Adreal vs Yuno and the squad

Yuno and Adreal were both ready to fight with each other. All of audience highly anticipating this match.

"Dont disappoint me Yuno!" Adreal told Yuno who was readying himself for the battle. "I won't you shouldn't take me lightly" Yuno said with his usual expression. "Wind Magic: Decending Tornado" Yuno chanted as a huge tornado formed above the arena and crashed towards Adreal. Adreal too was impressed by the sheer size of that spell but there was nothing he couldn't counter. Adreal's grimmore hovered over him because his grimmore was covered with pitch black magic nobody noticed the abnormality of his grimmore. He extended his hand towards the tornado his hands were covered with black flame like smoke "Withering Magic:Crumble" Using his magic as soon as the huge tornado touched his hand the wind started to dissipate as if it was burned out of existence.

Everyone was suprised by how the magic disappeared as if it wasn't even there in the first place. 'Is it anti magic like asta?' Yuno thought. Taking a deep breath he immediately casted other spells 'If he can crumble a spell with just a touch the how about if I attack him with many spells from all sides.' "Wind magic: Multi shots" A huge wind bow appeared in front of him and he shot many arrows towards Adreal. 'Impressive' Adreal thought as he then gathered wither magic in his hand but instead of covering his arm he shaped the magic in the shape of a black skull not just one but he created 16 skulls with withering magic "Wither Magic: Corroding skull" As soon as skulls touched the arrows made of wind the arrows eroded and soon no trace of them was left. Before Adreal couldn't go over 6 skulls but he sooned he realized why he couldn't he couldn't go over 6 skulls before because he couldn't control the withering magic properly after he got better handle over his magic he can create as many skulls as his mana capacity permits.

The captains were still completely shocked by this outcome not only could a participant cast high level spells repeatedly but another participant easily dispelled it.

'I wont lose so easily' Yuno thought and fired another volley of spells. Adreal also countered it with his own spell. The battle went on for some time but eventually Yuno started to burn out his magic. His mana capacity was larger than Adreal but since his magic control was not high he wasted a lot of mana and was not efficient as Adreal. In fact, Adreal had barely used any magic. His mana regeneration was higher than the amount of magic he was losing currently this was because Adreal only used basic and low level spells to deal with Yuno's mana and hasn't used his main offensive spells yet.

Yuno tried every spell in his arsenal his magic was strong and fast although Yuno was inexperienced his performance deeply impressed the captains. Adreal on the other hand was bit of a wildcard he came to the exam on a tree easily dispelled a high level without using a grimmore and now was cornering an individual with pure defence only.

"How about we end it now Yuno?" Adreal said. Yuno knew he couldn't last longer so he focused every bit of his power only leaving enough for him to be able to stay conscious after this ordeal. "Wither Magic: Falcon's dash" A huge giant bird materialized in front of Yuno and dashed towards Adreal the captains and the participants were amazed by the giant eagle. Adreal smiled and his grimmore turned "Wither Magic: Domination " his hand immediately got covered by black energy but unlike Crumble this time the magic on his hand was like a solid coating he than punched the Falcon the coating on his hand expanded and annihilated the falcon with a single touch not only that the shockwave from that punch impacted the entire arena Yuno couldn't stand it anymore and got blown away but before he collided with the wall Asta suddenly appeared out of nowhere "YUNOOOOO" an annoying voice shouted and grabbed Yuno but he couldn't stand the shockwave and clashed against the wall instead.

*Silence* no sound was heard only the smoke was clearing in the arena everyone wanted to know what the hell happened. Then they saw it... a boy with silver hair standing straight his grimmore now was already inside its cover. In the other side were two boys Asta was catching his buddy Yuno while Yuno was barely conscious.

"The duel is over, The winner is Adreal!" Captain vengeance's voice permeated in the entire stadium. *Applause* a huge applause was heard from the audience they just saw a fantastic battle right now and were excited.

"Thank you all for giving your time in this event now I advise you to rest well. In the evening we will conduct the final selection thank you!" Vengeance's voice again filled the stadium and after another round of cheers the participated quickly went in their own way some stayed in the arena since they had nowhere to go.

The halls were once again filled with participants and before long the selection began. Like in the original Asta went to the black bulls and Yuno went to the golden dawn since he appeared last in the exam he was called last finally his name came he entered the stage and to his surprise only Vengeance and Yami raised there hands. 'What?' Adreal thought he scored the highest in every test and even decimated Yuno who was selected by every captain.

Seeing his confused state Nozel the captain of silver eagles spoke "you were strong in everything yes but you arrived late which would prove that you are unpunctual you also didn't show much remorse to it furthermore your magic is both dangerous and mysterious and dangerous hence most captains didn't select you." Nozel finished his statement. "Although what Nozel said was true I see potential in you to be in our squad the golden dawn you have dangerous magic but didn't directly attack the other party showing your intention to not harm him more than necessary hence I thought you would be a wonderful addition to our squad of elites." Vengeance spoke his intention. "I dont have any fancy speech advertising my squad I just think you'll fit there." Yami said.

'Okay, my initial plan of staying away from the main groups is out to the trash since I only have two options I either have to go to the main protagonists group and get involved in the troubles there or go to the main antagonist's group whose captain is the main bad guy of the first major arc kinda. sigh why can't I just join a group like the silver eagles or the crimson lions and live relatively peacefully.'Adreal thought.

"I made my choice I choose the..... Golden dawn." Adreal said Vengeance smiled whereas Yami just shrugged he already got one excellent candidate cant be greedy anymore he thought. Like that the magic knight exam was over and I got into my squad.
