Gwen, Kevin and Ben cautiously entered the building through the huge hole that was blasted in the wall. They looked around and saw signs of a fierce battle. The walls were scorched, the furniture was smashed, and the floor was littered with debris.

They made their way to the table where the plumbers badge was kept. Gwen immediately picked it up and examined it for any irregularities.

"It's genuine, plus there's no one here," she said. "Whoever did this must have left already."

She noticed the burn marks on the table and the wall behind it. They were circular and deep, as if something had melted through them.

"These burn marks look familiar," she said. "I think I've seen them before."

Kevin nodded. He had a keen eye for details and could recognize different types of alien energy signatures already by this time. He wasn't an expert but he wasn't an amateur either. Plus the fire narrowed the list quite a lot. Moreover he personally knew the identity of the perpetrator here. He had a hand behind his creation afterall.

"They're from a Pyronite," he said. "A fire-based alien species. They can shoot fireballs, create fire blasts, and even turn their bodies into flames."

Ben looked confused. He had encountered many aliens in his adventures, but he couldn't recall meeting a Pyronite.

"How do you know that?" he asked Kevin.

Kevin gave him a sarcastic look in reply. "You turned into that same alien 6 years ago Tennyson. Your favourite 'Heat Blast'." Kevin replied with a smirk.

Kevin scanned the horizon, looking for any sign of movement. He knew they had to be careful, as whatever had made the hole in the building could still be around. He hadn't encountered that pyronite kid since 5 years. Moreover his memory had been erased before the Rooters were dispatched. The boy's state of mind was difficult to gauge.

"We should look out for whatever did this," he said. "It could be dangerous." He proclaimed with a frown. So this was his first mission. To avoid getting toasted by a pyronite.

The building was surrounded by vast farmlands, with no other structures in sight. It was honestly a setback, but there were benefits too.

"We should check from the height," he said. "The farmlands are too big and we would need a hell of a time to find him. But since the boy's a pyronite. It will be easier since his body would burn other crops and produce smoke." Kevin continued as he looked at the two cousins who were looking at him weirdly.

"Boy? You said it was a man." Ben asked confusedly.

Kevin groaned inwardly with frustration at his slip. Tennyson was smarter than he thought. He had managed to get the slip of his tongue.

"I will explain later. Plumbers secret. That's all you need to know." Kevin replied calmly. Maybe Tennyson would be better with the knowledge. The Omnitrix could be a devastating weapon in the wrong hands. He wouldn't want that considering he very much valued his life.

"Let's go up," Gwen said a moment later seeing the frown on Ben's face. She didn't want the two of them to fight on the topic now. It could turn ugly, considering Kevin was a plumber. "Maybe we can spot him from above." She continued seeing her efforts work on. Ben stopped glaring at Kevin while the latter remained calm and collected like always.

Gwen immediately conjured pink staircases of mana to climb in the air. She was going to take the first step when Kevin protested against it.

"We're going to tire ourselves out physically. And we haven't even got to the fighting part yet." Kevin cut off immediately. The farmlands was in hundreds of acres. Too much area to cover. He won't get tired but he couldn't say the same about the two Tennysons besides him.

"Yeah, let's not do that," Ben said in agreement with the plan. "We need to save our strength for the battle."

Kevin nodded and reached for his belt, where Tom was hiding.

"Tom, transform into H6 version," he commanded.

The Galvanic Mechamorph beeped in reply and immediately transformed himself into a giant saucer-shaped UFO, straight from the movies. He hovered above the ground and opened a hatch for Kevin, Gwen and Ben to enter.

"Woah!" Gwen exclaimed amazed seeing the UFO like saucer which seemed to have come from a sci-fi movie.

"Come on, guys," Kevin said as he entered through the hatch and went straight for the pilot seat. Gwen and Ben quickly joined him, and Tom closed the hatch.

"You sure know to drive it right?" Ben asked hesitantly.

"I do. Besides, if things go bad. Tom's there to take control." Kevin replied with a smirk as he gently made the UFO hover from the ground. The saucer shaped UFO rose from the ground and zoomed into the sky.

"Awesome!" Ben said, as he looked out of the window. "Tom, you're amazing." He praised to the Mechamorph dog who beeped in reply, showing the joy, it felt from him.

The three of them flew through some acres before they finally saw smoke coming from the distance. They reached there and saw a pyronite running from the crops while the cops were searching for him. He had fire coming out of his head. His body was reddish orange and his hands and legs were vivid with red hot plasma.

"He might be panicking or innocent." Gwen commented as she saw the pyronite trying to run from the crops hurriedly.

Ben shook his head. He didn't care about the boy's motives. He only cared about stopping him.

"No way," he immediately said. "He's running from the cops. That means he's probably a bad guy. And we're the good guys. So we have to catch him."

He extended his arm and activated the Omnitrix. He searched for an alien that could fly and chase the boy. The hologram showed an alien with a tail and wings after two turns. He had yellow and black skin, red eyes, and a green Omnitrix symbol on his forehead.

"That's the one," he said with a triumphant feeling. The Omnitrix might be new, but he still was getting good in figuring it out.

He pressed the dial and a bright flash of light enveloped him. When it faded, he was no longer a human teenager, but a flying manta ray-like alien.

"Jet Ray!" he shouted, feeling a surge of speed and agility. He got up from his seat and the hatch opened for him to fly out. He immediately flied out from the UFO leaving Kevin and Gwen alone.

Meanwhile, Kevin was focusing on something else. He had noticed something odd about the way the fields were set. They were not arranged in neat rows, but in a complex pattern. It was not normal.

"Are you seeing it too?" He asked to Gwen who was looking below where Jet Ray har grabbed the Pyronite and flew away from there.

"Ben and that Heatblast?" Gwen asked confused. Ofcourse, she was seeing it. Ben had caught the Pyronite and threw him fifty metres ahead with the help of his legs.

"No. Look at the fields. The pattern. They're not random." Kevin elaborated as he pointed to the fields below. The way the fields and patterns were set. It was definitely not normal or regular.

"Yeah." Gwen agreed as she took a look. The patterns were weird for sure. The UFO's glass suddenly saw the pictures of the entire area as Tom captured it and showed it to the two of them more elaborately.

"It's a circuit." Kevin and Gwen commented at the same time as they both reached to the conclusion immediately.

"What would need such a big circuit?" Kevin asked to her. It was more of a subconscious thing. He too wondered it inwardly. The machine would be hella big if the circuits size was anything to comment.

"It would be a really big machine." Gwen added with a frown. She closed her eyes and felt the presence of many people around the farmland with her mana. Not all presences felt normal. There was something fishy going around here.

"Tennyson take that boy away from here. Follow us." Kevin said into his Plumbers badge. He immediately pressed the button for the invisibility mode and flew straight away from there to two miles away.

"Got ya!" Ben replied from the other side as he shot a laser at the pyronite on the latter's chest. He immediately flew and carried him, trapping him in between his legs.

"Leave me alone. You freak." The Pyronite groaned as it thrashed around for getting out of the alien being's grip. He immediately launched a huge fire blast at the alien sending him apart from the flying alien.
