Chapter 17
*SWOOSH!!*
Madara's sudden appearance shocked both Sol and the two bandits but before they could even react to it Madara had already disappeared from there and appeared behind them with his katana now unsheathed from its sheath.
"You shouldn't have attacked this village."
*SLASH!!*
*TUMB!!*
Madara said softly before he decapitated the bandits into two separate sides.
"Are you okay? Sol."
Madara caught Sol who was about to fall after she lost the support of the bandit that was holding her and asked which for some weird reason made Sol blush instead answering.
"Y-Y-Yes I'm okay."
Although it took a while Sol managed to squeeze a reply to Madara's question.
'Who is this man? He looks familiar.'
Sol, although she was grateful for the person who saved her. She was also curious as to who he is and the more she looked at him the more she thought he looks familiar.
"Do I know you?"
Sol asked Madara if she knew him after thinking so much and still couldn't figure out why he looks familiar.
"What are you talking about? Sol."
Madara looked at Sol with a raised eyebrow when he heard her question as he did not understand why she would ask that when they saw each other just a few hours ago.
"Are you the person who killed those bandits?"
Before Sol could give an answer to Madara's question a feminine voice spoke up from above them. Both Madara and Sol looked up to see the person who asked the question.
The person was a tall woman with upper-back length blonde hair that is tied back into a bun with only a single lone braid hanging down on the left side of her face while she has bangs swept to the left side, light blue eyes with visible long eyelashes and full pink lips.
She was standing on top of a magic Carpet and was wearing the blue rose magic knight squad robe. There was also some other female magic knight with the same squad robe standing behind her.
'Huh! Isn't that Charlotte?'
Madara recognized the woman the moment he saw her and she was non-other than the famous squad captain of the Blue rose magic knight, Charlotte Roselei.
"Are you going to answer the question or not?"
'Who is this man?'
Charlotte blushed even more as she asked Madara in a stern voice when she noticed that he was not answering her question and was just staring at her. Although she spoke coldly just now deep inside her she was curious yet also interested in Madara because for some reasons unknown to her the more she look at this white-haired young man the faster her heart beats.
"What if I am? Would I be in trouble?"
Madara stopped staring and responded in an even colder tone when he heard Charlotte's cold voice.
"...!!"
Charlotte was surprised by the cold response that Madara gave her. Usually, she was the one giving the cold attitude and not the recipient so it felt uncomfortable and at the same she was embarrassed.
'Why am I so nervous right now?'
"N-N-Nothing. There is nothing wrong with that, I just wanted to know if it was you."
Charlotte nervously studded when she was responding to Madara's question and it shocked the girls behind her because they had never seen or heard their strong captain shudder when she talks.
"Captain?!!"
They all said under their breath as they could somehow understand the reason behind their captain's behaviour because they too were also nervous when looking at Madara.
"Our job here is done so let's head back."
"Yes, captain!! Huh!"
The blue rose magic knights were about to fly away when they suddenly felt a large amount of mana heading towards their way. They look to where they felt the mana and they saw a ball of flame heading their way and inside that flame was a red-haired girl. That girl was non-other than Astrea who sensed Madara's mana and headed over there.
*BANG!!*
The ground cracked due to the impact of Astrea's landing.
"Madara! Ahh! Who are you and why are you naked?"
Astrea rushed towards Madara right after she landed but when she saw him she screamed out and covered her face before asking who he was as she didn't recognize him.
"...?!"
Madara began wondering what the hell is wrong with this girls, first Sol didn't recognize him and he can somehow understand that because he just met her yesterday but for Astrea who he has spent three months with to be asking him who he is really stunned him.
"Wait! That pants, that sword and your face... Are you Madara?!"
Astrea finally realized that he was Madara after a closer look at his face and sword.
"Yes, it's me "
"What?!!"
Both Astrea and Sol screamed out in shock when Madara said it was him because he doesn't look anything like the Madara they saw a few hours ago. Their reaction prompted Madara that something was wrong with him so he asked the system and the system showed him a picture of his current looks, Madara quickly understood the reason behind his transformation so he was that much shocked about it.
"I will explain later. Now, what happened to the rest of the bandits?"
Madara told them he will explain about his sudden change in appearance at a later date and asked about the rest of the bandits. Astrea nodded her head and told him everything that happened while he was going through the fusion process.
'Madara is so handsome!!'
Astrea's face got even redder as she thought to herself after she was done telling Madara about the bandits that she faced. For the past three months that she has been with him, there has not been a single day that she wouldn't feel strange whenever she saw Madara and she knew the reason but was afraid to tell him.
"Who might you be? young lady."
Astrea was brought back to the real world from her imagination when the cold voice of Charlotte spoke out. She has been observing both Madara and Astrea since the moment Astrea arrived and for some reason, she felt annoyed.
"Huh! Who are you, people... That robes, you people are magic knights."
