39 Increase Authority and Castle Upgrade

Zion was enveloped by light and vanished on the island in an instant, then entered his castle space.

He was greeted once more by the same wooden shack of a house in his so-called system castle space, but this time he was happy to see it because he knew how heavenly defying his system was.

When he was in danger, his system gave him a choice that could have resulted in his death.

But, rather than viewing the system as sinister for providing him with such a choice, he understood it. Even though he was weak from the start and couldn't bear the weight of the wooden throne, it was still his choice whether or not to pick it up.

Such power was absurd to bear if your physique was weak. He could have died as a result of his stupid decision.

He got shivers just thinking about it. The agony he felt in just three seconds of wielding such tremendous power nearly destroyed his internal organs. He couldn't help but sigh as he gazed at the throne in the center of his wooden shack of a castle.

"Gaia, how many points do I need to get to the second level of authority?"

[In response to the host, the second level of authority would require 200 points.]

"Gaia, if I increase my authority to the second level now, can I use the authority ticket for the third level?" Zion wondered as he noticed a ticket for increasing his authority without using points; he couldn't help but wonder if such a loophole could be exploited.

[Answering the host, because this is your first authority increase, you can use the ticket for the third increase since your strength has reached the required level for the third authority.]

Zion couldn't help but smile when he heard Gaia's explanation. He has no idea what his second and third authorities could do, but he would not hesitate to increase his authority right now because the system is his only safety and power in a desperate situation like this.

"Gaia, raise my authority to the second and third levels and show me your power."

A tremendous mechanical and wind sound could be heard in the shack as the entire wooden shack was enveloped in light.

"Fuck," Zion couldn't see his surroundings because they were engulfed in light, but what he heard took him completely by surprise, and he couldn't stop shaking with excitement.

After the increase was completed, Zion noticed the surroundings changing, the wooden shack becoming a real castle with more space.

It was now made of stone, but when he touched the stone of the castle floor and walls, he felt it was un-even cut, indicating that he was still a long way from the final appearance of his space castle.

The candlelight is now a chandelier that hangs from the ceiling. It now has a companion in the form of candles, which are burning brightly and have a calming effect on those around them.

The table is now longer than before, measuring 107 x 244 cm, or 3' 6" x 8', and the seats are well separated from one another.

He can see that there are six seats available; he doesn't know if he will gain more, but the good news is that he knows what to do and how it will affect his authority.

Zion looked at his throne, and even though it didn't change like the others, he had a different feeling about it. For example, as he gazed at his wooden throne, he felt a ripple that could be good or bad for anyone who looked at it, but since it was his throne, it was good to him. On the throne, he felt a ripple of happiness.

When he considered the people who would vie for his throne, he couldn't help but wonder what their fate would be if they were the ones who felt the ripples.

"Gaia, tell me about the changes!" Zion exclaimed.

The castle has been strengthened and upgraded to the third level.

The host has activated the guardian function, and you will be able to choose a guardian spirit for the throne once you have established your kingdom.

When Zion heard Gaia's explanation, he couldn't help but hiss coldly. He gained a tremendous amount of strength from those two increases in authority. He can now fully admit to himself that he entered the system with his true appearance and power.

"What an upgrade, thank you, Gaia!" Zion exclaimed, rereading the notification to ensure he hadn't misheard anything.

After finishing his reading, Zion fully comprehended the function of his enhanced authority. He couldn't help but think of the different ways the authority he opened up could be used now that not only the castle had been upgraded, but the functions and increase in authority he could access were much better.

"This is an upgrade on myself too haha, now for the last body cleansing serum, let's see what this thing does," Zion said as he drank the serum without thinking.

"It tastes like an energy drink... fuck."
