Back to the present (1)

Gojo Pov

I took the application form while i was still thinking of the interaction with Ren.

I wonder if i should go to immora with him. It might be a perfect place for me to train cause of difference in time and gravity level but, there is also threat lurking there.

Couple of <S> ranked demons. They will be a huge problem if i encounter them. Even if i use <Domain expansion> i would be still be weaker than them by a whole major rank.

It will be pretty risky to fight them alone and using Ren and Kevin is a no go.

They won't even be able to stand in the presence of my full power let alone those demons.

I let out a long breath.

"I will think about this when time comes."

I moved toward Donna's office while muttering those words.

I Walked along the corridors that lead towards the professors office area, inside of the main building of the B section, where Donna's office was located.

I was most probably gonna be the last student to submit the application as, i wasted a lot of time before coming here.

I stoped infront of a door with number 952 displayed on the side.

-Knock! Knock!

I knocked on the door, which i believed was the office of Donna.

"Come in"

A couple of seconds after knocking, Donna's crisp and pleasant voice traveled from the other side of the door.

"Excuse me…"

Heeding her order, opening the door, I soon spotted Donna sitting on her desk reading couple of files. Without glancing at me, wearing a pair of glasses, Donna's brows were knit in a tight frown.

-keumm keumm

I fake coughed couple of times to get her attention.

Donna looked at me without showing any indication that she was suprised by my presence here.

"..Yes..?"

She asked after a couple of seconds of staring at me.

"I am here to submit the application for exchange."

I informed her. I had decided to participate in multi academy tournament but i did not mention anything about it to Donna.

I was sure that she was gonna persuade me to join in the tournament. I am just gonna take advantage of it.

Is this morally correct? Yes, it is correct. I mean if killing is a norm in the society then little manipulation is obviously correct.

The society in this case is society of heros and villain.

"Yes, there was that…"

Nodding her head, Donna pointed towards her desk.

"Okay, put it on my desk here on top of the other applications"

I complied and placed the paper on her desk. On top of a pile of papers filled with sheets that were similar to mine.

"Alright."

As i was prepared to walk out, Donna called out to me.

"Student Gojo Satoru, do you think you can give me some of your time?"

Hearing her 'request', i smiled and replied.

"Are you asking for a date from me?

-gasp

How improper for a teacher to invite me,a student, to a date but, i can't reject your offer since i am such gentleman."

Donna was left speechless by my answer. Ignoring her state, i sat down comfortably in a chair across of her, looking like i owned the place.

"This is what they meant by your eccentric personality."

Donna muttered in a low voice but, i still heard her and decided to ignore that statement.

"I was really suprised when i saw your result in the midterm examination."

Donna started speaking but, before she could countinue, i cut her off.

"Meh, wasn't much."

I said with a smug face. I could she clear signs of irritation as her eyes were twitching. But, she decided to ignore my seemingly outrageous statement to continue on.

"As i was saying, after the examination i got curious of how you gained such skills and started researching your history. And i must say i was impressed.

Comming from a small clan of past and being an orphan, you were never recognised as a genius or part of the clan for the matter of fact. You have not even registered yourself as a part of your clan. Am i wrong student Gojo Satoru or should I say Satoru Gojo."

Donna stopped as she stared at me waiting for answers.

"Wow~, i don't know if i should feel flattered by the fact that a <S> ranked individual who is ranked 156th in heros ranking did such an extensive research on me

Or if i should feel threatened by an individual of your calibre."

I answered her half jokingly and half serious. She absolutely did not seem satisfied by my answer but, who can blame her really.

"On the matter of me comming from a clan, i absolutely had no idea. I had thought that my family was of a long lineage but, i guess not."

That answer seemed to have satisfied her for the time being atleast.

And when i really meant that i had no idea of me comming from a clan or should I say former clan.

"Well putting those matters aside, is that all you needed to talk with me?"

I decided to take initiative to change the subject matter as, the way conversation was moving was not much helpful to me.

"There is something else too. I would like for you to participate in the tryouts for the Multi-Academy tournament in a month's time."

"Not really interested."

As soon as I said those words, silence prevailed in the office space. Soon after, Donna's eyes shone slightly, and instantly a slightly overbearing yet gentle pressure bore down on me.

It was not powerful enough to make feel overwhelmed but was more then enough to make me have some difficulty to be completely mobile.

"Oh, you fared better than i expected."

As i heard Donna speak, i felt the pressure upon me that vanished as if it never existed.

I know i was playing hard with her but i had to get the same reward as Ren.

It was not what i need or am gonna ask but, i can make such demand only after she gives me reward for it. With such thoughts in my mind, the conversation between us continued.

Bitterly smiling, I couldn't help but ask.

"…do I have no other option but to accept?"

Amused by my reaction, snorting lightly, Donna said

"Of course you don't."

Resting the side of her cheek on her hand, Donna said

"However don't worry, I'm not going to ask you to do this for free…If you somehow pass the tryouts, I will personally coach you in preparation for the upcoming tournament"

"…hmm"

Seemingly falling into deep thoughts, i spoke out after a minute.

"Can i ask for something else in place of getting taught by you?"

Donna appeared to have gotten abit anger about me rejecting her offer of teaching but, she controlled her emotions rather quickly.

"Let's hear it."
