26 Chapter 25

Since the bed inside my room was so good, I spent all the remaining time of the day sleeping. At night, I still remained asleep, and I woke up the next morning. The inn provided food, so I didn't need to worry about breakfast and lunch. I did nothing the entire day, however, the same was not the case for Fin. I saw him from the tall balcony of my room, talking to some people in town, asking for directions and stuff. I wanted to wave and call to him, but he looked so serious, I didn't want to get in his way.

Mm... maybe he's finally grew some balls and is asking people for the town's brothels... Maybe that was the case.

Still, he said that he wanted me to join him in a dinner later tonight. I thought he finally had the guts to ask a girl like me out, but apparently, it was to celebrate us safely arriving here. I really can't believe how much of pussy he is... Ugh, now I feel sorry for his fiancee.

Later that night, Fin came to my room. He was wearing a formal suit and he looks more neat than usual. It was like he was a high school boy going to prom. As for me, I was wearing my usual shorts, and an oversized t-shirt with a character on it I knitted myself.

"E-Eria-sama...!? What is that outfit? Are you not wearing anything down there!?"

Maybe because my shirt was too long, Fin didn't notice I was wearing shorts. So to convince him, I lifted my shirt.

"E-Eria-sama...!" Fin cried, hiding his face with a hand. Then, secretly eyeing me, he turned red and added, "You look cute, Eria-sama... but I think some bad guys outside might prey on you when you look so innocent like that... Please wear something less revealing."

"Fine. Just wait here...!"

Hurriedly, I went back to my room to change outfits. Since Fin was wearing something formal, I thought I should wear something close to that too. I have a lot of formal dresses, like my traditional elven dresses, or the aristocratic dresses I got from travelling around two continents. I also have suits for men, tailored just for me. However... I don't really like wearing formal outfits, so I rarely wear them at all.

"Hmm... I think this one's good enough," I convinced myself as I wear the outfit I chose in front of the mirror.

Going outside, I saw Fin on the same spot, waiting nervously.

"Is this fine?"

What I chose to wear was a traditional elven sorcerer's dress. It was a green fit dress that shows the outline of my lower body, waist down, while revealing a small amount of skin on my chest and shoulder. It's fabric was mostly light-green, but it was partly shared with white designs and outlines of gold. It comes with a luxurious necklace and something similiar to a magician's hat. Of course, I did not wear the hat since it was not needed. Overall, it's not a formal dress, but it can still pass as one in human standards.

I'm used to wearing casual female clothing, but I still feel embarrassed when I get to wear something like a dress. However, wearing something like this, I feel like I'm only cosplaying and it does not feel as awkward to me.

In my previous life, I was always made fun of and forced to wear feminine outfits in school activities. It was partly because I couldn't refuse, but also partly because I honestly looked good wearing them.

Now that I think about it... it was a surprise none of those guys forced themselves on me and went for my ass...

"Amazing! You look so beautiful, Eria-sama!"

"You can say that again," I playfully said as I leaned over towards Fin.

"Ye-Yes... you're... really pretty, Eria-sama..." he reluctantly repeated.

Although it sounds arrogant, I won't deny what Fin said. No matter how much I tried refusing to accept it at first, I really turned out to be unbelievably beautiful in this world.

"Then, if you don't mind, Eria-sama!" Although still awkward, Fin was enthusiastic and excited enough to take the lead this time.

I followed behind him as we went around the town. As usual, there were many stares pointed at me, but it was also the same for Fin.

And, as expected, Fin took me to the most luxurious restaurant in town. Like him, most men inside were wearing suits, just differing in colour. There were also some of them who were wearing glorified adventurer armour. Obviously, they were adventurers. As for the women, all of them were wearing dresses, not one was wearing anything else.

"Here, Eria-sama," like a proper gentleman, Fin led me to our table.
