Chapter 32:WHO ARE YOU CALLING A CONTRACTED BEAST?

When Ben declared his magic could cause more damage in a surprise attack, others looked at him skeptically, except Charlotte, Nebra, and Luck.

But they kept quiet so as not to offend the two ladies before them.

'Is he a noble or a royal? But while introducing, he didn't say any surname behind his name. Then why does he seem to be chatting with them on equal terms? Isn't he afraid he might offend them?'

Dan, who was struggling with his inner turmoil, looked at Ben with a shocked expression.

He became a Magic Knight five years ago, joining one of the prestigious squads, Crimson Lion.

Even though the Crimson Lion treated him well, there was always a difference between royals, nobles, and commoners.

No matter how much a commoner strives, he will be easily suppressed by those royals and nobles.

Suddenly, Ben's body started to divide, and there were two Bens before them.

Even before they could exclaim about the two transformed Bens before them, the two Bens divided into four, then the four divided into eight, then eight divided into sixteen, then sixteen divided into thirty-two.

Now Ben and his body doubles or clones surrounded the whole camp in a circle.

'Is this cloning magic...?' Nebra looked at Ben curiously.

Because even though she had seen Ben training Noelle, she had never seen him using his magic.

When she heard Solid's conflict with Ben in her brother's cabin, according to them, he used powerful spatial magic or an illusion that caught even her big brother off guard.

According to her big brother, Ben had a kind of strong magic that helped him to transform and use different elemental magic more effectively.

But seeing him perform his magic before her made her feel more curious.

"Let's begin."

"ECHO... CHO... CHO... CHO... CHO..."

"All the 32 Bens sent a sonic scream towards the camp at the same time without giving away any opening."

Visible sonic rings were sent toward the camps, which caught them off guard.

The enemies present in the camps who got caught off guard by the sudden attack from 360 degrees were sent flying, while some covered their heads while screaming on their knees.

The camps were dismantled and became spoiled by the shock waves.

Some cast defensive spells on themselves after some moment, while some cast healing spells on themselves to recover from the attack.

Inside the camp, Sirius was devising a plan on how to trap Charlotte during their mission of kidnapping orphans from the Hage villages orphanage.

He suddenly felt a chill down his spine.

He looked around with narrowed eyes, trying to find the source of this feeling.

BOOM...

"What..."

THUD...

Then he was hit by something he did not recognize and was sent flying. He fell on top of the wooden table, and the tent collapsed on top of him.

After Ben's attack, one of the investigation squad didn't waste any time and jumped in and started attacking.

Being caught off guard, the enemies were put at a huge disadvantage.

Some even appeared before knowing what was happening.

Ben didn't sit idly; he started running towards the one who was still conscious.

"CHU... CHU... IT SEEMS LIKE YOU NEED HELP. DON'T WORRY, I WILL HEAL YOU."

"BEHOLD ONE OF MY SWEET VOICES, WHICH WILL TAKE YOU TO THE HEAVENS. ECHO... CHO... CHO..."

He started treating them with the utmost care by giving close-call sonic screams in their ears.

They were passed out while white foam came out, and blood was oozing out of their ears and nose.

"HEHE... HOW DO YOU LIKE THIS, BASTARDS..."

Seeing the passed-out Ben's duplicate shook their butts and taunted them.

"'Scary... we must be on his good side.'"

GULP...

These were the only thoughts in their mind.

'Cute...'

'Cute...'

Both Charlotte and Nebra looked at Ben's action with a red hue on their cheeks.

LUB...DUB...

LUB... DUB...

While their hearts started to beat faster.

They wanted to pinch his cheeks this instant but controlled themselves due to the ongoing mission.

"Briar Magic: Needle Trust."

While Charlotte was looking at Ben, suddenly, a few members recovered from the attack and wanted to sneak attack her.

But Charlotte didn't even turn back; she calmed down the spell while her grimoire was running the pages.

Sharp veins burst from the ground and pierced through the three attackers' hearts, starting to strangle them with sharp needles on the veins.

"AHHH...

AHHHHHHH..."

Screams of three men resonated through the battlefield.

BOOM...

One of the tents that collapsed was torn through an indigo spatial attack and went towards Nebra, who was dealing with enemies.

When Nebra turned back, she was greeted by the spatial attack.

"WATCH YOUR BACK!!!"

"ECHO... CHO... CHO..."

Before it could make contact with Nebra, one of Ben's duplicates jumped and intercepted the spatial attack with a sonic scream, which formed a shield before them.

DOOM... DOOM...

The attack hit the sonic shield made by the scream of Ben and was deflected into one of the trees nearby.

"Hoho, what is this creature? Is that your contracted beast or a spirit?" A voice came from the dust where the collapsed tent was.

"I can save myself. Humpf~" Seeing Ben save her from the surprise attack, Nebra snorted at him.

Sigh...

"YOU! WHO ARE YOU CALLING A CONTRACTED BEAST? I AM A MAGIC KNIGHT." Ben retorted the old man before him while shaking up and down.
