The first thing he considered was strengthening his Physique with the help of Gravity Talisman and adaptability and then opening all his gates as soon as possible. He had set the target to six months as he needed a strong body to completely run star energy and adapt to it.

The process he thought was using the Gravity Talisman to the maximum level he could and then using his sword domain to control the star energy and then filling the gates up by using it in a circle from one to another and then creating a Decagon.

After he would complete a decagon, he would then keeps joining one gate to another like diagonals in the decagon and it would then prevents him from gathering excess energy as it would keep on rushing in a circle until he wants to. But the problem was the amount of pain he would feel as using only a little bit of energy was the same as the pain he felt before.

For this, he planned on making runes to stun his senses and then put him in an illusion where he wouldn't feel any sense of pain and then let the body adapt to it. It took 5 days to analyze and complete the method and he kept on doing it for 8 months. It took him 8 months to complete the process and at last, he was able to open all of his gates and increase his strength by 1 greater realm no matter in which realm he was. his body had also gone strong enough to 100x the normal gravity without using any energy and 150x after using the energy.

In the meantime, his cultivation increased to the 10th Level of Sky Profound Realm and his Sword Domain reached Peak level he just has to step into Emperor Profound Realm and then his sword cultivation will increase from Sword Domain to Initial Mastery to Sword Heart Level.

It's that he couldn't level up his Sword Domain but he wanted to fight Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign who was at the 6th Level of Sovereign Realm according to his knowledge and then make him his subordinate with or without his will.

He had created a lot of seals, runes, Talisman, and formations in the 8 months and even listing them will take the whole place.

He had also increased his immunity to the Divine Tribulation Realm level of poison as now with Lan Rou as the spirit, he could Poison till the Divine Master Realm level. This was actually the limit of 'his' Poison Pearl and he won't be able to increase it without the other Pearl. So this is what 'God' meant when he said it was either fortune or inconvenience.

Anyways let's go back to the topic, he was free for 10 months as both Lin Feng and Lan Xi were with Gods and now he could travel around the Profound Sky Continent.

First, he would go to the Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign's nest and defeat him and then take away Evil Infant's Wheel of Myriad Tribulations.

He knew that the item being evil was bullshit and the devils couldn't control it and let the Poison flow. With Evil Infant Wheel and Sky Poison Pearl, he had the theory that he would be able to increase the level of Poison he could use in Sky Poison Pearl and he would also get an extreme trump card, i.e. World Destroying Poison: Life Extinguishing Myriad Tribulations and even Heaven Wounding Thought Severing Poison which worked like a weaker version of World Destroying Poison: Life Extinguishing Myriad Tribulations and still could kill Gods. But he would have to gather a lot of energy for this as most of its energy had been lost and it being weak right now was beneficial for him.

With this, he went to Moon Slaughter Devil Nest and instead of fighting the devil he decided to take his time and get his body to adapt to Yin Energy, he might be able to learn Yin laws there as the energy was extremely Potent there.

It took him 2 months to comprehend the basics of Yin Laws and the basics were the only thing he could learn there as it was only Yin Energy present there and if he could comprehend it Initial level (He divided the levels the same as other mastery) he would be able to Darkness Profound energy and it was same for other elements and laws. Even though he could learn Fire laws from the Fire Seed he never tried it and let Lan Xi learn from it as he didn't want to become master at all the laws and only to decide to comprehend Supreme laws like Space and Time and the high-grade laws like Life and Death or Yang and Yin or Light and Darkness. And at last, he will comprehend Samsara laws and the Law of Nothingness. This was his plan for the laws.

With him comprehending basic Yin law and adapting his body to Yin Energy, he decided to start his fight with Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign.

He had removed his gravity Talisman and he might be going to fight for the first time with him being at his peak.

His cultivation base was at the 10th Level of the Sky Profound Realm and Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign's cultivation was actually the 8th Level of the Sovereign Profound Realm instead of the 6th Level of Sovereign Profound Realm.

The difference of more than 25 levels of cultivation. He decided to start the fight.

As soon as he was within the reach of the Devil, the Devil attacked without any warning and he dodged the attack due to his high-level danger sense and his instincts.

'Quite Good!' The devil thought in his mind but he decided to not speak.

And Long Chen had withdrawn his Sword and released his Domain. He had also increased his cultivation all the way to the 10th level of Emperor Profound Realm but he still didn't decide to progress to Sword Heart Realm. From his a pressure with the level of Sovereign Profound Realm was released and as soon as the devil felt the pressure, a crazy smile appeared on his face and he shouted, "GOOD BRAT!"

He jumped at him and started to fight him barehanded but his arms were coated with Darkness Profound Energy which had a corrosive effect but it didn't work on Long Chen who had a high immunity towards poison and adaptability to Yin Energy. Devil's strength was actually at Peak Sovereign Profound Realm bordering to 2nd level Divine Origin Realm. The difference between Sovereign Profound Realm and Divine Origin Realm was like that of between Heaven and Earth and Long Chen who even though was able to defend himself will get more and more suppressed as the fight will go on. They kept fighting for 15 minutes and then Long Chen sensed the chance to enter the Sword Heart Realm. He created a distance between himself and the devil and the said,

"I listen to all Swords and I am the Master."

"Sword Come."

As soon as he completed his sentence, 1000s of energy swords were created and then they attacked the Devil.

With him stepping into Sword Heart Realm ( Initial Mastery ), his cultivation increased from the 10th Level of Emperor Profound Realm to the 5th Level of Tyrant Profound Realm with his gated open only in one attack ( which were actually 1000s, but anyways) he defeated the Devil.

And now only 7 Months were left till the Canon and he still had much more plans to complete.
