacking in that aspect.

"You need to step it up, vermin. I don't wanna waste too much time with you" 

"ROARR!!" 

The tiger infuriated by my words which surprisingly it could understand making it better then that bear charged with all its strength. I side stepped to the left and kicked its side sending it flying well if you call 5 meters flying. 

Bam~! 

The tiger collided with the ground and its appearance was awful but now I had finally achieved my objective. The tiger's eyes were blood red and a crimson red aura was radiating off its body! 

"Now that's what I'm talking about!" I dashed forward which the tiger met with his own charge. Unlike our previous bouts, in this clash I activated my C.E to coat my fist with the sickly green energy to enhance the power. 

"ROAR!!!" 

The tiger jumped and swung its claw diagonally from the right down to the left clearly trying to dismantle my body. However, I met its paw with my own left fist and the collision...turned the thing into paste! 

POP~! 

"Tch! Damn thing got my pants dirty." I kicked the guts in front of me in aggravation and I turned back to go to my makeshift home. I made sure to avoid any guts or body parts along the way because I didn't want to get my feet dirty with such a disgusting maggots remains!

[3 months later; 6 months since training started]

 "ROOARRRR!" 

"GRRRRAAA!" 

"CAWWWW!" 

A Tiger, Bear, and Eagle all charged in to kill me. Sure, I killed their children but they had no reason to be so aggressive it must be because they are wild animals. What else could you expect! 

The eagle swooped down to which I ducked but instantly I was met with the tiger who had its mouth open towards my head. I covered my feet in C.E and used the enhancement to quickly move my body to left but the bear was ready! I seemed to have found some experience beast which was perfect. Now, I just need to get them enraged. 

"All three of you are weak just like your kids! However, they were fun to kill at least unlike you three. Shouldn't parents be better then their children? I don't see how you expect me to feel joy if you don't try!" My inner demon, which I had deemed it, was slowly but surely becoming easier to control. Sure, I couldn't negate the urge to kill and the joy of slaughter but now I didn't lose myself completely. 

If anything I truly became like Sukuna in terms of control. I could switch between my urges and logical side nearly seamlessly, however I couldn't deny that some of the traits had completely fused with my base self. So somethings weren't about control but choosing the time to reveal these traits of mine! Fortunately, I was myself regardless of what happened or what could happen which was all that mattered to me. 

Sukuna's traits are helpful in battle without them I probably would be very lets say...bitch made. Yes, that would be accurate! 

Anyways, my words hit were they were suppose to and the three predator beast in front me became enraged but unlike their children it was clear that they had more control over themselves in this state. Perfect! 

[Current Skill Proficiency: Cleave(9/10), Dismantle(9/10), Fire(6/10, H-T-H(7/10), Footwork(6/10)] 

The enraged tiger zoomed and vanished from sight. I truly had no time to react with my current stats even if they were all S-Grade (900's). This meant that this enraged tiger was deadly to me without C.E! 

The beat and Eagle timed their follow up attack perfectly with the eagle taking my body launching it in the air and the Bear putting its paws together and striking down. 

BAM! 

"Cough! HahahaHAHAHA!" I let out some blood but that made my blood boil. My face was plastered with a sadistic grin! I hadn't experienced anything like now at all since reincarnating not to mention before. This feeling of adrenaline and battle was wonderful! 

Swoosh~! 

I coated my entire body in Cursed Energy, the sickly green covering my body! I dashed out with enhanced speed, I discovered that coating my body in C.E brought my physical attributes to one grade higher. 

I appeared in front of the tiger that managed to get me, I couldn't let this vermin think it was superior! 

"Heh!" I coated my hand in cleave and swung down. The tiger sensed death and retreated but I wasn't going to let it get away! 

"GRAHH!" The bear came to the tiger's rescue but also to its own death. I backhanded the bear with my right hand which I used a medium to active cleave the moment I made contact! 

Bah! 

I cleaved the bear into mincemeat but that was irrelevant. 

"CAW!" The eagle managed to injure me as it swung its claws downward at my back. Tch! A bloody gash covered my back but utilizing RCT and normal CT my injuries quickly. RCT and CT were used to create neutral energy because my body was half-cursed spirt and half-blessed human. I needed a new energy to heal my vessel. Something I came up with right now actually! Battles like this were truly wonderful! 

I turned my body quickly catching the enraged eagle off guard completely, I activated Dismantle piercing the eagle with multiple turning it into something similar to bigger mincemeat! The tiger was now the only one left. I turned my attention towards the tiger with the same sadistic grin on my face, I could feel it. 

"Hey." I walked closer to the tiger whose enraged state was clearly vanishing overwhelmed by fear. 

Swoosh~!

I vanished and reappearing in its face. Looking down on the beast, I grabbed its head bringing it to my eye level. 

"Die." I activated cleave but at the same time lit the tiger ablaze. I didn't won't guts dirtying my pants again!

Requirement: Obtain RCT, learn a new variation of C.E using CT and RCT.

[3 more months; 9 months of training total]

3 months passed since my fight with the tiger, bear, and eagle. In this time period I trained even harder. Spiderweb rose all the way up to 10/10 because of my high-level understanding of Cleave. I also managed to raise the proficiency of Fire to 10/10. Leaving me to train H-T-H, Shrine, Domain Amplification, Hollow Whisker Basket, and Domain expansion.

H-T-H was at 9/10 in proficiency while the others were at 0. Domain Amplification and Hollow Whisker Basket could be leveled up practicing Simple Domain but I hadn't made much practice in that department. Sure, I had the knowledge but applying it for the first time was hard!

The essence of Simple Domain was simple it was created as a counter for domain expansions. Simple Domain neutralizes a domain's guaranteed-hit function by affecting its barrier and not the imbued cursed technique. This was in the knowledge I acquired but now the question is actually applying it. Its not like any here has a domain for my to analyze to learn from! 

Maybe I could create a Simple Domain but using knowledge from those wuxia novels. I remember Dao's having different domains based on cultivators knowledge of whatever path they chose. I could also utilize binding vows but that's a dangerous thing to play with as a beginner. Sukuna's knowledge doesn't help much in this regard either that mf was powerful and experienced, I'm not! 

'I've hit an impasse. I'll just have to try and see what works.'
