Chapter 22: Message

Luffy:"Okay guys I got a new update for Unit Smasher!" said Luffy he was standing on top of a stage with a huge crowd standing around it. He then takes out a deck case with a gem in it.

???:"What's that?" said a random civilian.

Luffy:"These are called Gearz, and these do...it's best if Skipper and I show you." Skipper the came out with a Gearz in hand with a deck in it.

Luffy:"To activate the Gearz just say Unit Break. On 3 2 1!"

Skipper/Luffy:"Unit Break!" A magic circles formed under them as the same magic circles that are used in the games showed up on the field.

Luffy:"Like normal you draw from your deck however your cards are now a just projection like the units which you can move to your hand, or to your Mana gauge, like the usual game. As you can see the life and mana gauge are directly shown up there." Up above the both were their mana and life gauge.

Luffy:"Hey Skipper why don't you take the first turn."

Skipper:"Sure why not. I draw and charge, I call Buster Freed to the field." A real life version of Buster Freed appeared on the field.

-Later-

Luffy and Skipper could now be seen selling Gearz for the price of a few bronze pieces people saw what they can do of course they were gonna buy it. They can now battle like they were really there. Something like this was bound to be a huge hit.

A while later they finished selling the Gearz and we're lounging about in the living room of the mansion, Snow was also with them, she was living in a stable before so Luffy kindly offered her a place to stay.

Snow:"Luffy."

Luffy:"Yeah Snow."

Snow:"I wonder if Dawn is okay."

Luffy:"I'm sure Dawn's fine she's a strong fighter."

Snow:"Are you sure?" Luffy smiled and gave her a head pat which caused the girl to blush and her tail to start wagging.

Luffy:"Definitely!"

*Clang!* Dawn clashed with her sister Lucille, the woman smiled cruelly as she tried kicked Dawn in her stomach. But it didn't even faze Dawn, she pushed through the blow and went for her own attack, which hit Lucille dead on knocking her away.

This angered the girl and she got up and ran towards Dawn with an attack of her own, Dawn was about to parry it but she threw dirt in Dawn eyes blinding her. Lucille then took the initiative to kick Dawn in her stomach.

Dawn:"This was supposed to be honorable duel why are you doing this?!"

Lucille:"Simple I hate you, we all hate you, though this doesn't come as a surprise to you. I only fight fairly when it's spar or with someone I respect and you don't deserve that."

*WHAM WHAM WHAM!!!* She kept kicking Dawn over and over again tears filled Dawn eyes, as did rage, she'll make her pay for the years of abuse, she rolled out of the way of an another incoming kick she then sprung up and swung her sword sister full power as her blade glowed an eery red, she was intending to kill her sister who was terrified at the killing intent Dawn was putting off.

As the blade inched closer to her. *CLANG!!!* The attack was parried by Jeremiah, he had on his usual stoic expression, he looked at Dawn almost sternly, seeing Dawn standing down he sheathed his blade and looked towards his Lucille.

Jeremiah:"Be more mindful in your spars, father would be displeased if Morgiana would to be injured before her wedding." Dawn's eyes widened.

Dawn:"Wait, when will it be the day of the wedding?" she asked.

Jeremiah:"In three days." Dawn's eyes widened even more as she fell to her knees despair filling her and tears streaming down from her eyes, in nothing but three days her freedom and chastity will be taken from her, by some spoiled noble, she didn't know what to do, she thought maybe if she didn't left Luffy, this would've never happened.

Now she was sure even they knew of her current position, they would just flat out ignore her.

-Later-

Dawn layed in her room she cried herself to sleep, Jeremiah stood outside her bedroom, he clenched his fist, he's been listening to her cries all night he sighed and resigned himself, a determined look cast over his face as does the shadow in the hallway.

-The next day-

Luffy, Skipper and Snow, were now sitting in adventurers guild many adventurers could be seen playing Unit Smasher.

Anna:"You know with how popular your game. is, I thought you'd retire and live your life in luxury." said Anna.

Luffy:"No way I just made the game for travelling funds, I only do this for the adventure."

Skipper:"Luffy I'm taking a goblin slaying quest, little bastards has been sighted again."

Luffy:"Sure I'm just gonna hang with the kids again today. What are you gonna do Snow?" Snow placed a finger to her and said.

Snow:"Don't know I think I'll just play with kids too." They were about to leave when the doors suddenly burst open.

???:"Is Luffy currently in the building?" said a man wearing a monocle and wearing really fancy clothes he also had a hat with feather on it.

Luffy:"I'm here whaddya want Joseph?"

Joseph:"A message currently came for you by someone, someone of extremely high social standing, someone with royal blood."

Every one stopped what they were doing someone of royal blood. That was serious.

Luffy:"Which family is it from?" asked Luffy

Joseph:"The Lavinia family."
