21 Library

"So what was it again?"

Inside a structure located at the nook between the mountains of the kingdom of Xenoahs, Alex muttered to himself as he looked at the large structure which resembled Arc De Triomphe while trying to remember the contents of the plot where Touya found the library.

A while ago, Ember had informed him about the founding of the ruin. Hearing this, he teleported to Xenoahs after checking the map in his smartphone and memorizing the coordinates of the location to teleport there.

"If my memory serves me correctly, this is the place where you have to solve some quizzes to allow you to enter the library..."

Alex muttered to himself as he looked at the puzzle written in one of the ancient languages of the world. The puzzle had shapes of triangle, semicircle, circle, star, and square with some dots presented at their centers.

"[Reading]: Ancient Spirit Script"

'Line up the shapes to the right in the correct order, top to bottom. You do not need to physically move them. Simply imagining it as you channel your magic into the firestone is enough.'

Alex looked at the Firestone embedded on the pillar situated at the center of the whole structure and started sending his magic to it.

Alex, who remembers all the answers of the quizzes thanks to his enhanced memory, provided him with this new body. The answer to this question was simple - he just needed to move the puzzles from the left side of the pillar to the right side.

'DingDingDing'

The bell-like voices indicating that Alex had answered the question right rang and a gate opened up in front of him, leading him to the next room where a similar riddle was asked.

"There are eight coins and a single scale. One of the coins is counterfeit. The counterfeit coin weighs a little bit less than a legitimate coin, thus it is easy to discover by weighing. The question, however, is what is the least number of attempts needed to determine the false coin? An incorrect answer will return you to the entrance."

This question was also easily answered by Alex, who just remembered the answers.

'One.'

He answered while channeling his magic to the blue spell stone, leading to the next door where another riddle was asked. However, this time he didn't know the answer beforehand because the author never mentioned it.

"Please follow the rules of the current calculation. In this system, what does X equal?" 36 = 1, 108 = 3, 2160 = 20, 10800 = X. "

"Oh finally...sigh"

Alex sighed as he looked at the final riddle. It took him a while, but he was able to manage to solve the previous two riddles.

"5."

Alex said the answer immediately as it was quite a simple question.

Ding ding ding... We have a winner!

A loud voice rang, and in front of Alex, a familiar teleportation circle appeared. Channeling his magic to the circle, his body was enveloped by a flash of light, teleporting him away.

After Alex's vision cleared, he found himself inside another one of Babylon's floating islands. He was currently looking at a giant cylindrical building made of glass.

Alex made his way towards the building and saw thousands of books arranged properly in the bookshelves, making it seem like paradise for people who love to read.

When Alex entered the building, he followed the direction leading towards the center of the library. He saw a girl sitting on the desk reading a book carefully. Her hair was cut short, colored an icy blue, and she wore glasses on her face. She looked similar in dress and stature to the Rosetta. She was the Library's Terminal Gynoid.

The gynoid was reading the last page of the book and stopped reading after she finished. She looked up at Alex and introduced herself with a serious face.

"Welcome to the Babylon Library. I am the Terminal Gynoid of this institution, Irisfam. You, however, may refer to me as Fam."

"Nice to meet you Fam, my name is Alexander Crown," Alex also introduced himself to the new gynoid.

Just like that, Alex got himself a new gynoid and another piece of Babylon.

Alex returned to Sandora after kissi.Ahem after giving pam his DNA sample and completed the registration of the his genetic code.

Lexi received news about the discovery of the Library, and she rushed to Alex to take her there.

She busied herself reading books related to magic, completely forgetting her duties to the rebel camp.

"Sir, the food and all items you have demanded have been procured successfully. Most of the rebels in all the cities of Sandora have taken their positions."

"The rumors about the king we started have become more widespread, and now even the conservatives have started to change their views."

"The name and motto of the rebels, which have always been a secret organization, have now started to spread throughout Sandora. Many civilians are now supporting us but don't voice out since they are still afraid of the king."

"All the arrangements have been almost completed, and we all are almost ready for the battle."

Sitting inside the conference room of the rebels, Alex listened to all the reports from the top echelons of rebels who have almost completed everything he had asked for.

"...Very well then, since everything is completed, we will now begin the biggest rebellion that this world has ever seen."

"In three days from now, we will launch our attack and end the rule of the slave king," Alex declared as he looked calmly at the others who all wore an excited grin on their faces.

"For The Rebels!"

"FOR THE REBELS!"
