Chapter 24: You'll always be our friend!

Today is the day I get married and to filthy brat no less, in an arranged marriage no less, to a man I find repulsive. I hate myself for leaving them like that my friends.

Right now I'm slow walking down the aisle, all around me are nobles from different families though the king isn't here due to a journey to the elf kingdom or so I have heard. Though his daughter was able to make it.

I kept walking until I made it up to the podium, in front of me stood my 'fiance' as disgusting as the thought of me wedding him is, he was wearing .

*Boooom!*

The door burst open out walked Luffy, Skipper, Snow, Jeremiah and Clara oddly enough, Luffy was dressed in a weird suit I've never seen before along with my brother they both had their weapons strapped to their hips, Luffy though has a rather large coat that he's wearing as cape while Snow, Skipper and Clara wore beautiful dresses, but I could tell they were made for combat as well.

"What is the meaning if this!?" asked the father of Greatheart, Maruvious Daxuis. He looks similar to his son except for his brown hair and mustache.

"I don't know Maruvious. Jeremiah what is the meaning of this." asked My father. Though what is he doing with Luffy?

"Simple father, I'm leaving the Lavinia family I can no longed stand, the abuse you've put Morgiana through and...I swore to serve Monkey D Luffy from now on." replied Jeremiah.

"You dare!" he took a sword from one of the Knight armours being displayed as he rushed towards Jeremiah "[Swift Slash!]" said Marcus as he brought down his blade which Luffy simply caught in his fingers.

"You must be the bastard father." said Luffy with rage evident in his voice, a pressure then suddenly hit the entire building cracking walls and some furniture.

Everyone paled my father...no Marcus fell to the floor as he looked at Luffy with dread clear on his face. I could feel this aura wrapping around me protecting me.

"Tell me what right did you have to treat Morgiana the way you did?" asked Luffy, his voice was cold and stern, like parent questioning their child. I've never seen him like this before.

"...I...I...!" my father stammered, however Luffy got impatient. "I don't care any more [Observe]." Luffy then began to read my fathers history out loud.

"I see now, your wife has an history of infidelity and you caught her in the act once again, at that time she was pregnant with Morgiana. Though due to your pride and wanting to keep a strong front you took your anger out on her, as you abused and neglected her for most of her formative years."

Said Luffy out loud shocking the entire church. I looked at my mother along with my other siblings who looked at her shock. She fell down and began to cry, this scandal just ruined her, it will be hard for the entire family to recover from this.

Luffy then pricked my father with some tube with needle connected to and began to draw from him. He walked up to the podium. ",Dawn do you mind giving me your hand?" Dazed I nodded back to him, taking that as confirmation he pricked me too and began to draw magic circle, he then placed two small drops blood on different ends of the circle in smaller circles connected to it.

"What's he doing some sort if ritual?" asked someone. "This circle can tell if someone blood related or not, if the drops of blood attract to each other then their related, zero attracted their or not by blood." said Luffy shocking everyone here again.

My 'family' looked on intently and Luffy without even chanting, the circle began to glow signifying its activation and slowly the two drops of blood rushed to each other and merged.

"So she is your child." Luffy got up and smiled and began to clap confusing us all, he also had this smile on his face "Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Lavinia you've ruined your family!"

My father looked on in shock. "No it can't be true it can't be!" he stifled out as he gripped his hair and looked at me with tears in his eyes. He then let out a blood curdling scream as fell face down on floor.

"Dawn let's go." he said to with the most kind and caring smile I've ever seen. I began to tear up and I ran towards and hugged him with all my might as I began to cry in his chest.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" I repeated over and over again. "I should've said goodbye! I don't deserve your friend ship!" tears flowed uncontrollably from my eyes along with snot and mucus.

Luffy only pat and hugged me "No I'm sorry. I spat on what you believed in. I shouldn't have done that." he said calmly.

"Luffy I don't deserve your-!" however he interrupted me "Dawn make no mistake even though you've left the party you'll always be our friend."

"Dawn I was so worried about you!" Snow hugged me she is crying, it seems my absence impacted her more than I thought.

"Alright let's go home!" said Luffy, you know I never thought I'd be so happy hearing those words.
