Chapter 4: Charlotte Delimma!!!

Father Orsi looked at Ben with a concerned expression on his face.

"Ben, are you feeling well?" Father Orsi asked with concern in his voice.

Ben, who was cursing his system for giving only 5 aliens, suddenly snapped out of his thoughts at the sound of Father's voice.

"Father, no... no, it's just that I am very excited right now." Ben looked at Father with a gentle smile. Father's concern made him feel a little happy that someone was looking after him in this world.

Both of them arrived at the orphanage, and the kids who noticed Ben surrounded him, curious about his Grimoire.

"Brother Ben, show me your Grimoire." Asta came running towards him, carrying a basket of clothes.

"Ben, you've come. Congrats on getting your Grimoire." Sister Lily looked very happy to see Ben with his Grimoire.

"Not just any ordinary Grimoire, Sister. He got the legendary four-leaf Grimoire." Father Orsi, who was standing beside Ben, puffed his chest and boasted about how Ben got his Grimoire.

"Is it like the one the first Wizard King had? Does it bring good luck to the user?" Sister Lily explained the significance of the four-leaf Grimoire to the kids present there.

When the kids heard about the four-leaf Grimoire, they looked at Ben's Grimoire with awe.

Asta looked at the Grimoire with a twinkle in his eyes, while Yuno looked determined, his eyes fixed on the Grimoire.

"Ben, are you going to start your journey to the Magic Knight exam today or tomorrow?" Father looked at Ben, waiting for his answer.

"Uh... I will start tomorrow, Father," Ben informed Father that he was going to the royal capital.

Ben looked at the mission given by the system.

Ben arrived at the Magic Knight exam site, carrying his luggage.

He looked around the site; the exam site looked majestic with more than hundreds of people applying for the Magic Knight exam from various villages.

It was a grand colosseum, and on top of it, there were statues of every Wizard King so far, with the first Wizard King's statue placed in a higher position.

The streets were full of shops selling different kinds of things, and the streets were bustling with activity, like on a festival day.

Ben placed his luggage in a safe spot and joined the line of people waiting to register for the exam.

Even though the line consisted of both commoners and royals, one could easily distinguish Ben by his unique white hair and green eyes.

After waiting for a long time, Ben arrived at the registration desk.

The receptionist was in a daze, looking at Ben standing before her.

"Ahem..."

There was no response from the receptionist.

"Ahem... ahem..."

Ben coughed twice again and startled the receptionist. Then she realized what she was doing, and her face turned crimson red.

Ben took out his Grimoire and showed it to the receptionist for registration.

"Sorry for the earlier delay. Now I will..."

While apologizing to Ben, the receptionist's gaze shifted towards the Grimoire, and she was shocked to see the Grimoire in Ben's hand.

After a second, her eyes widened as she looked at it.

"I... it's... It's a four-leaf Grimoire!!!" The receptionist exclaimed, looking at the four-leaf Grimoire in Ben's hand.

"What do you mean, a legendary four-leaf Grimoire like the first Wizard King?" People present in the registration area started to exclaim and speak to themselves.

Ben got his number plate, No: 88, and entered the exam site where the exam would take place.

When Ben entered the arena, he saw many Anti-Birds pecking at the heads of many examinees inside the arena.

Due to the mana emitted from Ben, no Anti-Birds came near him except Nero, who was sitting on top of his head.

Everyone in the arena started to talk, looking at Ben and his Grimoire with jealousy in their eyes.

"It's not fair! How can a peasant have such a handsome face and, on top of that, a four-leaf Grimoire?" Some even started to speak loudly enough to be heard by Ben.

Hearing this Ben's lip started to curve upwards looking at the men giving him a jealous look.

he looked at the girls beside them when his eyes with them there was a slight red on their cheeks.

"Hi beautiful are you here to take the magic knight exam too," Ben asked them with a gentle tone giving them a wink.

"Yes...yes..."

The girls started to sutter words looking at Ben's handsome face. this made the faces of the men standing beside the girls turn ugly looking at the scene taking place before them.

suddenly there was an aura unleashed upon the participants present Everyone's attention was shifted to the captains who were entering the room at sitting on the chairs prepared for them.

The first one to enter was Jack from the Praying Mantis, followed by Rill of Aqua Deer Fugelean from Crimson, Charlotte from Blue Rose, Dorothy of Coral Peacock, and Yami entered the room while smoking and sat on his place.

Nozel Silva captain entered the room late followed by Gueldre Poizot captain of Purple Orcas

Charlotte's POV...

The captains of the Magic Knights were waiting outside the room, chatting with each other about the participants who registered with a four-leaf Grimoire.

"Sister Charlotte, what do you think about the new examinees this time?" Sol, who was standing beside her, asked her.

"Don't call me sister; call me captain," Charlotte reprimanded Sol.

Charlotte was deep in thought, thinking about something.

'He should be coming here today for the Magic Knight exam, right? Will he remember me? How can he forget about me? Should I recruit him to the Blue Rose? Will he choose the Blue Rose? But the Blue Rose only accepts female Magic Knights... What should I do...'

There was a war going on inside Charlotte's mind. Without paying attention to her surroundings, she opened the door to the room prepared for them.

Immediately, she was attracted to the unique silvery white hair. When she looked at the figure, there was a short circuit in her mind.

When Charlotte was processing the information, Sol, standing next to her, looked at the captain and followed her gaze toward the white-haired boy.

"What is he doing, flirting with girls there? Doesn't he have any fear regarding the examination?" Sol, not knowing what was going on in her captain's mind, said with an irritated tone.

'Yes, flirting... wait... what!!! How can those girls flirt with him!!!'

Charlotte released her mana pressure on the crowd standing in the arena, which brought weird looks from the captains entering the room and moving past her, giving her a weird look.

'As expected of Sister Charlotte, she hates this kind of man.' Sol looked at Charlotte with stars in her eyes.
