Invitation?

After his Guild registration was complete, Arthur walked down the stairs with a smile and a now copper card.

The previous blank black card had transformed into a copper card with his name, home address, his parents' name, and Adventurer's Guild rank.

Since he didn't have a home, he put the Grand Duke's estate address knowing Uncle Ern wouldn't mind.

As for his parents' name, since he didn't have any, he put his guardian's name, Ern Alucard Heartfilia.

As for his rank, it was obviously one-star Copper.

If he wanted to increase his rank, he would have to complete ten one-star Copper requests.

Or if he joins a party with high-ranked Guild members, depending on their ranks, he could even become a two-star Copper or more after a single quest completion.

Although he wished to increase his rank, he didn't want to rely on others.

What would the fun in that be?

As for money?

He had plenty of money.

"Brat, -hic- yeah, -hic- I'm talking to yeah."

Unfortunately, despite him not wanting to join a party it seemed that someone or rather a group of five ruff-looking drunk individuals thought otherwise.

They were all big and tough-looking with plenty of muscles and each had a tattoo of a red rose on their right biceps.

"Y-yes?" Arthur asked hesitantly despite knowing what they wanted.

It was obvious, especially since it looked as though they were waiting especially for him by the stairs.

"Brat, wwat -hic- element ye got?"

Yep…

He knew it.

But even so…

"Space Magic." Arthur said to the bald man in the middle, who he presumed to be their leader.

"Damn brat, ye think -hic funny?" The bald man thought the kid was trying to mess with him so he tried to grab the kid by the collar but found nothing.

"Damnit, chase -hic- that brat!"

"Ey Vincent!"

"Whadya want?" The bald man turned in the direction of the voice.

"That kid is long gone, forget it!" He had clearly seen how the kid disappeared. Shockingly, the kid wasn't lying.

"Welcome to Moon Cafe, dear customer! Will you be having the usual?"

Usual…

This was only his second time here.

"Cough, do you have takeaway, by chance?"

"Yes, we do."

"Then, I would like two servings of the deluxe serving platter… Actually, please make it three. And one cheesecake."

"Sir, would you like anything to drink?"

"Six of your specialty tea please." Without poison hehe.

Meanwhile in the Grand Duke's Estate

"Hohoho, Ern you should have been there. The look on that ambassador's face was priceless." Edward laughed while repeatedly slamming his hands onto the table in front of him from sheer joy.

"Elder brother, will you finally tell me what has caused your joyous mood?" Ern said bitterly. His elder brother had rushed into his estate and started drinking himself to oblivion. At first, he was worried that something terrible might have happened to cause his elder brother's behavior. But then he started rambling about the Demi Human Kingdom's ambassador, which he knew was visiting, but the problem was for five minutes straight his elder brother wouldn't get to the main point why his mood was so joyous.

"Hohoho, fine, fine! Ern, you must know of the headaches the Demi Human Lizard Clan and Demi Human Snake Clan have caused our Royal Family for centuries now?"

"... Edward, can you just get to the point? I want to go back to watching over Violet and Scarlet." From Cecelia she learned her husband had barged into the estate; worried she and Lynn had come to check on what had happened. So she too was annoyed.

"Sister Elaine is right!" She wanted to go back to her children. If it was not related to the Demi Human Kingdom, she and most likely her sister might have already left. To this day, she and her Sister Elaine have held a grudge against those two Demi-Human Clans.

"Cough, sorry, Elaine dear, Sister-in-law!" He had still wanted to keep them in suspense. If it were just his brother, he would have lengthened his rambling for another ten minutes or so. However, he would rather not get his wife and sister-in-law angry.

"Like I was saying, they have caused quite a few headaches and mostly anger at their preposterous demands."

"Hmm, recently those two clans wanted us to marry Scarlet and Violet to their Chieftain's sons." Ern said.

"That is right, just now their ambassador's terms for an alliance between our nations were the same. If they had not brought up such a term, I would have never brought up the Royal Blood Ritual, but when I did, you should have seen their faces haha!" Edward said before bursting out laughing remembering their facial expressions.

"Hohoho!"

"I wish I were there!"

"Waiting for your rambling to stop seemed worth it!"

"Did something happen?" Arthur asked after seeing Uncle Edward, Uncle Ern, Aunt Lynn, and Aunt Elaine with joyous moods.
