Chapter 6

The first status page that appeared before Madara belonged to the red-curly hair man who is named Ingres.

The next status page belongs to the muscular man of the group whose name is Yagos and following Yagos was the status page of the brown-haired handsome guy who's name is Danny.

Following Danny's status page is the status page of the bald-headed middle-aged man who's his name is Lucas and finally, the final status page that appeared before Madara belongs to the leader of the bandits and his name Hanson.

'Hmm, that's some nice status page. Well now that I know their strengths and magical attributes the next thing to do is to take the captives to safety.'

Madara wasn't surprised at seeing their powerful status because he expected it from the moment he saw them when he activated the Mind's eye of Kagura's ability earlier.

"I'm just a traveller passing by, as to why I attacked you. It's because while I was travelling I happened to come upon a burning village with all of its people killed, a survivor of that village asked me to kill those who are responsible."

Madara relaxingly replied to their question with a calm and indifferent tone.

"Hahaha!!!"

The bandits who heard this could help but started laughing at Madara when they heard him because, from their observation of Madara's appearance, he was no older than twelve years old and without a grimoire around him that must be his true age because only fifteen years and above could get a grimoire.

While the bandits were amused. Four of the five men standing in front of them were far from that, they were furious at Madara for what he said. They can all see from his appearance that he is a kid and without any grimoire on him meant that he was below fifteen years old so having someone like that saying he was going kill them really angered them.

The leader was no different from the others because even though he was cautious of Madara because he couldn't feel his Mana, he was irritated at the fact that a kid from nowhere wants to challenge them.

"Kid, be careful about what you say unless you are tired of living. Scratch that, you are going to die anyway. Do you think because you were able to get a lucky shot at our carriage, you can threaten us?"

Ingres was the first person to speak after Madara's threat because he was the most pissed-off person in the group right now. Earlier he had his nice celebration interrupted and then the culprit responsible for it turned out to be a kid who also threatened to kill them which pissed him off even more.

The other four nodded their head to what Ingres said as they all felt the same way about the situation because having a child who doesn't even have a grimoire challenge them made them feel like a joke.

"Brother, let me put an end to this kid's life."

Ingres came forward with his grimoire floating in front of him and was ready to attack.

"I don't care whether you believe me or not but before you die, there is something I need to know."

[Genjutsu: Sharingan]

Madara quickly activated his Sharingan and placed Ingres in a genjutsu and read through his memories to get the information he wanted.

'Hmm? Something is wrong with Ingres's Mana flow. What did this kid do to him and what are does eyes? Why are my instincts screaming at me to get away from here?'

The leader of the bandits Hanson noticed immediately that something was wrong when he saw Madara activate his Sharingan.

"Ingres be careful, that kid is not simple."

Hanson warned his brother but it was already late.

"Ninja Art: Hiding in the mist Jutsu."

After Madara was done reading Ingres's memories he cast the [Ninja Art: Hiding in the mist]. The jutsu covered an area of two kilometres with thick and dense mist never without any water in the area.

'Now that I know which world I'm in, it's time to rescue the girls.'

With that thought in his mind, Madara went after the five girls in the carriage.

"What's going on, why is there a sudden fog?"

Meanwhile, Ingres who came out of the trance he was put in when Madara placed him in a genjutsu looked around him only to see his surroundings covered in thick fog.

"You guys should be careful. That kid is no normal brat, I couldn't feel his Mana from the very beginning."

Hanson warned the others which shocked them because he was the most powerful person among them and also the one who was sensitive to Mana so him not being able to sense Madara's Mana really stunned them.

"No way, how can you not be able to sense his mana brother?"

"Yeah boss, how can that be possible."

"Now is not the time to talk about this. Yagos create a wall around us and let's wait for the fog to clear out."

"Already on it, boss."

"Metal Magic creation: Iron Wall."

Yagos called out his grimoire and cast his spell. A spell that created an Iron wall from the ground and surround his group leaving the other bandits alone to defend themselves.

Madara came back to where the bandits are after he sent the girls to safety.

'Now that the girls are safe, it's about time to finish the bandit's mission.'

[Quest: Revenge

The first village you encountered has been destroyed by bandits. Take revenge for the innocent villagers.

Objective: kill the bandits (25/5)

Reward: 1× Summoning animal, 10,000 SP.]

'Before I attacked the carriages they were twenty-five but five died from my jutsu leaving only twenty behind. Those five created a barrier around them leaving the remaining fifteen to fend for themselves. I first go after those outside the barrier and then kill the other five after the mist clear's up. I could also pass through that wall with [Kamui] and kill them but what would be the fun in that if they don't fight back with how strong they are? Hahahaha.'

A grin appear on the corners of Madara's lips after he made his plan of attack. He summoned a katana from his inventory and disappeared from where he was standing.

*SLASH!!*

'This my first time killing a human being yet I don't feel anything. Is it because they are bandits?'

Madara thought to himself after he killed the first bandit and appeared behind the bandits one after the other and attacked them.

"Hey, Lados? What do you think created this mist?... Lados?! Lados?!!"

*SLASH!*

One of the bandits notice the abnormal situation and tried to talk to the person near him but that person wasn't responding to him. He turn around to look at the person but he got his head slashed off by Madara.

"That the tenth person, five more to go."

Madara continued to take down the bandits until the last person was killed leaving the five leaders in the Iron barrier.

After he was done with killing off the low-ranking bandits, Madara cancelled the [Ninja Art] and the mist began to disperse little by little until it was completely gone.

Hanson and his group inside the Iron barrier also notice it. Yagos cancelled his magic and the Iron wall started to disappear.

"That annoying mist finally cleared out."

Ingres muttered to himself after the Iron wall disappeared.

"Talking about the mist, what created it. Could there be other people other than that kid and they used him as a distraction for them to strike at us."

Lucas asked his group because the appearance of the mist is mysterious to him.

"I didn't sense any person other than that kid and it is impossible for him to be the one since his magic attribute is earth so there could be other people and they are hiding their Mana signature from us."

Hanson replied after carefully thinking about it.

"That also explains why you couldn't sense that kid's mana, right brother."

"Hey guys..."
