71 A Deal

"I'm back, but how? We needed the magic stone for the elves reincarnation..." Fana said with disbelief. She couldn't fathom how Madara was able to do such a thing.

"How did you..." Fana was going to ask, but she was interrupted by Madara.

"You are way less annoying when you aren't talking about hate." Madara from a few meters away from her.

"I have to take you back to, Master Licht." Can't said thinking of all her soon-to-be resurrected family.

"How about we make a deal?" Madara announced, receiving the attention of Fana once again.

"A deal?" Fana put her hand on her chin and began to think. "What is this proposition you claim?"

"A fight. If you win, I will join you and Licht." Madara said, making it sound very tempting.

"A fight? Ok, and if I lose?" Fana asked because he hadn't stated what would happen if she lost.

"If you lose, you will join me. And I will show you the truth behind the elves demise." Madara declared, causing Fana to flinch.

"The truth... The truth is that the humans betrayed us! You should-" Fana said, before being interrupted again.

"That's the truth you believe. Take my offer and be enlightened." Madara said making Fana's blood start to boil.

Madara, a descent of the elves, trying to justify what the humans did. Wait, how did does he know what happened over 500 years ago?

Never mind that. Madara, who thought he knew everything, coming to someone who experienced it first hand.

She could only blame the humans and Madara himself for being so ignorant. Even if they were two of the same people, fear seemed to get through people.

When she made him cowering in fear before her, then she would educate him about the truth.

With her anger with the humans and Madara, her and the fire spirit, Salamander started changing. It was evolving, going through an evolution.

The Salamander became monstrous. It grew more muscle, its claws darken, and a dark stripe forms under its eyes and neck.

A cloak of fire surrounds Fana as everything was going on. On the outside, it was red, on the inside, it was orange.

'Yes! Now I can test out my theory.'

"Don't kill him. He is quite strong so injure him, heavily." Fana told the Salamander.

Before, she had the Salamander hold back. Now, she had a reason to nearly kill him. The Salamander opened its mouth, forming in his mouth was a large ball of fire.

Instead of a ball, it was a stream of fire. Seeing this, Madara descended to the ground and cleared the area using spatial magic.

Suddenly, his grimoire started to shake, violently. Madara unclipped his holder and his grimoire shot open. It's started to write a new spell.

[Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation]

Madara looked in awe for a moment, because he hadn't copied anything from the Salamander. One of the first, original spells in his grimoire that he didn't have to copy.

Back on Earth, Quinn didn't take the time to learn the hand seals, though he could have it seemed like a waste of time.

But he did remember the last hand seal to one of his favorite jutsu.

-Juan-

He put his hands together, to make the hand seal. He took a deep breath, I mean a deep breath.

Feeling the warm feeling in his chest, at the same time, both he and the Salamander released their attack.

A large sea of fire spewed from Madaras' mouth and a large ocean of fire left the Salamanders mouth.

Of course, the Salamanders fire was better than Madaras' in every way possible. Fana scoffed at his attempt to compete with the fire spirit.

If Fana paid close attention to the situation, she would've seen that Madara was going to try and overpower the Salamander.

The spirit with the strongest attack power. A being made of pure mana. What sane person would do such a thing?

When both attacks clashed, it was obvious who was winning. But Madara was putting up a good fight against the Salamander.

The Salamander was constantly taking control over the clash and Madara had to fully concentrate or he would be engulfed in flames.

"Do you think that you can beat my Salamander? Hahaha! You're just as crazy as those filthy humans!" Fana laughed from above, seeing Madara struggle to gain control.

Her smile then quickly faded seeing that Madara had yet to be consumed by the flames. Her heart rate started to increase, seeing him holding his own against it.

Her eyes widened and her face showed unmistakable wariness. The only one she'd thought could go against the Salamander was Licht.

"Kill him!" Fana was blinded by rage for a short moment and have the command.

The Salamander followed her command and increased the intensity of the fire. Once she saw the intensity increase, she immediately regretted her decision.

She wanted to take Madara back alive, but they could have an elf possess his body. Although that could work, the elf may not know how to use the special power Madara possessed.

"It's too late. I'll just have to take his body back when I get the magic stone." Fana whispered to herself.

"Madara! I thank you for bringing me back. You will fulfill a great purpose once I get you to, Master Licht!" Fana yelled loud enough for Madara to hear.

The Salamanders fire was beginning to completely overpower Madara. The heat coming from both attacks was backfiring on Madara.

His clothes started to burn from the heat. His shirt was completely burned and his pants started to burn too. Once that happened, the heat started to attack his skin.

Feeling that it was only a matter of time before the flame consumed him, he was not going to go out without a fight.

That's when he felt a spark in him. Like a match that was a few inches away from a gas leak. An itch he couldn't scratch. The feeling that a sneeze was coming.

He needed that one push. The push that would show him what real fire is like.

What Madara thought he did, he didn't. He thought he mastered his fire and water attributes. But he was naive to think he could achieve something like that in only 15 years.

He was back at square one, but a real fire user. The Salamander was pushing him to master his flames without knowing it.

With the Salamanders and his flames approaching, Madara closed his eyes for a moment. When he opened them, he was in a dark void with different color doors.

Red, blue, black, yellow, etc. But there was one door open, the orange door. The feeling coming from the orange door felt like his sun magic.

"Is this..."

Madaras' thoughts were interrupted by the shaking door. The door that was shaking, through the cracks, Madara could see the color changing from red to purple.

It was as if the door was calling to him. The door was drawing him toward it. Before Madara went toward the door, he went to another.

The blue door. He tried to open it, but it was locked. He tried pushing, but it wouldn't budge. Madara gave up on that because he was getting nowhere.

He then made his way toward the shaking door. Madara grabbed the handle, then twisted it. The door was unlocked, unlike the other.

Madara pushed open the door and the previous red light, change into a purple one that consumed Madara.

Madara looked in shock for a moment before the light became almost blinding.
